Narrator's POV

"Peter!"

Peter turned his head only to see his three closest friends running up to him.

"Oh, hey guys." He smiled at them.

"Are you okay? I heard you were in the hospital." Ned said.

"We wanted to come by, but we had a major project due the past week." Harry said.

"Alright, give him some space." Wade told the three to back up.

"Got yourself a body guard, huh?" Mj asked, looking up at Wade.

"No." Peter said. He looked up at Wade and gave him a small smile. "Wade's my-"

"Boyfriend?" Mj asked.

Peter's cheeks flushed red. Wade smiled down at Peter and took his hand.

"Yup." Wade said.

"I understand if you guys don't-"

"Peter." Harry said.

Peter looked at him.

"We always kinda knew."

"Did you?" Peter asked.

"It's kinda obvious, sooo....yeah." Mj said. "And, were okay with it." She said.

Peter looked up at Harry, who nodded and smiled at him.

"Thanks guys." Peter smiled.

"Whoa! Is that a prosthetic hand?" Ned asked as he caught a glance at Peter's hand sticking out of his jacket sleeve.

"Um...yeah." Peter said, introducing his hand to them. "It's my whole arm actually." He said, rolling up his sleeve.

"What? No way." Ned observed.

"What happened to your arm?" Harry asked.

"I..." Peter looked up at Wade, who gave him a soft smile. "I don't really like to talk about it."

"I understand." Harry told him, backing down.

"Cool." Mj simply answered.

"It's awesome!" Ned said. "Can you lift heavy things? Shoot lasers? Can it help you fly?"

"Alright, SuperDork." Mj laughed, pulling Ned away. "We gotta get to class. See ya later, Pete."

"Later." Peter wave at them before walking away with Wade.

"Tony." Stephen called from upstairs.

"Yeah?" Peter called from down in his lab as he worked on a new piece of his suit.

"I'm going to pick up the kids." Stephen said.

"Okay." Tony said, pulling goggles over his eyes.

"I'll be back shortly."

"Mhm." Tony nodded as he began to weld away.

He heard a door shut as he continued to weld.

His head suddenly perked up. "Stephen wait!" He yelped.

It was already too late, Stephen was already gone.

"Friday."

Yes, boss?

"Where's Stephen?" He asked, taking the goggles off.

He just left the premises

"Dammit." Tony sighed.

Stephen was going to find out about Peter's arm and flip out.

"Friday make him take a route that is slower."

Rerouting...

"Contact Peter too."

Calling Peter...

Tony paced around the garage, waiting for Peter to pick up.

Call failed X

"I forgot. Peter's actually a good student and keeps his phone off during the school day." Tony said. "What about Stephen? Where is he now?"

Dr. Strange is stuck in traffic. A twenty minute wait is expected

"That's good. We only have ten minutes till Peter gets out of school. Call him when the bell rings."

Yes sir

"Thank you." Tony said.

Anything else I can do for you, sir?

"No. Not at the moment. Thank you."

My pleasure

"Friday."

Yes boss?

"Has Peter called yet?" Tony asked, sitting up from his chair with a newspaper.

He was sitting outside, enjoying the sounds of nature and gentle breeze.

Peter has not called

He set the paper down on his lap. "Why hasn't he called? Where's Stephen now?"

"Right here."

Tony turned to his side to see a portal open. Stephen, Peter, Oliver and Wade came through.

"Welcome home family." Tony said.

"Hey Iron Dad." Peter said.

"Papa, hi!" Oliver said, throwing his backpack onto the porch and running into the house.

"Get back here you." Wade raced after him.

"Wade, he's just kid!" Peter laughed, following them.

Stephen stood in front of Tony with his arms crossed.

"Hello, love." Tony said, smiling nervously. "How did the kids do today?"

"You know, I would know if I didn't have to wait twenty minutes in traffic." Stephen said.

"Twenty?" Tony asked. "Was it that bad?"

"I don't know, ask Friday." Stephen said.

Yes, Dr. Strange?

"I...um..." Tony laughed nervously.

Stephen pinned him down in the chair with a red aurora.

"Okay, alright. Baby, honey..." Tony groaned as the pressure on him increased. "Calm down, Stephen. We can talk about this."

"Do you think I-"

"Iron Dad." Peter's voice made its way to the door.

Stephen let go of Tony.

Peter came out of the door, showing his new arm.

"It stopped wo-um..." He paused when he saw Stephen. "Oh, hi Dr. Dad."

Stephen looked Tony, who was looking at Peter. His left eye twitched.

"We will discuss this later." Stephen said, taking Oliver's backpack and walking in the house.

Tony looked at Peter who held up a screwdriver.

"Help?" Peter chuckled nervously.

"Stephen?" Tony asked, as he popped his head out of the bathroom.

His husband was sitting up against the headboard of the bed, reading quietly.

Tony had just gotten out of the shower. He was dressed in his pajama bottoms and nothing more as he made his way to the bed. His hair was still a little wet.

"Stephen, are you still mad?" He asked.

Stephen didn't reply.

"Look. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier. It's just that I didn't want to worry you more-"

"I'm not mad that Peter has a metal arm or the fact that you made Friday make me wait twenty minutes in traffic. I'm mad about the fact that you lied to me, but not only lied to me, tried to hide it from me." Stephen said. "I would never be mad about Peter's situation. I knew what the consequences to Peter's doing during the fight were. And you know what? I'm happy that you went out of your way and made something for him that would make him feel a little bit like his normal self, but you didn't have to keep it from me. You could have told me." Stephen said.

Tony sighed. "I'm sorry, honey. I just get too caught up in my thoughts. I just thought maybe you wouldn't agree with it because I know how you are. Self healing and believing. The "I don't need special help to help me get better" type of guy."

Stephen looked at him. "Tony. I think what you did for Peter is a wonderful thing."

Tony looked at him. "You do?"

"Yes. I do." Stephen smiled. "You made him feel like himself again. He's happy and smiling and jumping around. That was really father-like of you to do."

Tony smiled. "Oh, Stephen. You always know what to say." He leaned down to kiss his husband.

"Of course. I'm your husband." Stephen smiled before they connected their lips.

That kiss silenced the night.
