"Alright so I may have gotten u to go on TOUR!" He yelled. I was shocked. Everyone shouted and howelled jumping up and down like little kids. They were all shaking me picking me up and throwin me around. We all cheered excited.
"That's amazing!! When do we leave!" I asked as Dally finally stopped tickling me.
"So uh... About that.. we can't come with u" We all froze.
"What do u mean you guys mean u can't come? Soda and Steve can quit there job at the DX and I can pay them, Two bit can't keep a job to save his life nor can Dally and we can always take him to bars and parties in every city we stop at and then Ponyboy Johnny and I can be home schooled and it will be fine right?! I mean we can always buy books to keep us busy and everything we need" I said trying to fix this so they could all come. I mean I want them to come more then anything but I also want to go on tour. I mean this has been my Dream my entire life!
"I know but the producer said he thought it wasn't a good idea to have 7 boys in a tour bus with only 1 girl. Even if u r our sister he said it might start rumors and stuff." Darry said in disappointment. I could tell he really wanted to come.
"So we can get more girls to come with us" Dally chuckled.
Steve howelled of course and had Two bit join.
"Ya ya but this is about you Maria not us and this can make you 100 times more famous then you already are! I mean u might get to meet the King of Rock and Roll! That's a once in a life time opportunity!" Darry said getting excited for me.
"Look String bean we all love you and we just want to help u out and do what's best for u. But this one is ur choice. So whatever u choose we're all behind u alright? Just remember we will always! ALWAYS! Have your back kid. No matter what." Sodapop smiled putting his arm around me. I smiled back as he kissed my forehead.
"Ya but what about the King of Ro-"
" Two bit shut up!" Ponyboy and Soda yelled at once. Two bit was one of the biggest Elvis fans I've ever met! He has all his records a poster even the lunch box! Don't ask y just.... Don't. But seriously if u have seen how girls yell and scream for Elvis at his concerts just give Two bit a wig and sounds just like one of them.
"But really Maria do what u what if u go we'll all be waiting for you when u get back. It's really no sweat. Then when u get to a stop u can Always give us a call or send us post card" Johnny smiled sweetly.
"I know but I really want to think about this first. It's a really big decision" I said looking at everyone then looking down at my shoes. The phone started to ring
"Alright no prob String bean. Just let me know before Wednesday." Darry said starting to walk towards the phone in the kitchen. I nodded. Today was Thursday and our last day of school. I really want to go on tour tho.
"Hey String bean Jack Kelly and his family want to meet you at the restaurant with Medda!" Darry yelled from the kitchen.
"Alright let me get my shoes on." I smiled I really like them there very nice. They probably just want to go over details for New York.
"Hey can I come" Johnny asked curiously with his puppy dog eyes sparkling.
"Sure" I smiled. Us 3 then got in the Truck and started heading to the restaurant where it all began for me.
