I think it's time to visit her again. She should be out of the hospital now. I close my eyes and concentrate until I pick up her signal. After I have located her, I fade out of my home and slowly fade back into hers. I activate the light orb and watch her for a while, waiting for her to sense that I am here, which I know she is able to.

I hear her soft breathing pick up and I smile. She knows I'm here now. I turn to face the wall, knowing that she will roll over to face me. I am right, she does so. I wait a moment before turning back to face her. I can tell she wants to study me, not having been able to do so last time. So I let her.

After a few minutes, I decide that she has looked enough and I turn towards her. Quietly, so I don't wake the rest of her family, I say "I know you're watching me, so open your eyes please."

Her eyes widen, and she asks "How did you know?"

I smile a little in satisfaction and say "I have my ways." She frowns a little and I can tell that she is torn between being irritated and liking me. I've known she liked me since our eyes first met, which was bound to happen, considering we are soul-bonded.

"Why are you here? Why are you following me?" she questions. I sigh, quietly enough that she wouldn't be able to hear. I should have known that she would be curious about that.

"You'll find out in time." I say, plastering a faint smile on my face even though inside I'm trembling in nervousness at the mention of telling her. Ugh! Really! Anu has to call for me now? I mentally tell him that I'll be with him in a moment and then I turn my attention back to Calli. I tell her, "I'm sorry, Calli, I need to go now."

Unease flits across her lovely face right before she, with her voice trembling a tiny bit, says "Will you come again?" I smile again.

I take my gift out from where I hid it during our conversation and gently say "Of course. And if you need proof, then here is something for you." Then I carefully press it into her hands and curl her fingers over it before I fade out and travel to Anu's home.

"What do you want?", I coldly ask him.

"I want her! Where is she Lord Kaienan!" He yells at me.

Angry now, I say with my voice rising with every word, "I know you want to, but you can not have her. You know your brother Sibuna gave me a life to give to one being after their death. You know you can do nothing about it, so just give it up! She is not yours and she never will be!" With that, I fade out of view, leaving him to fume in silence.
