Present :

"Who?", asked Sarah, still terrified by the growl.

Everyone looked confused. What does she mean 'who'? Doesn't she know?

Realizing she didn't know, the leader, known as Medusa- also in Sarah's science class ,snapped:" The experiment ".
And shot a deadly look towards a boy sitting in the corner looking guilty and withdrawn.

"Do you mean the amazing experiment that sir was talking about last night?",she asked hoping that it wasn't the one.

"No, it's the experiment that went wrong. The one which that boy , sitting in the corner did",replied her science teacher, feeling responsible all of a sudden.
"I never should've allowed him to do it."

"What did it turn out to be?", asked Sarah, hopping they'd shed some light on the subject.

But before anyone could answer her, there came a scratching sound from the door, followed by some sniffing and then some wining.
Sarah could feel how everyone's bodies, including hers, stiffened in terror.

'If everyone feels this way it must be seriously dangerous', she thought to herself. She could feel her own heart starting to race.
She was soo afraid, she barely noticed that no one dared to breathe and a little girl sat in another corner, face in her hands, silently weeping.
