12
I hear the wails of others,
Chained down to stones,
Of the wrongs, they have done,
As I sail these dark seas.
They're just out of sight,
Below the surface,
I dare not try,
To save them,
Because I heard what the crow had to say.
They were wise words of the bright moon,
That watches over these seas.
"Don't look into the depths.
Don't attempt to save these poor souls.
Or you will be among them."
Said the flying crow.
"Listen to their screams and cries,
For wisdom unknown,
Unknown to all and known by none."
So I sail these deadly seas,
For wisdom, that might be gained.
So I give unto others,
What parts they need.
Knowing I could never succeed,
Because only legends could.
I'll likely to die but on the sea,
My life would be complete.
It's a chance that drew me here,
And that same chance keeps me from turning back.
Drives me forward to lands unseen,
And I couldn't find my way back home,
Even if I tried
It's a deadly sea.
