The motorcar pulled up to the palace . Rey looked out the window and saw a beautiful palace covered in white snow . The gold and green showing near windows.

The door opened a gloved hand was out for Rey to take. She grabbed it softly and pulled the brown wool coat she had on around her to brace the winter.

"Mademoiselle Kenobi ... welcome to the Winter Palace..." a young man said . "How are -"

"Hush " Ren said walking over . "She will be Grand Duchess Ren soon, respect her ... and don't make small talk" he said grabbing Rey's arm and pulling her along.

"Let me go !" She yanked her arm from his grasp. "I agreed to marry you not take on the title of grand duchess !"

"You're truly impossible " he groaned "I'm the grand duke ... Snoke is our emperor and if and when he passes on the crown will go to me , making your empress and then our children with the grand dukes and duchesses"

"But your not Snoke's son " she said "in all honest the crown should go back to the Skywalkers... or even the Palptines ... not the Ren... in fact I've never heard of your family before -"

"My family is not important... Snoke never had children of his own and he took me as his apprentice ..." he said and then the doors opened .

Rey's eyes darted to the inside of the palace in front of her . Gold all over and fine artwork on the walls .

Cherubs painted on the ceiling . "My word" she gasped covering her mouth with her hand .

"Come come ... Emperor Snoke wants to meet you" he said grabbing her arm once more and pulling her along to the throne room.

The doors opened and Rey and Ren walked in . She saw an older man, bald and sickly looking.

"And this is our Grand Duchess to be?" He asked stepping out of his throne , using a cane to limp to her .
"Quite a beauty ... far better than Bianca " he said and then grasped Rey's chin and pulled it to meet his face . "And she's young ... child bearing hips .... plenty of sons " he said and put his hand on her waist .

"She can read as well ... right and apparently knows how to deal with money " Ren said .

"Better than Lucida" Snoke smiled.

"Palptine sir ... Palptine and Kenobi " Ren said to the man.

"Better breeding than Noanna ..." he then limped back to his throne .

"Your majesty... we would like to ask for your blessing in our union ... so the country could have a fine young duchess and later empress when god forbid you pass ... she will bare many children and we shall stay in power ... preventing Skywalker from coming back" Ren said and bent down on knees in front of the older man . He tugged Rey's arm and she kneeled as well.

"I give my blessing... the wedding will be on Sunday... we will began preparation soon... come here Mademoiselle Kenobi" he motioned for the girl to come.

Rey stood up and walked to the wrinkled man . "I expect plenty of heirs " he said .

"Of course your majesty" she bowed.

"Very well... leave now" he shooed her off and she left the throne room.
