"Chapter 6; Maleficent makes an entrance (Part 1)."
Trigger Warnings: child abuse, spit mention, suicide plans, swearing, etc.
Sorry it's a short chapter.
Also should I give the characters breaks so they can converse with one another or not?

(Maleficent makes her entrance).
The entire royal family of Auroria immediately flinched at the sight of Mal's mother.
Leah and Stefan because they remembered the long sixteen years they had without their daughter.
Philip because of the scar he had on his arm from the battle.
Aurora because of the sixteen years of near isolation.
And Ariana, Audrey, and Ariana's parents because of all the stories they had grown up hearing.
The older citizens of Auroria weren't much better.
(Maleficent makes her entrance).
"How does that make it better?" Jane asked, baffled. Feeling slightly uncomfortable at the desperate look on Mal's face-one she herself had sprouted more times than she liked to think of.
Was Mal like her? Desperate for her mother's approval?
"The more evil the deed, the prouder our parents are." was all Mal said, shrugging.
Feeling nauseous as she looked at her fr-crew. All of them getting more and more nervous as the moments ticked by.
Any minute now, their cover would be blown and they'd be booted back to the isle-and they'd be grounded for life. Or dead.
They needed a new plan and they needed one fast.
Harry scoffed "Stealing candy from a baby is your idea of evil? I've seen Mystery do eviler shit than that."
That made more than a few people nervous.
"Uh? Who's Mystery?"
Harry held up a turtle in his hand. "Him."
The turtle stared at the person who asked, menacingly.
"..."
"It can throw nunchucks," Eddie added, downing his sixth slurpee in the past hour. His lips were stained blue at this point. It didn't help their case.
No one in the room was taking them seriously at this point.
"Hey mom, isn't that-"
The tween's terrified mother shushed him. Not wanting to catch the turtle's attention.
(Maleficent makes her entrance).
"I didn't spit on it!" Mal protested immediately at the dark looks the LeGumes shot at her.
They said nothing. All while those from Auradon grimaced.
"Ew..."
(Maleficent makes her entrance).
Hadie frowned and made a face at the comment, not liking how his sister was able to finish Maleficent's sentence or the annoyed look that was on her face because of it.
He moved from his spot near the Smee twins to go and sit on the floor by his sister, who said nothing.
Both ignoring the stares people who weren't in the know gave them.
(Maleficent makes her entrance).
"Ew. No."
"Who'd want to go to school in Auradon?"
"Can you imagine having to wear nothing but pastels?!"
"Hey, we don't all wear pastels!" Anxelin gripped, gesturing to herself, Arabella, and Marlon.
"The fact you have to gesture to the people who don't basically just proves you wrong."
"It does not!"
"Evie, you know you can make your own decisions, right?" Anthony asked, looking at his cousins' half-sister in concern.
Evie said nothing, gripping the arms of her chair tightly. Knowing what was coming.
(Maleficent makes her entrance).
Diego, Hunter, and Ivy groaned.
"Carlos, how many times do we have to tell you that your mom's full of shit?"
Carlos sputtered, gesturing to where Dude was sleeping in his lap. "I know that now!"
"How could she scare her own son like that?" Amber asked her aunt and uncle, furiously. Unable to take her eyes off of her old beauty pageant rival. Wondering what Cruella might have done to her all these years.
Ivy briefly met her eyes but quickly looked away, smiling at her old friend.
(Maleficent makes her entrance).
Many people snorted as Jay snuck up on Carlos.
Only to quickly look away when his older cousins swerved around to look at them.
(Maleficent's Plan).
The Auradonians gasped and shot the core four suspicious looks, wondering if they were really going to go through with it-but couldn't gauge anything since the four refused to look at them. But before anyone could say anything the words 'remember our warning' appeared in the air.
Not that the vks noticed.
Hunter de Vil started doing the symbol of the cross-looking about ready to have a heart attack.
"Hunter, we're polytheistic-"
"Shut up Diego, our cousin is going to die -"
"No the fuck he is not" Ivy cut in furiously "because he is not going to go through with this little suicide mission and neither are his friends."
"But Ivy-"
"No! I won't hear of it! I will not stand by and let that bitch lead you to your death like she's done with the rest of our family!"
"You know I don't have a choice-"
"Yes you do! The choice is to stay in Auradon where it's safe!"
"But-"
Clay suddenly spoke-once again ignoring everyone's protests. "Okay, I know we usually discount the fact I'm related to you since it's very distant but I'm ignoring that right now. As your older something-something cousin I stand with Ivy and forbid you from trying to steal that wand."
"You can't forbid me from anything-"
"If Carlos isn't stealing the wand, then Evie isn't either." One of the Tremaine cousins cut in, firmly. Glaring at the screen while the others dared anyone to argue.
It was Evie's turn to protest "Daphne!"
"No! You've always wanted to go to Auradon and you are not throwing your dream away for a stupid plan that's only gonna succeed in getting you killed!"
"Well, if they aren't doing it, then Jay sure as fuck isn't doing it-"
"Wait a minute, don't a get a say-"
Several voices rang out at once. All saying one thing. "NO!"
It was only then that Mal looked at Hadie, who was looking at her with big wide eyes. Lip quivering slightly.
She sighed "I'm guessing you don't want me to steal the wand, either?"
Hadie nodded quietly, not taking his eyes off her.
Mal raised her voice, making sure everyone could hear her. "Fine, fine. We won't steal the wand-"
She ignored the people coughing 'traitor' and wondered why she didn't seem to recognize the voices. She was sure Uma's lackeys or Uma herself would have been doing the same, but no, they seemed to be huddled together. Discussing something and paying everyone else no mind.
Which was, decidedly, not her problem.
Nor was the fact that the Auradonians were looking at them all thoughtfully and some, still suspiciously.
Nope. Definitely not her problem.
She had other things to worry about-like just what else these movies were gonna reveal.
