The next day, Via woke up in her room, but she didn't get out of bed right away. She laid on her back looking up at the ceiling thinking about yesterday's events. 0 was still horrified by what she saw and was now afraid to go outside as she didn't want the company finding her and hurting her friends. Thanks to Amanda's efforts Bob survived and was currently in the hospital having the blood he lost replaced and waiting to get a robotic arm. Via then sat up on her bed and got out her phone and began texting her friends.

Via: Hey guys how are you all doing?

Jerry: Eh I could be doing better after yesterday.

Callie: Yeah I feel bad for 0 she's so scared.

Amanda: Well yeah she's scared, that corrupt company will kill her when they get her.

Tom: Yeah I'd be scared if I was in her position.

Via: But we need to do what we can for her as she's our friend.

Callie: Via's right we need to do what we can do to help her.

Tom: Man Callie you seem to care about her more than the rest of us. Not that it's a bad thing I'm just saying.

Callie: I know, but I feel really bad, like what if she was human at one point after all the company that made her was turning Via into a bot.

Amanda:... that could be the case and if it is, then we've got a serious problem on our hands.

Jerry: Agh why is this company doing this? I mean Via's just a kid and should be allowed to stay as human.

Tom: I agree with you there Jerry.

Via: Yeah and I don't remember my life thanks to them. We need to figure out who they are and why they're turning humans into bots.

Amanda: Yeah we do... hey guys I gotta go my grandfather is calling me and I think he wants to do another meditation session.

Callie: Okay have fun Amanda.

Via: Oh and everyone meet me at the game station tonight at lunch. Jerry, tell your father to bring 0 as this will be a Gamer Ero meeting.

Everyone: Okay see you then.

Everyone then left the chat and Via got up to start up her day and thankfully she remembered her morning routine.

At the Police station, the Chief was looking into 0's room and saw that she was under her bed cover trembling in fear.

*Sigh* It was just like how Jessica reacted when something scary happened to her," the Chief said sadly as he remembered his daughter. "MOMMY DADDY!" A little girl's voice cried out in his memory.

"Ugh Jessica's calling us dear," the chief's wife said as he recalled.

"You keep on resting dear I'll go check on her," the chief replied.

"Okay thank you Marco," his wife said and went back to sleep.

Marco then got up and went to Jessica's room to see what was wrong. When he got there he saw that Jessica had the blanket completely covering her.

"Jessica dear, are you okay?" Marco asked.

"N-no *sniff* I had a nightmare," Jessica explained while crying.

"Oh Jess what happened?" Marco asked.

"I-I dreamt that some scary men took me away, killed mommy and left you thinking I was dead... sniff... I don't want to be away from you or mommy," Jessica said before breaking out in tears.

"Oh Jessica, that won't happen. I'll always be here for you and I won't allow anyone to bring harm to you or your mother," Marco reassured his daughter as he pulled her into a loving hug.

"D-daddy can I sleep with you and Mommy tonight?" Jessica asked, still shaken from the nightmare.

"Of course you can, dear. Come-on let's go." Marco said before picking up Jessica and taking her into his room.

Back in the present, Marco then felt someone tapping on his shoulder and when he looked he saw Jerry's father standing next to him with some oil.

"Hey chief, I brought 0 her daily oil," Jerry's father said.

"Thanks Leo, you know what I'll bring it to her, you just keep on with Via's kidnapping case," Marco said.

"Alright sir," Leo said before giving Marco the oil and going to continue on with his work. Marco then opened the door to 0's room and went inside the room. He went up to 0's bed and shook her shoulder getting her attention.

"O-Oh hey Chef how are you today?" 0 asked.

"I just came by to see how you were doing, and I brought you some oil," Marco said and handed the oil to 0.

"Thanks chef," 0 said and took the oil and began drinking it.

"You know, you remind me of my daughter 0," Marco said.

"I do? Who is she?" 0 asked.

"Her name was Jessica and she was just like you, funny, kind, sweet, and kind of oblivious," Marco explained.

"Um, what do you mean by was?" 0 asked, wondering about that.

"Well a few years ago both she and my wife were in a hover crash accident and they both lost their lives in that," Marco said sadly while looking down.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that," 0 said.

"... It's alright. It's not your fault; you know she would've been in college by now if she were still here," Marco said.

"Well I'm sorry about your loss Marco, but hey your daughter might be proud of you seeing how you're doing after her passing. Who knows she might even be happy knowing that you're doing what you can to help others," 0 said trying to cheer Marco up.

"I think so too... I need to get back to work now, so I'll see you later," Marco said, then got up and left the room.

0 laid down on her bed and thought over her and Marcos' conversation. 'Why does the name Jessica sound familiar to me?' 0 asked herself in her thoughts.

"Well that guy sees you as his daughter huh? That's sweet," 1 said.

"O-Oh hey 1-1. How has your day been?" 0 asked.

"Eh I'm stuck in a padded cell with my weapons disabled and I've got chains on me while you're living the life of luxury," 1 said in a bit of a jealous tone.

