As I was In the middle of singing I then saw Johnny cake walk in. At first he didn't notice me but then he was in shock. I have him an I'm sorry look. He looked at me confused but waited for my show to be over which was about another 30 minutes. I got off stage walking past a bunch of crazy men.
"String bean what the hell r u doing?" He said confused almost angry.
"It's a long story" I said looking down.
"Well I've got time" he said looking at me.
" A few nights ago I woke up and went to the kitchen to grab a bite and saw bills on the table. I saw one that said that bank might take our house if we don't pay in less then 2 month and I knew Darry wouldn't ask for help so I went out to get a job and I got 2 and am doing fine."
"Well you didn't have to get a job here almost looking like a frickin stripper!" He whisper yelled.
"I know I know but it pays well and I don't only sing here I sing at the other restaurant we normally go to"
"We have to tell Darry!" He said grabbing my hand trying to get me to leave.
"No! Johnny Cade I need this job or were gonna loose our house!"
He stayed there staring at the ground.
"Fine under one condition" he smiled
"And what would that be?" I asked coming closer to him.
"A simple kiss" he whispered in my ear and his soft lips touched mine.
