Chapter 49 (EDITED)

wake me up when it's all over

The pack house is empty, I look in every single room and there is no sign of my friends or parents. 

 I tap into the mind link only to realise that I can't do that because I am not technically part of the pack anymore.

I walk into the kitchen where I last left ibenez and Josie, nothing. I sigh and turn to make my way to the back only to come face to face with Drui.

Quickly I put the dagger in my jeans back pocket to hide it from her. "SHI-EESH" i place a my hand on my chest " you scared me" I tell her

Drui grabs my wrist and pulls me towards with her, she was practically running outside "come with me, your mother is waiting for you outside"

my parents and Heath were standing standing by the porch "we gotta go, we've lost four lives already" Heath panics

I thought Andrés compelled him to watch-oh it must have worn off as soon as we finished.

" they're not going to stop," my father says " Drui you need to take them out"

"stop peter" my mom whispers

"I won't let that rogue take my only daughter!" my dad growls

Drui pushes me towards them laughing "I'm afraid it's too late for that" she says and my eyes widen in embarrassment. I don't want my dad to know that I just had sex, gosh!

" they've mated," Drui says

my dad angry eyes turn to me and I look down in embarrassment "is this true Amma?" I hear him ask "did you mate with that ratchet rogue?!"

I nod, I was shaking because I was so afraid. When my dad is angry I don't know what he is capable of.

"WHORE!" MY dad growls

I look up at him shocked that he would call me that, I am not a whore for mating with my mate!

" don't look at me" my dad growls in disgust raising his hand to smack me

mom gasps and I cower ready to for the smack to hit me but it never comes, slowly I open my eyes to only to see Andrés wolf, he stood tall and dark gripping my dad's wrist tightly.

"how dare you try to lay a hand on her?!" he growls

my dad cowers just like I did before, shaking violently in fear "wh-what the hell are you?" Heath whimpers before running off into the other direction.

 this is who my dad wanted to hand over the pack to?

Andrés roars and his breath flows like the wind blowing through my father's hair " DRUI NOW" my father shouts

I Feel drui quickly grab me "don't struggle with me" she whispers and I feel a cold metal on my neck.

oh no! the dagger!

"No!" my mom cries

" I- I swear to goddess if you hurt my daughter I will rip your throat out with my own teeth!"

it looked as if my mom couldn't move from her spot, I knew drui put a spell on her. As my mother struggled to free herself drui hold on me tightened and the dagger was now placed near my on chest above my heart.

this could easily kill me.

Andrés turns around growling so loud that the earth beneath us  shakes but instead of scaring drui away he does the opposite because the witch starts to laugh.

" if you try to hurt me, you will hurt your precious mate as well, I have linked her to me" she reveals between her loud cackling.

Andrés shifts back " you're lying" he grits out his claws extending

"you're not the only witch, Andrés. I know how sly you are" drui replies " now are you going kill me?.. because I'm going to kill her"

i feel a tear slide down my cheek as the dagger stings me. I could feel it cut down to my skin.

Andrés roars and stalks towards my dad, he grabs him by the throat and heart sinks to my stomach " i will kill him if you don't let her go" he threatens

"NO!" i cry " don't Andrés it's okay, don't hurt him please"

he is still my dad even after everything. I don't want him to die.

the alpha looked thorn but I knew he was going to kill him. "Amma, I swear I'm going to kill him if she doesn't let you go" he shouts

"you need to understand that I am doing this for your own good" drui says

" You two can't be together, the universe doesn't want you together, the moon goddess doesn't want you together. Amma you are too young to understand, you are  stuck in a dream, in a fairytale that will not last forever. You can't wake him!"

"please drui" I beg

"no" drui cackles 

"do it, kill me rogue! " my father groans " drui slice her throat ope-"

He doesn't get to finish his sentence because of Andrés has clawed his neck open, I watch in horror as his eyes roll at the back of his eyes and blood start to spill out, hitting me, Duri and my mom.

I scream for my father and I scream because the next thing I know there's a stinging pain that burns like fire.

Darkness fills the edges of my vision and the only thing I could hear was my own heartbeat. My breath came out in ragged, shallow gasps.

then, I heard screams and I felt myself fall into someone's arms, I place a hand on my chest and when I look at my hand it's covered in blood. My blood. 

The last thing I hear is my mother crying and Andrés screaming for me to wake up before everything becomes completely dark.

I am dead. I know that I am dead because the pain has now faded away to an icy numbness. I couldn't feel anything, I couldn't hear anything and I couldn't see anything.

It was peaceful here,

 For a small moment at least.

"Amma," a soft almost angelic voice says "wake up, child"

I never heard that voice before. I open my eyes to see a white light coming from afar, it kept getting closer the brightness almost blinding me.

I can make out a women figure? it wasn't just a woman, not a werewolf or a human. But a powerful being.

The glowing light emitting  from her made me think she was angel.

"don't be afraid, Amma" she smiles

how does she know my name? do I know her. I've never seen her in my life before.

She had black long hair reaching her waist and brown familiar eyes, and her skin was so pale that it looked almost metallic, she was so beautiful from her head to her toe, I was seriously in awe.

" who are you?" i ask her

"you can call me Selene"

my jaw literally drops to the ground, and my eyes bug out of head " Selene as in.. the moon goddess?" I ask,

wait, did I go to heaven? is this heaven for werewolves?

"yes, Selene the one and only moon goddess" Selene the moon goddess nods

Should i refer to her as her highness- her honour? I should have paid more attention to school because now I don't know what to do. should i bow?

I'm going bow, I bend my knees and bow down respectively causing the moon goddess to chuckle lightly.

"we're family Amma, no need for all of that"

"Oh okay" i nod

on the outside, I made sure I had a cool composure but on the inside I was screaming, I am family to the moon goddess?

how is this happening right now?

"so... am I dead?" I ask casually

this is the shortest chapter I've ever written.

please don't hate me. I didn't mean to kill her it just happened.

Also since the story is coming to an end i will be updating really quickly! i'm literally going to update the next chapter in 30 minutes once i finish editing it!
