I woke up on my own this morning and made myself breakfast. I then got dressed. By the time I woke up that's when Darry started waking everyone up.
"Hey what are you doin up so early" he asked rubbing his eyes.
"I honestly don't know." I said blankly.
"That's nice....... Pony soda WAKE UP!" he yelled. Somethin felt like wierd like somethin good or different was gonna happen. I rode the bus to school with Pony and Johnny. "Dude what is up with you?" Johnny asked.
"I don't know i just feel tired."
"Well come on we're here."
We got off the bus and had a good day. I mean ya the girls and other soc we're giving me dirty looks but screw it they act like it bugs me.
I finally got out of school.
"Hey String bean I was wondering if after school you want to grab somethin to eat?" Johnny asked Normal.
"Sorry I have my after school program today. Maybe tomorrow?" I smiled unlocking my locker.
"Alright see you later" he waved leaving. Then Ponyboy came up with two bit but I had to go.
"Hey Maria can I tell you someth-"
"Ya later Pony but I got to go"
"But i-"
"After school ok I promise" I said running off.
I ran all the way there using the school back doors to leave.
"I'm here" i said going backstage
"Right on time" he smiled. He hands me a list of a few songs to sing so I don't have to always forget which song to do. The crowd cheered cause they new who I was. It was wierd getting popular. The show ended and I headed off to the new bar and man did people get drunk here. "Hey your the new chick right?" I guy at the counter asked. I nodded.
"Well then come on girly get up there!" He smiled excited. I walked up on stage with my new 'clothes' on as all the guys whisled and howelled. Man it was uncomfortable. "Hi everyone how y'all doing tonight?" I said trying to sound excited. They all cheered. "Alright well my name's Maria and I'll be singing for you guys tonight so how bout we get this party started!" I smiled as they cheered even louder throwing beer every where. I got into about 2 songs till one of the worst things ever happened.
