"Misa?" Light's temper disappeared as he stood up. M didn't handle it well either. She rushes out of her seat and strangles Misa. Light shouts to stop and separates the two. M screams while crying.

"What's your problem?" Misa hisses. M points to Skye.

"What's my problem? What's your problem I think you mean!" M screams back while Light holds her back. Just then, L swings the door open, shocked at his insane girlfriend.

"Calm down." L says, holding handcuffs to his right. M huffs and stands beside L.

"Calm down? Ryuzaki you saw it yourself, she killed Skye!" M shouts. Misa gasps and throws her hand on her chest.

"We can't confirm that." Is all L replies, biting his lip. He was truly acting stumped as if he had found something at that house that completely changed his perspective.

"No way! She's the killer!" Misa accuses, pointing her finger at M. M gapes. "I mean wasn't she at Skye's house the longest? She's just playing you, Ryuzaki."

M frowns. "W-what? You can't be serious! If anyone's this Kira its obviously Misa or Light."

Light raises his eyebrow. "No offense, but wouldn't that be something the real killer would say?"

"You're all insane!" M flails her arms. L eyes her oddly.

L takes his handcuffs and hooks M's right arm to Light's left one. M argues and so does Light, but L just remains calm.

"Ryuzaki?" Light's voice trails off and L locks the handcuffs.

"I have no choice but to put you both in confinement for the time being. I really don't want to do this but I can't help but admit that you two are my top suspects." L explains, then hugging M who was on the verge on tears.

"Me? You've suspected me all this time? Why didn't you tell me?" M cries into L's chest.

L sighs. "I highly doubt that you're the killer, but for the safety of those around us, I have no choice. I'm sorry." He explains.

"Right... Well I understand Ryuzaki." Light frowns and makes his way over to the bed where Skye was resting. (Just resting m_y_s_t) He leans down and kisses her.

"I have already contacted the police to bring you to your cells personally." L comments, turning away from M.

As they all exit the room, the only people in the room that are left are the partially dead Skye and the insane Misa.

Little did they know, Misa was the true killer.