"I'm sorry, but it's not my call. Marco is the one making the calls and you haven't really earned the luxuries that I've got because of your bad behavior," 0 explained in a way that wouldn't make Marco sound biased.

"So If I want to go outside and get the things you have I just gotta behave myself?" 1 asked.

"Um yeah, but it might be longer for you considering what you did to both humans and bots," 0 said.

"Well I can understand that, but hey I'm willing to change for the better as I've started wondering why the company never tells us anything," 1 explained.

"Really?!" 0 asked excited and happy.

"Yeah and 0 have I ever mentioned that you look really pretty today?" 1 asked.

"O-oh y-you think I l-look pretty?" 0 asked.

"Yeah I've always admired you 0," 1 said while resting his head in his hand. 0's eyes widened with joy as she felt her core flurry with excitement as 1 seemed to like her as well as she never had anyone complement her like that before, especially the very bot she had a crush on. However for 1 he wanted to throw up by what he was saying as he wasn't attracted to 0 at all, but he knew it was his only chance to escape and allow 2 to get transferred into a new body.

At the main entrance of the station, an officer was sitting at the automatic virtual desk just playing a game on his VR hover phone with another officer who's in a different part of the station, till he heard the doors open. When he sat up he saw Jerry walking in with a box of donuts in one hand and a bag in the other.

"Oh hey Jerry junior what's up," the officer asked.

"I'm just here to talk to my dad, and mom asked me to bring him a fresh change of clothes due to how long he's been here for. I also thought I'd bring you all some donuts as there's a Dipin Donuts and Coffee on the way here," Jerry explained while putting the box on the counter.

"Oh thanks kid, and your pops is in his office you want me to call him up?" The officer asked.

"Sure I'd like that," Jerry said and stepped back. The officer then pressed a button that called up Jerry's father and he teleported into the room right in front of his son.

"Oh hey Junior how are you, your sister, and mother doing?" Jerry asked.

"We're all good dad, mom had me bring you a fresh change of clothes since you've been working lots of night shifts because of this case," Jerry Jr. said while pointing over to the bag that had the clothes in it.

"Well tell her I said thank you and that I'm sorry I've been away from home for so long, but ever since Via came back it's been crazy here," Jerry explained.

"Yeah I bet, but I'm just happy to have Via back. I missed her so much," Jerry Jr. explained.

"I know you are son, but we still need to find out who kidnapped her and her parents. That way others won't suffer the same fate, also we had a meeting with the boss of the CCE. Apparently his son went missing a year before Via disappeared. That's why he's looking into this mysterious company, he wants to know if they're responsible for his son's disappearance," Jerry explained.

"Oh I see, well I hope he finds out what happened to his son," Jerry Jr. added worried about the son.

"Me too boy, I don't know what I'd do if I lost you, or your sister," Jerry said while rubbing his son's shoulder.

"I know dad, oh and can 0 come out of her room today? Via is holding a meeting and she wants all The Gamer Pros there, and that includes 0," Jerry Jr. explained.

"Oh well because of what happened yesterday 0 is really spooked out, but I think she'll feel safer if an officer goes with her," Jerry suggested.

"As long as she's able to come with us I don't mind," Jerry Jr. said.

"Okay then I'll let her know that you guys want her and I'll have someone else come with her in case more goons from that company show up to destroy her," Jerry said before leaving the room.

Back in 0's room, 0 and 1 were talking when officer Jerry came into the room to talk to 0. "Hey 0 my son is here and he wants you to come with him," Jerry said.

"Um why?" 0 asked while looking at him and tilting her head.

"Well Via is holding a meeting and she wants her whole team to attend it, and don't worry we'll have someone accompany you while you're there so that way if anyone from your company tries to eliminate you they can be apprehended and arrested," Jerry explained.

"Oh really, well then I guess I can go to the meeting then," 0 responded joyfully.

"Hey why can't I leave my room as much as I want?!" 1 asked angrily.

"You know the reason 1. You're dangerous, you destroyed several of our guard bots and on top of that almost killed some of our agents, so you can't be trusted to leave," Jerry explained in a stern tone.

"Hph. Well if I'm such a danger why don't you tear my core out and destroy it? After all, it's the only thing keeping me online," 1 explained while crossing his arms.

"We would, but considering you possibly have useful information for us along with 0 begging us to keep you alive then you'll stay online for as long as we need you," Jerry explained very bluntly.

"But please don't kill him. I know 1 can change, maybe 2 didn't want to, but I know that 1 can be better like me!" 0 exclaimed while her tail was wagging like a dog's when it's happy.

"Yeah, but still 1 can't be trusted after what he did, but enough talk. Let's go 0. I don't think Via will appreciate those who are tardy to her little meeting," Jerry requested.

"Oh okay! I'll see you later 1!" 0 said joyfully and left the room.

"Hehe oh yes 0 I'll see you later, and it'll only be a matter of time till I'm able to bust out of here, kill you, and take Subject 783 back to base. Then 2 will get his body rebuilt and our team will be complete again, or it will be complete when Subject 784 is ready," 1 whispered to himself.

