Alpha and Luna

When I wake up again, Andrés isn't in the room instead my mom is standing by my desk looking at the  framed pictures, I notice my closet door open and a few of my clothes hanged, of course, she hung them up.

" mom?" i breath out 

my mom turns around quickly " sweetheart" she smiles putting the picture back, she walks to over to my bed " how are you feeling? you look pretty good"

"thanks " I smile and sit up so I can hug her, I wrap my arms around her pull her close to me, it feels so good to hug her. 

" I am sorry about dad," I tell her

"it's okay honey, I'm fine" my mom replies rubbing my back " I am fine"

I didn't believe her, I know that she was putting on an act that's how my mother is, she never puts herself first, she always puts other people feelings before her. I know that losing your mate comes with a great deal of pain. 

"you know it's okay to grieve, right?" I ask " take some time, if you need to"

my mom shakes her head at that " I can't do that, it's okay Amma, grief is overrated especially when you are a luna"

I raise my brows " what can I do to help?" I ask, 

I know my mom she's going to do things her way and I can't change that, I just need to be there for her.

"this pack need to recover as soon as possible from the loss of their alpha, I need to appoint an alpha ASAP"

" who are you thinking of?" I ask her.

Is the beta Matthew  going to take over now? I hope not.

" well, since you're an alpha" my mom says

that makes me laugh, I seriously can't help but laugh out loud just thinking about me being alpha of a whole pack, that would seriously be a disaster.

" Amma, I'm serious, be serious" my mom frowns "I've talked to Andrés-"

"you've talked to Andrés? mom! you can't be serious I can't be the alpha! I don't know the first thing about being an alpha" I snap getting off the bed

" did he agree to this?" I sniffle

yes, I was getting upset because if Andrés agreed to me being an alpha that would mean that he doesn't want to be with me, I mean why else would he agree to it? that would mean I will stay here and he will leave.

"he did- but Amma let me finish" my mom sighs,

I get off the bed, I am angry now because, after everything, after the 'i love you's' how could he just decide to leave me?

I rush out of the room and sniff out his scent once I find it, I follow it and it leads me to the guest house, once I get there I walk in not caring that I was just wearing a robe and nothing else, not even shoes.

the guest houses has four bedrooms, the first bedroom door was closed and I could practically feel Andrés that's how close he was, and his scent was coming off strong.

I twist the doorknob and walk in.

"Wha- Amma?!" Andrés quickly wraps the towel around his waist," I thought you were someone else, what are you even doing here?"

okay, I was not prepared for this. Andrés just came out of the shower and he was dripping wet.

I am fine, I can do this. I won't get distracted by his body.

I suck in a breath and try not to stare at his wet torso but my eyes keep darting to it " my mom wants me to be alpha of the pack and you said you're fine with it?" I ask

Andrés nods confused " did I do something wrong?"

I don't know why this happens but I burst into tears "you don't want me anymore?" I cry

In flash Andrés is in front me, he picks me and sits me on his lap on the bed, " Amma, hey.." he chuckles " listen, your emotions are heightened and you need to learn how to control them if not you're going to find yourself crying about everything"

i sniff " what do you mean?" i ask him confused " i am crying because you're going to leave"

Andrés caresses my thighs  to comfort me and it's working a little" who said I am leaving?" he asks calmly.

" if I become alpha, I will have to stay here and I can't come with you" I explain

"Amma, I am not leaving. Your mother and I talked and we agreed that I will be the alpha with you by my side. And when you're ready I will appoint you alpha as well" Andrés wipes the tears from my cheeks

" you and I will rule way-heaven together. You will be an alpha and me a Luna- or well, the alpha's mate's who also happens to be lycan immortal alpha"

I laugh laughing at the image of Andrés a luna, the word so doesn't suit him " 

i really should have listened to my mom and not jump to this conclusion.

