"E-excuse me miss", Jungkook spoke up in the buzzing classroom. His little hand was raised high and his tail wrapped itself around his waist.

"Yes Jungkook", the teacher nodded for him to continue. The chatter died down as the whole class stared at the young hybrid in anticipation.

"I-I think I said something rude to Taehyung which made him upset. Can I go check on him?", the raven haired boy asked, averting his gaze away from the eyes burning holes into his body. The teacher seemed to freeze for a second and Jungkook was afraid maybe some witch or wizard used an ice spell on her. She cleared her throat, "Sure".

Jungkook quickly gathered his things and rushed his way out of class. His cat ears picked up some whispers from across the room.

Why would he go after him?

He's new. He doesn't know better.

Shouldn't we warn him from that thing?

He probably ran to the rooftop again.

I hope he jumps this time.

That monster is going to kill the poor boy.

Jungkook was so confused once he reached the hallway and slammed the door shut. Monster? Were they talking about Taehyung? He didn't look like one but in the supernatural world a whole lot of things weren't what they looked liked. Jungkook finds the staircase and goes up until he sees a sign saying 'Roof'. The old metal door screeches when he pushes it open and the cold air immediately gets released into the warmth of the school hallway. Jungkook's tail is tightly around his waist seemingly for protection as he walks onto the rooftop.

Jungkook doesn't really like heights but once his eyes land on the brown haired boy standing on the edge, he doesn't hesitate to run across the rooftop.

"Don't jump!", he yells, startling the older.

"Jeezus", the other mumbles when the shock fades away.

He turns around to find the cat hybrid standing in front of him with a worried face.

"And why would you care?", he crosses his arms nonchalantly, stepping even closer to the edge, almost testing the other boy's patience.

"Don't jump please", Jungkook can only urge out, panic raging through his veins. His throat is almost choking itself by realizing how high the building is and how deep he could fall. But most of the fear he's emitting is because of the older boy in front of him, almost stepping off the rooftop.

"You know lots of students would love it if I jumped", Taehyung turns around to stare into the depths," They would even ask me to a back flip and I'd probably grant their wish".

"Why?", Jungkook is able to croak out.

"You're new right?", Taehyung turns around again, seeing Jungkook nod.

"Let me do you a favor", the older says," Stay away from me. Ignore me, insult me and hurt me. When you do that, you're life here at school will go smoothly. But if you near me and talk to me, without any reason to gain my pain out of it, you'll be casted away by the rest of the students".

Jungkook is taken aback by this. His brows furrow in confusion and his tail is now swirling behind him.

"What do you mean? Why would I hurt you?", Jungkook asks. He tries to find a reason to hurt the other but he seems perfectly normal.

"Because monsters are meant to be treated that way".

"I-I don't understand".

Taehyung sighs and finally steps away from the edge, much to Jungkook's happiness.

"Ask your friends. They'll inform you", he walks past the younger and back into the hallway, "And don't talk to me ever again".

But why?

"Jimin?"

The hybrid shuffles its way to his wizard friend who's leaning against the wall waiting for him.

"What's wrong Kookie? You look upset", Jimin asks worry lacing his voice. The other quickly glances around and grabs Jimin's shoulder, pulling him a bit down.

"I-I... I'll tell you later", Jungkook sighs, not knowing how to tell Jimin about Taehyung.

"Okay?", the older asks confused, "Let's go grab lunch so you can meet my friends!"

Jimin pulls the younger with him into the cafeteria where lots of students are chattering and munching on pizza. Jungkook smells the air and his tail starts wagging happily.

"You seem excited", Jimin chuckles, trying to catch the tail but it escapes his hand.

"I love pizza", Jungkook almost drools seeing the pizza in front of him. They both get a few slices and Jimin then leads him to a table in the corner of the room where a few boys are laughing with something.

"Hey guys", Jimin sets down his plate on the round table, motioning for Jungkook to come over, "This is my friend since kindergarten, Jeon Jungkook"

"Hello!", an energetic boy waves, "We've heard a lot about you. I'm Hoseok".

Jungkook sniffs the air again and notices the wolf like scent in the air. "You're a werewolf", he points out. Hoseok smiles and his eyes flash a quick red. "The strongest one in school".

"Yeah keep telling yourself that", another guy mumbles, his head down on the table.

"This is Yoongi", Jimin points at the boy with pink hair, "Say hi Yoongi".

The boy lifts his head up and hisses at Jimin, showing off his long fangs. "I'm not a kid, assface", he snaps and leans back on the table, trying to fall asleep again.

"Like you have maybe noticed from the very white skin and long fangs, Yoongi is a vampire", Jimin explains.

"Cool", Jungkook says, also slightly terrified. He then turns his attention to a white haired male sitting at the table. He sees the hybrid staring at him and shows a smile. His eyes are almost reptile like, the pupil has the shape of a crescent, and they often glow green.

"I have never seen a dragon before...", Jungkook says with awe, his tail flicking excitedly. The other guy chuckles.

"The dragon has a name. It's Namjoon", he smiles warmly. Jungkook bows. He has heard and read a lot about dragons. They are a mythical sort and very respected.

"No need to bow. He's just some giant reptile that can fly and spit fire", Yoongi opens one eye to look at them, "The only thing I appreciate is that he lights our barbecue if necessary".

"That's a bit rude", Jungkook mumbles but Namjoon doesn't seem to mind. The friend group has already grown  used to the vampire's attitude.

"Where's Jin?", Jimin asks when they finally sit down. Jungkook is in between Jimin and Hoseok, who grins at him.

"He had to tutor someone", Namjoon replies, ripping a piece of the pizza.

"Good thing he isn't here...", Hoseok mumbles when his eyes fall on the figure that just walked into the cafeteria. The room grows more silent, some people start whispering to each other which attracts Jungkook's attention. He turns around and recognizes the brown hair and striped shirt from somewhere. He then realizes it's Taehyung. The said boy looks around bored, ignoring the countless remarks being thrown his way. Some people move out of line, backing away from him, so he can get pizza. Taehyung doesn't seem fazed by this and when he finally gets his food he rushes out. The room gets louder again.

"I seriously hate how he uses his power to scare people off", Hoseok mumbles.

"I think some girl fainted. Probably a banshee", Jimin grumbles as an answer.

"That was Taehyung", Jungkook speaks up, not hearing what the others were saying under their breaths.

The whole table snaps their heads at him, staring in shock.

"You know him?", Namjoon asks carefully.

Jungkook nods, confused by their reaction, "Yeah, we have math together".

"You haven't talked to him, have you?", Jimin asks worriedly.

Jungkook is confused by their behavior but he can clearly remember Taehyung's words. People really hate him here at school and his friends at the table seem to dislike him too.

"No", Jungkook lies, "Why?".

"He's very bad news", Hoseok says in a low voice, "He has a bad aura around him, sending off dangerous vibes to everyone near him. Every supernatural creature feels it. Banshees go crazy every time he gets too near, they start screaming out of nowhere and sometimes faint. Rumor has it he killed his family and later on also his caretakers and friends".

But he looks so nice, Jungkook thinks to himself, And it's only a rumor.

"Don't go near him Kookie", Jimin pleads, "He's evil".

So that's what Taehyung meant when they spoke this morning.

Jungkook assures his friends that he won't ever talk to Taehyung, but deep inside he knows he won't be able to stop himself from approaching the boy.

He doesn't look evil. He just seems lost.
