The sound of the alarm rang in Ray's ears. This time, the first thing he would do is to stretch out his body a bit. Then, he rose into a sitting position. His hand moves across his sleepy eyes to his right, but not too much. When his misty, teary vision turned into a clear one, his body moved to the right side of his bed. Then, his feet landed on the ground.

Beside Ray's bed was a small cabinet. Ontop of it was his own Samsung A15 mobile phone. It mostly has a black screen and a silver phone case covering it at the back. On the screen you can see white words at the center. At the bottom is the area where you choose to swipe to stop the alarm or swipe to snooze. Right now, the time is read as "6:00am."
Ray reaches to his phone and grabs it. Then, his hand swiped it to the right. Up to the alarm clock symbol. Then, the alarm stopped.

Ray rises into his standing position and stretched out his body.

The next thing Ray would do is to go downstairs to the ground floor. Then, he went outside the house in the terrace. He did the same exercise as he did when he was around eighteen years old. He inhaled and exhaled ten times before he did the warm-up exercise. From the head rotation to his ankle rotation. After that, he inhaled and exhaled for another ten times. Then, he got to the dark gray, rectangular exercise mat.

Now, some of you may know that Ray did five pushups when he was eighteen. This time, he did ten pushups. This was to strengthen his body and help him be prepared to defend himself and fight back when an opponent attacks him. After doing ten pushups, he stood up inhaling and exhaling for another ten times. This breathing he was doing was to cool himself down from his daily workout routine.

After cooling himself down, he went back inside.
Ray walked his way towards the dining room, where breakfast is served and cooked by his beloved wife. Diona Daniels. It was served with overcooked Sunnyside up egg with friend rice. Beside trhe plate was a glass of cold water. Ray turned to Diona on his left where the kitchen was. He smiled at her in acknowledgement.

"Thank you, baby," he said to her.

A blush crept up to Diona's cheeks as her lips stretched out a warm, grateful smile. "You're welcome."

Ray prayed to God and give Him thanks for the food before he started eating breakfast.

Somewhere in the other room was a double-decker bed. And in this bed were Ray and Diona's two children.

At the bottom deck was Ralpha. Danny Ralpha Pangilin Daniels. He was wearing a blue T-Rex shirt and green Milo-based shorts. He was currently asleep.

On the upper deck was Rhea. Rhea Denisa Pangilin Daniels. She was wearing the light blue Batgirl shirt, given to her by Johnnie Apoglin when she was in Grade 5. On the right was Batgirl herself. This Batgirl was from one of the movies she and her family watched on TV. The Lego Batman Movie. Beside her were the words "Saving the World." They are printed in yellow color.

Unlike her dad, who woke up by alarm, Rhea just... woke up. Her eyes fluttered open and all she could hear was silence. Her fingers moved across her eyes to help her eyes see clearer. Then, the next thing she would do was to stretch out her body before rising onto her sitting position.

Rhea waited for a few moments before she went down the ladder. After just about two steps, her feet jumped off and they landed on the ground. She stretched out her body once more before she headed to grab her hot pink comb. Then she headed out to the terrace. To comb her messy hair.

But first...

Rhea walked to the merged kitchen-and-dining room to greet her parents good morning. As soon as she saw her mom cooking breakfast for her children and her dad eating breakfast, her lips stretched out a mix between a smile and a slight smirk.

"Mornin', mom. Mornin', dad," she said to them.

"Good morning," Ray said.

"Good morning, Rhea," Diona greeted with a warm and loving tone in her voice.

With that, Rhea walked to the terrace, then down the stairs. After two steps, her feet were now on the stone ground. You can hear nothing until the sound of the grass flowed in your ears.

Rhea was walking to the right and stopped at the right side of the staircase. She combed her hair, going from left to right. She started from the bottom part, then going up to the really last part, which was located almost at the top of her forehead.

After Rhea combed her hair, she put the comb back where she got it, so that she won't end up panicking while looking for it later on. Rhea had got the comb from the top of her own closet right before she went to the terrace.

After Rhea put the comb back, she went out again. This time, she's going to do her own exercise routine.

Rhea inhaled and exhaled ten times. To get some fresh air. Then, she did the warm-up exercise from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. After the warm-up, she inhaled and exhaled for another ten times. To give her some rest.

After that, Rhea walked to the same exercise mat Ray was using and did five pushups. Then, she rose onto her standing position. She inhaled and exhaled for another ten times. To cool herself down.

Once she's done with the exercise routine, Rhea walked back inside.

Rhea was seen walking by the dining room. Her dad was nowhere to be found, but she could see her mom serving her and Ralpha breakfast.

I guess dad is off to take a bath, Rhea thought.

Rhea walked her way towards her usual spot around the dining table. In her usual spot, Ralpha's was ahead of her. On her right were Ray and Diona. In Diona's perspective, Ray was beside her on her right and Rhea was on her left.

Rhea's breakfast was served with a bowl of oatmeal. A regular oatmeal mixed with Milo chocolate milk powder. Other than that, there's a spoon in the bowl, with the handle being exposed and having no contact with oatmeal. On the northeast side of the bowl was a Minnie Mouse mug of warm water.

Rhea silently prayed to God and gave Him thanks for the food before she started eating.

A few minutes later, Ralpha came in and greeted Diona good morning. He sat on his usual spot. He had a grin on his face. You can see how his tongue was licking his upper lips. From his left to right. He was served with his favorite breakfast. Sunnyside up egg with rice. Beside the plate was a blue plastic cup of warm water.

