Ch.9 The Battle has Began
(Sam's P.O.V)
After dashing outside the school doors, Taurtis, Yuki, Salex, Pheonix, Addison, Piper, Hunter, Nicole, and I were met with a site that terrified us all.
Before us stood seven strangers, who were all dressed in black clothing. I spotted James, locked inside a cage made of, what seemed to be, black electricity. James appeared to be knocked out.
I assumed that the strangers were the Dystopian's real forms.
"Nice to see you again Sam. But I'm afraid that this time I will not leave so easily," Dystopian Sam said.
"Oh, does that mean I'll actually have a challenge," I taunted.
I looked at all the Dystopians, there was Dystopian Yuki, James, Invader, and two others that I didn't recognize. One of them had black hair and dark brown eyes, and the other had brown hair and brown eyes.
And of course there was Dystopian Sam and Taurtis. Thought Taurtis didn't look like what I expected, why did he have a crown on his head.
"If you want your friend back, you'll have to fight for him," Dystopian Taurtis said, with the same power as the voice in my dream.
"I'll get James, you guys keep them busy," Nicole whispered so that only our group could hear.
Then, everyone charged. Piper and Hunter were fighting the shadow guards that kept coming up out of the ground. Addison was taking on the two unknown Dystopians. Yuki was fighting Dystopian Invader, while Salex was fighting Dystopian Yuki. Pheonix charged at Dystopian James, and Taurtis went for Dystopian Taurtis.
Which left me with Dystopian Sam.
Our blades clashed. I tried to read his mind again, but for some reason I couldn't.
"It's Dystopian Taurtis, he's using his shield to cancel you out," a voice rang in my head.
"Lead him to the rooftop, their powers are weaker here, Dystopian Taurtis won't be able to reach him," it continued.
I teleported to the rooftop, following what the voice told me. He teleported after me.
"What? Are you running away?" Dystopian Sam asked.
"From you? Never. Simply getting more battle ground," I replied.
Once I was able to read his mind, the real battle began.
Our blades clashed until u was able to stab him in the gut. He fell over in pain.
"Don't let your guard down yet. Dystopians like Sam and Taurtis have a special type of bond. If one of them is hurt, the other will come rushing to their aid," the voice told me.
I looked off the edge of the roof to see Dystopian Taurtis Rush into the school, Taurtis following after him.
"Your doomed now. He'll tear you to peices," Dystopian San clutched his gut.
I turned as I heard loud footsteps climbing up the stairs. The door to the roof, swung open.
Dystopian Taurtis charged at me, sword ready. I readied my sword to block, as I saw him getting closer.
Taurtis dashes onto the roof, using his sheiks to catapult him over the Dystopian and right in front of me.
Just as Dystopian Taurtis was about to swing his sword, Taurtis punched while using his shield, sending him flying back towards the door.
"You knew, Utopian San. If I had won today, you would have made a really good slave," Dystopian Taurtis said.
The Dystopians all left through the cracks in the floor. Leaving us Utopians, tried and in need of an explanation.
