Finally! Fall break! And I'm going to be spending this break the greatest way possible: going to my friend's house. And I'm spending the night tonight!

Mom just dropped me off, as my friend, Cheyanne, ran outside the house, yelling, "Nicole! You're here!" I ran over to her as she said, "Come inside!". I walk inside with all my sleeping stuff. I honestly cannot wait. Meghan, Katey, and Jade were also there.

Let me cut to the chase.

We were in Cheyanne's room, with our sleeping bags on the floor. We were so bored, that I almost wanted to watch paint dry. We just got done watching movies and playing board games, when Cheyanne said, "Hey guys, I have an idea!"

I never had looked at someone so fast in my life. "What is it?!"

"You all know Joshua, right?"

"That guy you like?" Jade asked.

"Pfffft. Be quiet." Cheyanne replied.

Joshua isn't only liked by Cheyanne. Several other girls like him too. They claim he's "hot" and other stuff. Now I will say, he's cute, I just don't like him much.

"Apparently, Joshua and a few other of his friends are at his house." Cheyanne continued.

"And..." Meghan said.

"We should go over to his house!" replied Cheyanne.

"Honestly, I would say no, but I am so bored that I have to say yes." Katey stated.

"Same." we all agreed.

"How will we be able to get out?" I questioned.

"My parents go to sleep once their heads hit the pillow. Tested that theory. The front door is pretty loud; but the back door is silent."

"So we can go out the back?" Jade asked.

"Yup."

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" I replied.

So we snuck out of the house, but on the way, I could have sworn I heard noises. I figured it was us walking on leaves, but it sure didn't sound like that. It almost sounded like a bloodcurdling dying sound. And it sounded nearby. I decided to run faster with the rest of my friends.

I was happy to hear Cheyanne say, "It's that house right there."

"Who's all at his house?" Meghan asked.

"Himself, Leo, Gale, and Harris." she replied.

"Also, do they know we are going in their house?" Meghan curiously asked.

"Gale knows. He can't keep anything to himself, so probably, yes." Cheyanne replied. " Joshua's parents are out of town, so he probably has loud music playing and stuff."

We all walked up to his door and knocked. "JOSHUA, THE PIZZA MAN IS HERE! GET THE TWENTY BUCKS!" I could tell that was Leo. Then, the door flew open with Joshua at the door. He was looking at his money.

"Ten, fifteen, twenty, and an extra five. Okay, here you are." He looked up at us with his money. "Wait, you guys are they girls Gale told me about." He turned his head toward the house and hollared, "THE GIRLS ARE HERE!" He yelled so loud, I wouldn't be shocked if it woke up Cheyanne's parents.

"GREAT!" I heard Harris shout back.

Joshua laughed, "Come in."

We walked inside. His house is as big as a skyscraper! He lead us to his room, where his friends were. They were in midst of playing Uno. And Leo was winning.

I didn't want him to win, because I would hear about it all night. But if he lost, I would hear about it all night. Either way, there's no win.

"Uno!" Leo shouted in glory.

Joshua was worried. "All I can use in a green six." So he laid the green six down.

Next was Gale's turn. He only had a red six. He laid the card down. "All on you, Harris."

"Dude I have to draw! I don't have anything!" I have never seen so many people staring at a card like it contain's God's magic. Leo put his card down. The card prior was red, and Leo and a red 2.

"I won! I won!" Leo bragged.

"We all know!" I replied sarcasticly.

"WHOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!" Leo started running around the room. I looked over at Joshua. He facepalmed and shook his head.

So we all played board games for about an hour, until Joshua's dog starting barking. "Weird." he said. "He only barks if there's someone at the door or if someone's walking down the streets.

All of us went outside with him. I thought I heard some soft voice; I couldn't make out the words, though.

Then, I heard something woosh by.
