I woke up around 12:45 am. I got up and saw Darry in the kitchen with a bunch of envelopes on the table. He was running his hands through his long dark brown greasy hair like he was stressed. "Darr-bear? What you doin up so late" I asked accedently startling him. "Oh uh I couldn't sleep so I just came in to get a snack." He said grabbing an apple. "What about all that mail?"
"Aw nothing you got to worry about string beans" he said kissing my head and putting me over his shoulder. He then through me on my bed. "Night string bean"
"Night Darr-bear" I let him walk out of my room and waited about 5 min. I couldn't stop thinking about those envelopes. Was something wrong. Who were they from. I then got up and tip toed to the kitchen. I started reading all these bills and then I saw a red note. "Losing House." I read.
"Mr.Curtis you have 2 months to pay the rest of your bills. You owe $3500 to the bank. If not payed in 2 months you will be evicted." I read to myself quietly.
No! They can't take this house. This is the only thing I have to remember mom and dad and other good meomaries with not only my parents and brothers but with the whole gang. I was scared. There has to be something I can do.
