"Darry I don't want to go to school!" I growned as he shook me awake.
"Well I don't want to work but I still have to unless you want to be dumpster diving for food. Now get up!"
"Alright alright" I got up and put a Black shirt and skinny jeans on.
"Morning" I said walking in the kitchen seeing the whole gang.
"Morning string bean" they replied.
"Hey kid want to go to a party tonight?" Two asked.
"By a party we all know you mean getting both of you drunk then getting caught by the cops" Steve said eating his pancakes.
"Ya and your not taking my kid sister to a club sides she can't get into trouble with the cops." Soda said having a Sodapop.
"Ya ya"
"Hey String bean wanna go to the new bakery after school. I heard they got a double fudge chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream filling cupcake there" Johnny almost yelled out of excitement. I know everyone has a flaw and chocolate and sugar is my flaw. "Ya that's a good idea here's some money to go get some" Darry said handing me 20 cents. "Nah on me Darry" Johnny smiled. "Alright thanks Johnny cake"
They all started to walk out as me pony Johnny and Two bit started running to catch the bus. We barely made it. I sat in between Johnny and Pony on the way there. Pony and Johnny were a grade higher than me and two bit was 2 grades ahead of me. We all got out then I felt a tug on my pony tail.

"Hey Maria wanna go to the drive in tonight." Bob asked snakley.
"Sorry have plans" I said walking away.
"Come on don't be like that. How can you have plans with these dirty greasers!" he smirked touching my butt. I was sick and tired of this. I finally punched him in the jaw "lay off creep!" Just then the boys ran behind me and socs ran behind Bob. "Hey we have a problem?" Two asked glaring at them. They just walked away. "Hey you ok" Johnny asked sweetly
"Ya fine" I said walking to my locker.
"Hey they ain't gonna mess with you as long as I'm around alright" he smiled as I nodded staring into his sparkling eyes. We walked to class together because our classes were across from each other. " Hey see you at lunch ok?"
"Alright" I smiled.
As I walked into class 3 girls walked up to me.
"Uh scus me" I said politely as they got in my way and pushed me back.
"Well look who we have here" the leader asked.
"Aren't you the baby in the Curtis family? Uhhhhh oh ya your name is Maria"
"Ya can I get to my seat now?" I asked getting annoyed.
"Look stay away from Bob he is mine ok!"
"Trust me I don't like him one bit so he's all yours" I said moving her out of my way.
"Trust me don't think I don't know what your doing!" She growled.
"Well please tell me what I'm doing cause I don't even know what im having for lunch" I smiled sitting down.
"Come on Layla she's just a fake!" A girl in her gang named Chrissy said as they walked away. I just rolled my eyes. I didn't really mind her I just went on with my day. Finally The day ended and I was ready to go to the new bakery with some of the boys.