" what about the Night-walkers?" I ask 

"they're staying too, that way samael can stay with Josie and Dave can do whatever he's doing with Ibenez" Andrés smiles

I smile as well, but I was nervous, I am just not ready to be alpha of a whole pack. " it's okay Amie, you're not alpha yet, not until you're ready"

"Okay" I sigh and hug him " thank you"

"it's okay" Andrés whispers rubbing my back

I rest my head on him before leaning to kiss him, when I capture his lips in mine I feel his mouth stretch wide in a smile, I run my finger through his wet hair brushing them off his forehead.

"Baby" Andrés groans painfully,  " I have to give an announcement in an hour, your mother invited the whole pack. I can not be late"

I pull back from the kiss, " we can do a-lot in an hour" I suggest biting my lips,

André's eyes darken at that, he grabs my waist and stands up, I wrap my arms around his neck to keep from falling, then he drops me on the bed.

with a wiggle off his brows, he drops his towel and I can't help but laugh at his expression " are you laughing at me mon-amour?"

I just can't believe how silly the alpha actually is, I can tell that he has let his guard down with me, he showed the real him, one that jokes, smiles, if he can do that, then I can do the same.

I would've never guessed that when I first met him, and now that I know how he acts around me it makes me feel special, he will never in a million act this way with someone else or around other people.

"Me? laugh at you?" I play dumb

Andrés climbs on top of me and pins my hands above head, he leans down to capture his lips to mine.

 I close my eyes and sigh into the kiss loving how he smelled fresh from his shower, he was still wet in places but he felt warm on top of me.

We make love, this time it was slow, our kisses were long and deep, we became entwined and our hearts fused into one while our bodies moved in familiar sync, I now felt more comfortable and let myself explore.

"you are amazing" Andrés whispers in my ear

I snuggle into his chest blushing at his compliment, " I mind-linked Korina to bring your clothes, while she does that, lets shower"

"don't you have to go?" I ask sitting up and wrapping the blanket around me

" I have ten minutes remaining," Andrés tells me getting off the bed and walking to the bathroom, my eyes stay on his bare ass, oh damn.

i hear the shower turn on and decide to get up " hey, Andrés can you say something in French?" i ask grabbing the robe from the ground and putting it on

when i walk into the bathroom the alpha narrows his eyes at me " viens-tu de coucher avec moi pour comprendre le français?" ( " did you just have sex with me, so you could understand French?") He asks,

oh goddess! that worked! I understood that! I clap my hands excitedly.

when I see the Alpha's shocked face, I clear my throat " I know it may look like that but" I am not going to admit to him that I wanted to have sex with because I was feeling horny..

" can you blame me?"

"I am not complaining, at all" Andrés pulls me to his arms, he leans and pecks my lips " take that off, let's shower"

I do and we take a quick shower, I've never showered with anyone and I always thought it was going to be hot and steamy and it totally was. 

Andrés and I kept kissing to the point it was getting really hot, thankfully the knocking on the door interrupts us.

we quickly get out, Andrés picks up his towel from the floor and wraps it around his lower body, he gives me a brand new one.

He opens the door for Korina who walks in with a knowing smirk, " I see you love birds can't keep your hands off each other" she says

" Andrés, I put your clothes in Naois room" she smirks

i take the bag that Korina was holding from her, why did she bring a whole bag? " is this all mine?" i ask confused

why did she pack me a whole bag when she could have just brought a t-shirt and jeans?

"I want you next to me" Andrés answers for Korina

" I am going to set some rules and I am going to change this whole pack dynamic I'm sure the elders are not going to be happy about it. It might help if a familiar face is up there too"

i nod " whatever you need"

Andrés pecks my lips "I love you, I'll you see you" he says before leaving

"I envy you two" Korina smiles

"Don't worry you too will find your mate" I assure her " i never thought I would even have a mate and look at me"

Korina nods "you're right, one day, I will find her"

one more chapter and we're finished. I am so nervous! I hope you are satisfied with the ending.

I tried to give everyone a happy ending. Don't worry those who don't get a happy ending, they will get their happy ending, it's just that their story is not over yet.
