I locked my phone and sighed. I cut on the TV. My phone started blowing up. I grabbed it and saw it was all these people following me from Instagram. Anyways , I got off the couch and went in the kitchen. I put my phone on the iHome and turned on Shuffle. It played California King Bed - Rihanna.

I decided on cooking Steak , Mashed Potatoes and Corn.

I felt her playing in my hair as I laid my face in her neck. We stood there for what seemed like hours , but what was only minutes.

Me: Zoe?

Zoe: Yeah Kodie?

She pulled away and wiped my face with her thumbs.

I lightly kissed her cheek. I have no clue what is coming over me , but I liked it.

We walked over to my bed and sat at the end.

Me: Well we started fighting , not physically cause I'd never lay a finger on my mom , cause well she's my mommy , but we started fighting over Reginald.

After Zoe went upstairs and I heard the door close I walked up to my mom.

I spun around and went upstairs into my room.

Zoe: Sure. Okay well , when your moms with Reginald , does she seem happy?

Zoe: Well , if he makes her happy , you should let him stay. You probably don't want to see your mom unhappy , now do you.

Zoe: Your mom was in the wrong for cheating on your dad , but everybody makes mistakes. Now what your going to do is go down there and apologize to your mom because that's your mom and your blessed to see your mom everyday and see her healthy and active. Then not see her until certain days.

Zoe: And ask your mom if Reginald makes her happy , if she says yes , let him stay with his daughter.

Me: But I-

Zoe: I don't care Kodie. You should want to see your mommy happy.

Me: Your right.

She grabbed my hand and we went downstairs passing the movie room which had Niyah and London in it watching a movie and laughing. We went downstairs and saw my mom on the couch crying into her hands.

Zoe: Ms. Williams?

She lifted her head up and looked at Zoe then me.

Mom: Yeah?

Zoe: Kodie , go ahead. You remember what I told you.

She went to stand by the stairs but I grabbed her face and kissed her , leaving her in shock. I walked over to my mom and pulled her into a hug.

Me: Mommy I'm so sorry. I had no right to do that.

Mom: It's okay , it's my fault sweetheart.

Me: Well yeah.

Zoe: Kodie , I will pop you.

Me: Sorry. Momma , Zoe made me realize that if Reginald makes you happy , then I have to deal with it because it's better to see my mommy smiling and active then not to see her happy and all sad cause then it makes me feel sad.

Mom: Thank you Zoe.

Zoe: It was my pleasure. She's lucky to have a mom to see everyday smiling and n-

She paused.

Zoe: Excuse me.

She ran up the glass steps softly and into my room and closed the door.

Mom: Go get her. She's a good one. Hang onto her.

Me: Thanks mama. I love you.

Mom: I love you too Barney.

I kissed her cheek and ran behind Zoe. I went in my room and saw her sitting on my window seat with her knees up to her chest. She was sniffling. I closed the door behind me softly and sat beside her. I pulled her into my lap and she cried.

Me: What happened? Did I say something?

Zoe: No. It's just , I miss my mom so much and I barely see her. She's always working.

Me: What about your dad?

Zoe: He's here , there and everywhere. Cloe and Londons all I got.

Me: Not true. You have me and I'm pretty sure ugly ass Niyah.

??: Dude , that's just rude.

I looked at Niyah and laughed. London pushed Niyah to the floor and ran over to Zoe engaging her in a hug. Her ole manly ass pull her off my lap. I laughed at my own thought making Niayh look ate weirdly.

Niyah: What?

Me: Londons very manly.

I laughed again making London hit me.

I laughed and mumbled it making her hit me again. Zoe chimed in and hit me too.

She gasped while laughing and pushed me down to the ground. I pulled her down by her leg , which she brung London down with her. We all were laughing.

Zoe: I'm glad I met yall.

Niyah: We're glad we met yall too.

Zoe spotted my laptop and grabbed it. She laid beside me on the floor taking my charger from the wall. She grabbed my phone from my pocket and connected the phone to the computer.
