Today was a rainy day. There was nothing to do but sit inside Headquarters and work on the case. It was quite boring, frankly. Their date wouldn't be until later tonight, so they had much time to fill.

M watches as the rain drops pour from the skies. L's arms were wrapped around her as she rests her head into his chest. L's chin is on her head and he smiles as she hugs him back. M slowly begins to fall asleep in his arms. The two of them cuddle while the rain and thunder fight in the sky.

Meanwhile Skye was doing the same with Light. Light had his arm wrapped around her waist, as Skye's head rested on his firm shoulder. Light runs his fingers through her hair as he cuddles with her. The two of them snuggle in a blanket as they observe the outside.

"I love the rain." M murmurs into L's chest as L smiles.

"Me too."
