JACK'S POV

I tried to find my assignment partner. But all the students are mixed up when lunch time, so it's really hard to find her over the waves. I gave up and rushed to our table with Eric and Ken.

" Sup bros " I fist bumped them.

" Sup. " Ken greeted.

" Have you met your partner in English ? " Eric asks.

" Actually .. " I trailed off.

" No? " Ken said.

" Not yet though. I can't find her " I chimed up.

" Well look at the ladies over there " Eric pointed out at a table with three girls laughing. They look familiar.

" That's her! " I said. I immediately rushed over to their table.

" Hi " I greeted them.

VIVIAN'S POV

" And then he was like ' you're cuter than her ' " Jess said laughing. We laughed too. " I mean, he does have his taste "

" And smells " Cathy joked. We laughed again. Suddenly, a cute guy approached our table.

" Hi " he said.

" Uh hello? " Cathy said sarcastically. I put my hands in front of her.

" You're Jack right? " I asked him.

" Yes, and you're Vivian? " He questioned.

" Yes. " My only reply. He is too cute for cute words.

" So.. When we will start the assignment? " He sat beside me. I turned around and blushed like a mad man.

" Uh... " He said. I noticed Jess and Cathy grinning like mad mans too. I gave them " The Stare " and looked at Jack.

" We can start it at my or your home " I said.

" Cool, you're house then " Jack said.

" Awesome, so see ya? " I said.

" Ok " He stands up. " Nice meeting you Vivian " Then he walks away.

I wanted to scream. He is soooooo cute.

" Girl, you're in love " Jess broke my thoughts.

" I'm not ! And besides, you're in love too. You've spent the whole period staring at Eric " I said. grinning.

" Well it's normal cuz I'm a normal person " Jess said grinning too.

" How about you Cathy? Any love life updates? " I chimed up.

" Nope, not interested in boys right now " Cathy said lazily.

" With that Ken guy? I know you're mad over heels with him Cat " Jess joked.

Cathy, who showed an annoyed and irritated gaze at Jess.

" First of all , I promised mom I wouldn't have love lifes in high school. Second , Im in a midlife crisis right now " She said angrily.

Midlife crisis? What does that mean?

" Crisis on what? " Jess said.

" None of your business " Cathy stood up and walked away.

I looked at Jess.

" What? " She said worriedly.