"Oh yes Subject 784 I almost forgot about him. He's been around for as long as Subject 783 and yet he has more robotic parts then 783," 2 said in 1's mind as no one aside from 1 could hear him currently while he was in this state.

"Yes, but I wonder how the company has been holding him up. After all he did seem to have affections towards Subject 783, so after she broke out of the faculty don't you think he'll try the same thing?" 1 asked quietly.

"Hmm it's possible, but I'm sure that after Subject 783's escape they'll be more careful with Subject 784," 2 reassured 1.

"I hope you're right 2, because subject 784 didn't have his memories wiped yet. The only reason Subject 783 had her memories wiped this early was because she learned too much so she had to lose her memories," 1 explained.

"Yeah but he doesn't know a scrap of what the company is doing. Hehe and he doesn't even know... that 0 used to be human herself before having her memories of her human life wiped clean. You and I were always robots hehehe HAHAHA!" 2 laughed maniacally as he thought over the company's actions and all their secrets.

At the Facility, Subject 784 was in his cell counting down the seconds waiting for the right moment for him to escape. 'You bastards had kept me away from my family for long enough, not to mention that you all broke my deal. If I remained cooperative then you all wouldn't bring any harm to Via, but after she learned something that she could use against you all and you gave her amnesia. So therefore you all broke the deal and therefore I'm not going to cooperate anymore. I'm busting out of here and going home, your little Hunter bots won't be able to catch me as one of them is dead and the other two were captured,' Subject 784 thought to himself.

Just then the doors to his cell opened and when he looked back he saw that it was Chris and some other guards. "Good Day Subject 784, now let's get you to your next surgery and after this you'll be updated on Subject 783 and you'll be allowed to meet her," Chris said sternly.

Subject 784 just slowly nodded his head pretending to still be oblivious to the truth that Subject 783 had escapade two weeks ago. "Okay, so what will I be getting now?" 784 asked.

"You'll see in the surgery room," Chris said and was about to put handcuffs on 784 before he was shocked with a stun gun and knocked out cold.

When the other men saw 784 had attacked Chris they tried to stop him, but 784 was too fast and he managed to knock all of them out and made his escape.

'Not sorry, I won't allow you all to hold me hostage here anymore! I'm leaving! Finding Via and going home or my name isn't Boris Lois!' Boris thought to himself.

Boris managed to hide from several guards with his clocking tech and soon managed to get outside. Just as he was about to take off a freaking bird decided to use the bathroom in mid air and its dropins fell right on his robotic arm which exposed him.

"WHAT THE HELL!" one of the guards screamed when he noticed the floating bird droppings.

Boris's clocking device then shut off and everyone saw him and they realized he was escaping.

"SUBJECT 784 IS ESCAPING GET HIM!" someone else screamed and everyone pounced on him.

"I GOT HIS FOOT!" one of the men screamed.

"I GOT HIS AMR!" another man hollered.

"I THINK I GOT HIM AROUND THE NECK!" another man declared.

"Okay on the count of three let's pull him out. One, two, three!" another man called out and everyone did just that. However when they tried to pull Boris out they realized they were holding onto one another. Everyone was confused by that and they looked around for Boris till someone spotted him on the roof.

"LOOK HE'S UP THERE!" someone shouted and pointed to the roof. Everyone in the area looked up and they saw Boris was indeed standing on the roof.

"Let your main Boss know that this is what happens when you break a deal with me. I would've stayed if you all hadn't given Via amnesia, and now that she's out I have no reason to be here any more," Brois said with a smile on his face before unleashing his wings and flying off.

"Well f.., what do we do now?" one of the men asked.

"I know one thing I'm doing... clocking out," one of the men said before leaving.

Meanwhile Boris was heading to VR City but decided to stop at a lake to wash the bird droppings off his arm. "Can't see Via with this mess on me, agh stupid birds thinking they can do their business wherever they want. ...sigh... It doesn't matter, I'm free and I'm going home," Boris said to himself as he landed near a lake and started washing himself off.

He then stopped and took the time to look at his reflection in the water. "Sigh... My arms, legs, shoulder blades, and right eye might be robotic now, but I'm still human on the inside. Thankfully Via is still human and she's alive, that's good. I know I'll find her in VR City. It's the farthest place from here and anyone with a logical thinking brain would go to the farthest place from where they were being held hostage, and it also was the same place she told me she had lived so maybe she still has some of her memories still in there," Boris said to himself.

He then pulled out a photo of what Via looked like before she was kidnapped. She had given him it when they first met. In the photo Via had long brown hair, sapphire blue eyes, fake glasses, and fake braces. However a surgery she went under caused her hair to turn purple and her eye color to change as well. Now her real eye color was much more faded than before.

"Don't worry V I'm coming and I'll do whatever I can to help you regain your memories and put a stop to all of this... because I love you," Boris whispered before kissing the photo and taking off again, willing to do whatever he could to help Via get her memories back.