As usual, he turned to Diona and asked her, "Mommy, can I pray?"

"Yes, Ralpha. You can," she answered.

"Okay." Ralpha folded his hands, his elbows on the table. He closed his eyes and prayed his usual prayer. "Father God, thank you for this food. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

This made Rhea and Diona chuckle with a hint of laughter. Sometimes, he'd do that every after meal. But most of the time, it was Rhea who would lead the prayer every before meal.

As soon as Ralpha's prayer is done, he started eating as well.

Meanwhile with Ray, after he was done taking a bath, he dressed himself up as an employee in Yokohama Atlantic Bay. He had brushed his teeth before he took a bath.

After a few adjustments on himself, Ray was now ready to go to work. But first... he had to say goodbye to his family. He walked his way towards the dining room to bid his goodbyes to them. You can see Diona heating up water for Ralpha's bathing time. After Ray bid his goodbyes, he did the same to Diona. This time, he ended it with himself, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Both Ralpha and Rhea averted their gaze after they saw how their father was about to do that.

Ray headed over to retrieve the car keys in the key bowl near the entrance door. Then, he went outside to the garage. There, he entered his red Vios car and sat on the driver's seat. The key entered the key hole beside the steering wheel.

Ray turned it to the right and the engine started. He put his seatbelt on before he drove off to Yokohama Atlantic Bay.

Back with Rhea, after she's done brushing her teeth, Diona was done giving Ralpha a bath. Now, it's her turn. After taking a bath, she was dressed up in her freestyle homeschool uniform. She was wearing her white shirt with denim pants. For her footwear, she was wearing gray inside slippers. For Ralpha, he had the same outfit as Rhea, but a bit smaller to fit his body better. The only difference is his green inside slippers with black straps. As for Diona, she was wearing black shirt, blue jeans and yellow inside slippers with black straps.

Rhea's ID necklace was wrapped around her neck and it laid up until her stomach. Same goes with Ralpha's. Rhea's school bag is actually the school bag she used when she was in Grade 6. Her light blue and hot pink Jansport Frozen backpack. On the upper part, the only character you see is Elsa while the front pocket involves the Frozen logo, but it's maroon instead of icy blue. As for Ralpha's school bag, it was a navy blue and black Jansport Cars backpack.

After a few adjustments and preparing their school supplies in their own school bags, Rhea and Ralpha are now ready to start homeschooling. Right now, it was 7:30am. Even so, the two siblings and Diona headed towards the Master Bedroom where homeschooling is held. But they had to wait for thirty minutes because homeschooling starts at 8am.

After thirty minutes, it's time for homeschooling to start.

Later on, after their homeschooling lessons ended, Rhea and Ralpha did some homework left for them. After they're done with their homework, they rested.

Later that night, Ray came home from work. He washed himself up before changing into his house clothes.

Soon after, it's dinner time.

They were served with Ray's favorite food. Pork Soup. It's quite similar to adobo, but with a few different elements added.

The Daniels folded their hands, closed their eyes and prayed to God. As usual, it was Rhea who led the prayer.

"Lord, thank you for this dinner. Thank you for the food we eat. Bless this food that will strengthen and nourish us. Lord, thank you for everything. And this we pray. In Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen."

"Amen," the rest of the Daniels said.

With that, they opened their eyes and started eating. During dinner, they talked about things like how Rhea and Ralpha were doing in homeschooling and the lesson Ray wanted to teach his children about managing money.

One of the things they talked about... was some kind of audition held at Cru Point. It's called "The Battle of the Bands." The winner will win a cash prize of one million pesos. It was Rhea who talked about it as she heard something like this in the radio when she was resting.

"I was wondering if we could join in. If we win, it'll be a better way for you to manage some money. Although, I'm thinking of going to Reseda and meet Daniel LaRusso and his family in person," Rhea said, smiling. "Plus, I'm curious to know what it's like to meet Robby in person."

Robby Keene. He was one of the people she'd heard from her dad. Ray's best friend and texting pal, Daniel LaRusso passed the information about Robby to him, then Ray passed the information to the rest of his family. Starting with Diona, then Rhea, then Ralpha.

Upon hearing that Robby had a rough life, Rhea felt like she wanted to meet him, whether online or in person - well, most especially in person - so that she could welcome him with open arms. Somehow, she found herself curious to feel and know what it's like to meet him in person.

"Don't forget the Punzalo family!" Ralpha said.

"Says the guy who's excited about playing with Silvia," Rhea said to her little brother, smirking teasingly.

Laughter escaped from Ray and Diona's mouth. Soon, Rhea joined in the laughter.

Ralpha turned and shot glaring daggers at Rhea. His cheeks were flushed red as he did so. "Hey! You do know I'm too young for this, right?"

"Yeah, I know. I'm just messing with you," Rhea said. She was seen covering her mouth to prevent herself from laughing.

Once laughter died down, Rhea continued, "Anyways, can we join?"

After a few moments of silence, Ray asks her a question, "When is the contest?"

It took less than a moment before Rhea answered his question. "If I'm not mistaken, I think the auditions for the contest will start from Monday to Thursday. June 25-28. And the official contest will start on Friday. June 29."

More silence.

This got Rhea concerned about the answer her dad was going to say. She could she his head down, to which she suspects that he's in deep thought.

After a while, the only answer Rhea could hear was "I'll think about it."
