Now, the Daniels are in the backstage. Since the lyrics were already prepared during lunchtime, there’s a lot more time for them to prepare and produce the melody. It took around 2 hours before Ray and Rhea finished the melodic production. The two taught Diona and Ralpha the melody and after 1 hour, they finally got it. So there’s still 1 hour left before they come next.

During that process, the band called “The Super Band” came first. They sounded like they were singing a song about achieving their dreams and goals. Next came the Dazzles. “Ohs” and “Ahs” were added to the lyrics of the song and whatever kind of voice they have must’ve sounded like sirens. Unfortunately, the Daniels couldn’t recall anything about the song. All they know is that the title of the song is “Shining Gems.”

Then, there came a final run-through. Five minutes before the D-Tribe came next. So far, all is well as planned. With all the practice they made, no mistake has been made. Well, we all know that we make mistakes and we’re all human, but when you persevere and balance yourself between practice and motivation, you’ll find yourself being a natural at something.

After about three minutes, they’re finally ready to perform. Two minutes passed and minds were cleared. Their heads shifted to the megaphone-like speaker when they heard Matthew call their band name.

“The last band we’re gonna see them perform is the inspiring, encouraging and valuable family band. The D-Tribe.”

You could hear the audience cheering loudly. The D-Tribe turned to each other. Ray, Diona and Ralpha seemed to have smiles on their faces while Rhea was more like a slight smirk.

“Okay, let’s do it,” Ray said to his family.

“Yup. Let’s do it,” Rhea replied.

With that, the Daniels walked their way onstage, with Ray’s guitar strap wrapped around him and his hands on his guitar. The microphone was still held in Diona’s right hand. The keyboard and the drum set were set up onstage by the employees.

After the whole stage was set up, Ray reached for the microphone again. "The song that we're going to sing is 'A Better Place.'"

The judges nodded with smiles on their faces. With that, their eyes were on the D-Tribe as they listened to their performance.

This song started with a few keys on the keyboard with the vocalization from the whole D-Tribe immediately joining in.

Ohhhhhhhhhh...

Next came the strumming of the guitar along with the moderate melody from the keyboard and the whole note beats from the drums. At that moment, Ray’s singing voice immediately joined in.

The music started rising up to the chorus. But the chorus music was leveled between the moderate level and the climax level. At this moment, everyone in the D-Tribe let their singing voices out of their mouths.

The music slowly went back to the same melody for the first verse. After a few instrumentals, it was Diona’s turn to sing.

There are times when stage fright takes over
And you're afraid to show your specialty
There are times when you get stressed and give up
Because you don't know how to do your thing

Again, the music is rising up to the chorus. But this one was not the exact same level as when they first sang the chorus. This time, the level of the chorus melody was two steps closer before the insane climax of the melody. In the middle of the chorus, it became one step closer to the insane climax. During that, everyone in the D-Tribe was singing.

As the song went on, the judges’ lips slightly stretched out smiles on their faces. A weird feeling started to build up inside of Rhea, but she mentally brushed it off and focused on her written keyboard melodies and notes.

As the D-Tribe sang the chorus again, the nearly insane climax melody was pumped up into one more level beyond the insane climax level.

As the melody faded into dead silence, everyone — especially their friends cheered in amazement. Ralpha and Rhea stood from their chairs. The D-Tribe gave a slight bow to the audience before exiting the stage, with the keyboard and drumset being carried by the employees.

Later on, all three bands — the Super Band, the Dazzles and the D-Tribe — were called onstage by one of the bodyguards. The Daniels knew what it means: it’s time for the results!

Nervousness started building up inside of the Daniels, but Rhea was the one being nervous the most. They could see that the Super Band consisted of two boys and two girls. Each one of them wore different superhero costumes. That’s where the band came from.

The first boy happened to be a bass player. He had fair skin, black straight hair and he was wearing red Zorro mask, long-sleeved shirt, yellow ¾ sleeve gloves, yellow utility belt, blue pants and navy blue boots. There was a logo in the middle of his shirt. It’s similar to the Superman logo, except that its outline was yellow and instead of the letter “S,” two letter “Bs” were added in the logo.

The second boy was younger than the first boy. He had fair skin, but his tone was a bit darker than the first boy. He also had black hair. His outfit has the same color and style as the Robin supersuit, except for one thing. The logo was almost the same as the Robin logo, except that letters “D” and “R” were in the logo instead of a single “R.”

The first girl happened to be a young lady. She had the same skin tone as the second boy and dark brown hair. She was wearing purple Zorro mask with matching cape and utility belt. She also wore pink shirt, violet leggings and matching boots. There was a purple guitar logo with a star behind it. It was located at the center of her shirt.

The second girl was younger than the first girl. She had fair skin like the first boy and also has dark brown hair. She was wearing the same outfit as the first girl, except that her Zorro mask, cape and utility belt were hot pink. Her leggings and boots were magenta and there was a microphone logo with three yellow stars at the bottom.

Matthew was in the exact same spot as the part where the Elimination Round results came in.

“Alright, folks. Are you ready to find out who will be moving to the finals?” Matthew asked the audience.

The crowd was erupted with loud, crazy and wild cheers.

“Okay.”

The crowd died down.

“The first band that will be moving to the finals is…” Matthew turned his attention to the first band he was going to name. On his left. “…the Dazzles!”

Of course, the Dazzles are going to be in the Finals, Rhea thought.

Cheers were heard from the audience as Rhea turned to the female trio themselves. Saphne was seen blowing a kiss in the audience’s direction. Jewel and Ruby were making eye contact with Rhea. Giggles of evilness came out of their mouths.

Nervousness continued building up inside of Rhea as her eyebrows furrowed and rolled her eyes. She turned back to the audience. As she did so, she heard the first sentence from Matthew.

“And now for the second band.” There was a pause for a moment, then another sentence came in. “The second band that will be moving on to the Finals… is…”

Nervousness continued to build up inside the Daniels. This time, they were a few steps closer to being in panic mode. Then, after about five seconds, the name of the band was heard.

“…the Super Band!”

As Matthew said this, he turned to his left once again. But the Daniels were on his right. Their hopes were shattered. What could they possibly do to go wrong?
