The two girls were in a panic as L knocks on the door once again. M sticks to the wall as she presses her ear against it. The door made a click as Skye unlocks it.

"Hey..." Skye greets with an unwelcoming tone. L and Light greet with a bow, as L scans the room.

"Hello Skye. I suppose you know why we're here?" L creepily questions, as M presses her ear closer on the wall.

Skye hesitates and nods. Light examines her oddly as well as L. They could clearly tell that Skye was hiding something.

"Have you seen M anytime recently?" L asks, cocking his eyebrow. Skye shakes her head, and makes accidental eye contact with Light. The two of them blush, and Light looks away at the floor.

"No." Skye sternly responds, gathering her focus back. L pauses for a moment.

"Mind if I look around?" L says.

Skye wants to say no. She just can't find the courage to, however. Light smiles at her in a flirty way, knowing she would then say yes if he used her. Skye nods and L thanks her.

L walks behind the wall, where he believes he heard some shuffling. Meanwhile, Light and Skye remain in the living room where they were talking (and most likely flirting.)

L moves quietly and suddenly bumps into a tall and unrecognizable figure. He had to admit, the person was quite attractive. Then it hit L.

It was M. She was dressed in fashions only Skye would force her to wear. Plus, she looked discontent as well.

It took her less than a second to swing a punch at L. L, however, caught it and shocked her. L let out a sigh of relief and hugs her. M shoves him off.

"I don't understand why you've been doing this to me." L stutters, his eyes wide. M's expression was furious.

"What I did? Look at what you did to me!" M shouts, tears running down her face. L engulfs in her a hug, and she doesn't struggle this time.

"M I never cheated on you."

M pauses and looks up at L. "W-what?"

L smiles faintly. "Jenna told me the whole story. That girl named Elle just wanted to get a reaction out of you. I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." L promises, hugging her tighter. M cries and hugs him back, speechless.

"I'm sorry L." Is all M could murmur out. He just smiles and hugs her.

"I'm just glad you're okay."

MEANWHILE

"It was nice meeting you, Light." Skye blushes as Light pecks her on the cheek. Skye gasps while Light just smirks.

"Light?" An wide eyed Misa Amane stood at the doorway,her eyes filled with rage. She squeals angrily.

Misa storms in and slaps Skye, while Skye just gasps. Skye kicks her back in the shins.

"Ladies!" Light yells, pulling the two of them apart.

"Which one of us do you like better Light, huh?" Misa growls, pulling against Light's grip.

Light looks back and forth and closes his eyes with a smile.

"Well I think it's quite obvious like I like-."
