Chapter 3

Ahsoka arrived on Nar Shaddaa not long after entering hyperspace, as it was only a short distance from Mustafar. With the help of R3, she found a secluded place to land.

"Thanks R3. I need you to stay with the ship. If something goes wrong and I need a quick evac I'll let you know." R3 just gave out a series of beeps in reply.

Leaving the ship, she started to make her way towards the TIE factory. Upon reaching it, she saw a pair of stormtroopers guarding the entrance. Should be easy, she thought walking towards them.

Upon seeing her, they stepped forward, hands on blasters. "Halt! This is a restricted area."

Ahsoka didn't respond, but continued walking.

"Stop or we'll be forced to open fire."

Again, she didn't stop and kept moving closer and closer.

"Alright you leave us no choice."

They both raised their blasters, but before they could fire, Ahsoka was right on top of them, lightsabers activated. She easily cut their weapons in half and impaled both of them on her crimson sabers. She retracted the sabers and the two troopers life-less bodies slumped to the ground.

She entered the premises of the factory, and found a place to hide. Now, all she had to do was wait for Kota to launch his attack.

She didn't have to wait long. Within ten minutes of her entering the factory, the alarms sounded. Kota's attack had begun, and she sprung into action. She knew he would attempt to take the control room, so she would meet him there. First, however, she needed to plant the explosives on the generators that powered the station.

She flew down the corridors of the factory, killing any stormtrooper or rebel she came across with ease. Upon reaching the generator room, she realized it was ray shielded. She would have to get creative.

Looking around the room, she spotted an air vent directly above her. Unlatching the cover, she jumped up into the vent and began to crawl into the generator room. She came to another cover, and opened it to reveal that it was unguarded. She dropped down and got to work. She planted detonators on each of the seven generators.

Satisfied with her work, she made her way back out of the room through the vent. Dropping to the ground, she saw a group of stormtroopers standing at the end of the hallway, guns pointed at her.

"Hello boys," she said with a smirk before sending a force blast at them. They were all thrown against the wall and were killed instantly. She smiled at her work. That had always been one of her favorite things to do.

She made her way up the levels of the factory, heading for the control room and the Jedi scum within it. She encountered a few more rebels and stormtroopers that met their end by her sabers. She smiled each time. Their screams of agony were music to her ears.

She finally reached the hallway that led to the control room. She peaked around the corner and saw two rebel troops standing guard outside of it. She smiled to herself. if they were anything like the troopers at the front gates, this would be a cakewalk. She walked down the hallway, and they foolishly began to fire immediately. She just waved her hand, deflecting the blaster bolts with the force, and then proceeded to force choke both of them. They collapsed to the ground, dead.

Ahsoka walked up to the door and pressed the button to open it. Three rebels turned to her, guns raised, but she just stuck out her hands, and blue electricity shot out from them, killing them all.

General Kota had remained facing away from her. Looking out the window of the room. He sighed and turned around. "I was hoping for Vader," he said defeatedly.

"Vader doesn't have time for the likes of you, so he sent me instead. I will ensure your death is swift," she shot back.

"You are overconfident child. I have been waiting for Vader for too long to b e stopped by you. you're not even a true Sith. You're just Vaders little pet. You're expendable, and that's why he's sent you here today. I'll make sure to send your ashes back to him."

"You talk too much old man." Ahsoka activated her sabers and ran at Kota, swiping at him. He didn't even bring out his saber, just sidestepped her swings.

"You have no technique. You just rely on brute strength, and that is why you will never beat me." This only served to enrage Ahsoka more. She continued to swing, and he continued to dodge her attacks. She was growing more and more frustrated by the minute.

"ENOUGH!" She shouted, using the force to send everything around her flying, including Kota. He slammed hard into a wall, and collapsed to the floor. She strode over to him, sabers in hand. "What I lack with a saber, I make up for with the force." She proceeded to send a wave of force lightning at him, causing him to scream in pain.

When she was right on top of him, she swung a death blow at Kota, but he activated his saber just in time to block.

"What's wrong old man?" Ahsoka asked cheekily. "Am I too much for you now?"

He just gritted his teach and went on the offensive. With her two sabers, Ahsoka managed to block all of his attacks with ease. She could sense he was tiring, and she smiled. She used the force to separate them a bit, and proceeded to force choke him. He grabbed at his throat, struggling for air. Just before she crushed his trachea, she let him go. He fell to his hands and knees gasping for air. His saber was sitting next to him on the ground. Ahsoka used the force to pull it towards her, and proceeded to clip it to her belt.

She walked over to the man and activated her sabers.

"Vader thinks he's turned you... but I can sense your future... I can feel the light inside of you trying to break free. I can sense the conflict within you."

"Quiet old man, you know nothing about me. I serve Vader, and one day I will rule the galaxy alongside him." This caused Kota to laugh. "What's so funny?" Ahsoka asked angrily.

"That you actually believe that. Vader is just using you to do his dirty work, then he'll just throw you away. He-" he was cut off by Ahsoka's sabers being thrusted through his chest.

"You talk too much," she said leaving the room.

She made her way out of the factory and back to her ship. The whole walk back she was thinking about what Kota had said. Would Vader really just throw me away? No, he would never, he cares too much about me. He promised that we would one day overthrow the Emperor and rule the galaxy together. But Kota had accomplished his goal. He had planted the seeds of doubt in the young togruta. Even as she sped away in her ship and blew the factory, she was still dwelling on Kota's words.
