Loud and Proud

Narrator's POV

"So, Wade plays football or something?" Tony asked as he made his way in between people sitting in the stands.

"No, you goof. Excuse me." Stephen said as he squeezed on by. "We're watching Oliver play. He said Mr. Davis finally let him play."

"So you're telling me, we showed up like two quarters early to watch him play when we could've just come during half time?" Tony asked.

"Yes. I didn't want to risk getting here late." Stephen said.

"You're a wizard! You can open a portal here on time." Tony said.

"I didn't want to draw attention." Stephen said. "I'd be ruining their performance."

"Stephen, I doubt anyone really cares that you walked through a portal." Tony said. "There's weirder things to see in New York. It's not that special."

"So I'm not special?" Stephen asked.

"No honey. That's not what I meant." Tony said.

"No. Don't touch me." Stephen said, turning his back to Tony, holding his hand.

"Hey dads." Peter said, approaching with Wade.

"Hm." Stephen sighed.

"Are they okay?" Wade asked as neither of the adults said a word.

"They probably had a fight." Peter said.

"They're still holding hands?" Wade said.

"Yeah, they get sad when they fight." Peter explained.

"Ah." Wade nodded.

"Anyway, Dr. Dad will you open a portal to the-"

"Sorry, looks like you're gonna have to walk. According to someone my portals aren't that special." Stephen said.

Peter looked at Tony.

"I didn't mean it like that, and your know it." Tony turned to Stephen.

"You made it seem like you did." Stephen said turning to him.

"Why would I say that?"

"Because you know I'm sensitive." Stephen said.

"You make jokes about my height all the time." Tony said.

"But I always apologize and tell you that it's cute anyway." Stephen told him.

"Now kiss."

They looked up at Wade.

"Yeah, I meant to say that out aloud." Wade said. "Now, come on Peter. Looks like we're walkin'." Wade took Peter by the hand.

"We'll be back!" Peter said.

Stephen looked at Tony. "Now kiss me and apologize, you idiot."

"I don't have to apologize for anything." Tony said.

"You literally insul-" Stephen stopped when he heard drums begin to play. He looked out at the stadium and saw the band coming out in their uniforms. "Oh my gosh. Tony." He looked around, feeling his pockets. "Where's my phone? Where's yours?"

"Hm? For wh-"

Stephen slapped his cheek. "Give me your phone. It's happening. He's doing it." He said, searching Tony's pockets, taking his phone and opening the camera. He began recording.

Tony looked out on the field where the band was playing. He spotted Oliver. "Aww, look how cute he looked in his uniform." He said.

The flute section started playing only for a while.

"He's getting his own solo." Stephen smiled.

A few more halftime minutes later and million videos and pictures later, the band had finally come off the field.

"My baby's all grown up." Stephen said. "I'm so happy."

Tony smiled at him, holding him close.

"My heart is so happy." Stephen said, leaning on Tony's shoulder.

"Daddy! Did you see me? Did you see me?" Oliver said, coming up the stands.

"I saw you the whole thing Ollie." Stephen said, getting up and running over Oliver.

Oliver jumped in his arms.

They embraced each other.

Tony smiled, watching the two for a moment before getting up and walking up to the two.

"Mr. Davis said I was awesome! He liked it." Oliver said.

"You sounded amazing." Stephen said.

"Papa, did you see me?" Oliver asked as Tony approached them.

"You totally rocked out there dude." Tony said.

"I was so nervous the first few minutes." Oliver said. "I had so many butterflies in my tummy, but then I gained all this confidence out of nowhere. Then I really felt the music in me and had so much fun out there." Oliver smiled.

"I'm so glad." Stephen said.

Peter and Wade made their way up the stands toward their parents and Oliver.

"Peter, did you see me play?" Oliver asked.

"I did!" Peter said. "We watched from that side of the stadium. You're really talented with that flute."

"Yeah. You were awesome out there." Wade said, bringing out a fist for Oliver to bump.

Oliver bumped his fist. "Thanks."

"Do you have to stay for the rest of the game?" Stephen asked.

"No. Mr. Davis said he doesn't want me to stay that long because I'm just eleven, and I need my sleep." Oliver said, rolling his eyes.

"Well, that's a pro for us." Tony said. "I'm quite hungry. Who's up for a cheeseburger?"

"Me!" Peter said, raising his hand.

"Why not?" Wade shrugged.

Oliver looked at Stephen. "Can I split one with you?" He asked.

The two had a much more greener and healthier diet than anyone else in their household, so they weren't all that interested in fast/junk food.

Stephen smiled at him. "Of course."

"To the SF Mobile!" Tony said.

""SF"?" Stephen raised a brow.

"Supreme Family." Tony said.

Stephen shook his head. "You're a dork who spends most of his time in our basement making toys." He smiled.

"Yup, but you married this dork." Tony said lifting his hand with his ring.

"And I don't regret it at all." Stephen said, kissing Tony on the cheek.

"Aww." Peter said.

"Can you two go eat each other's faces after we go eat?" Wade asked. "I'm starving."

Stephen laughed, blushing a little in shyness and embarrassment.

"Alright Wilson, you just earned yourself a ride in the trunk of the SF Mobile." Tony said.

"Okay." Wade said. "It's not like it's the first time I've ridden in the trunk of a car."

Everyone looked at him.

"Oh, right. I mean, no please don't. I'll be good, I promise." Wade said. He looked at Peter. "Did I do it right?"

"Peter, are you sure this is the one you want?" Tony whispered.

"One thousand times yes." Peter said, jumping on Wade's back. "To the SF Mobile!"

"Ready for take off in three, two, one! Go!" Wade said, running to the car with Peter on his back.
