I slowly walked home thinking of my schedule.
Alright I'll just tell Darry that I'm doing an after school program that would be uhh. Shoot... Oh some extra class to help me with school. Alright easy I got this. I walked in to see the whole gang in the living room. "Hey what's up" they all yelled. "Hey guys" I smiled walking into my room. "Hey String bean how's it going man" Dall said walking in. "Hey good I thought you were in the cooler?" I said unassured. "Ya well got out for good behavior." He smirked. "Dallas Winston out for good behavior" I laughed loudly.
"Man never thought I would hear those words." I said almost crying out of laughter.
"Ya neither did i" he said rolling his eyes." We caught up a little I mean he has been gone for 3 months. My best friend.
"Hey so can u do something for me?"
"Sure anything" He said lighting a cigarette as we hung out on the pourch.
"Can u sign this?" I showed him the paper. Before he could read it I snatched it back. He giggled. "Come on man I gotta know what I'm signing" he smiled leaning against the stair railing Cooley.
"That's the thing I can't tell anyone"
"Look if it's something bad don't do it. if u can't get out of a deal I'll get you out. Now what is it?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.
"No it's nothing bad but it's just... How do I explain this...um so it's just wierd and Darry doesn't want me to but I have to. Look just forget it." I said looking down.
"If it's sex I have a problem with that but...."
"Eww Dally it has nothing to do with anything like that" I said awkwardly.
"Alright that's good but if I sign this then u gotta say you tricked me if you get caught got it" he smiled.
"Alright" I smiled back. See this is why Dall is my best friend he totally gets me. After that we all watched TV and ate popcorn. It was a lot of fun but know I just have to rehearse different songs while the boys are gone. Great there never gone. Alright plan b.
