This ever existent wave,
From the surrounding ocean,
Deep and dark,
Tosses me and my boat,
To and fro,
And laps on to the deck,
Threatening to swallow me whole.
Never again seen.
To sink forever,
Hoping one day I'll hit rock bottom.
