Chapter 47 (EDITED)

In the eyes of a teenage crystallised

It's been a year since I've seen Andrés, he never came back for me, I stopped trying to escape after the blood moon passed.

there was no reason to, the curse is unbreakable after the blood moon, Andrés is going to spend his life in wolf form, the worst part of it all is that Heath and I mated-

here we go again, it hasn't been one year at all, it has only been one day. my wolf was just making up scenarios because she's a bitch.

"can you stop" I cut my wolf short "that's not going to happen"

'yes it is, this is going to be our life if we don't do something' she replies

I wanted to shut her off but if I did that I'd have to talk to Heath so my dramatic wolf it is.

I sit down on my bed and wait for Josie and Ibenez when there's a knock on the door I know for sure it's not them, they never knock.

"Come in" I sigh

two omegas, my old handmaids walk-in bowing their head in respect " can I be alone please?" I ask

" i can do everything myself" i dismiss them

"Luna, your father is throwing you a welcome back party, the pack is here, and alphas from far packs are coming on your behalf," Lily says

great, a welcome back party just what I need! "do I have a choice?" I ask even though I knew the answer

"I'm afraid not, luna."

"baths ready," Jess says walking out of my bathroom, when did she even- I'm too tired for this.

After my bath, Jess and Lilly sit me down on a chair, I avoid looking at myself in the mirror the whole time they prepare me for the party.

Jess cuts and styles my hair while lily does my makeup, this is the life of a luna, getting pampered and made up to look perfect even if you don't feel so perfect.

"Luna, can I ask you a question?" jess, the omega that was straightening my hair asks

"sure" I nod

" what was it like being there?"

 I didn't understand what she was talking about so I simply ask her " what do you mean?"

" we were told that Heath rescued you from an evil Rogue pack"

that gets my blood boiling, I find myself gripping chair so hard that my claws start to expand.

 "did he say that?" I grit out

I wanted to know if he's been telling people that because he didn't rescue me, he took me away from my so not evil pack.

" yes," jess nods gulping,

I notice that she was pale and staring at me with fear so I quickly turn to the mirror to see my reflection,

I gasp when I see fangs and dark eyes- I close my eyes and I take a few deep breaths until I feel myself relax.

"I'm sorry Jess and lil, I didn't mean to scare you" I apologise, giving them my best smile

"it's all forgiven luna, we understand, we too have PTSD from our old pack"

after two hours jess and lily leave me to get ready, I put on a  grey shirt and black skirt and a pair of black ankle boots.

I walk to my mirror and examine myself, I am glad Lilly decided to do a natural makeup look because I would have washed it off, I am just not in the mood to wear make-up tonight.

I run my fingers through my pin straight hair. It grew a lot while I was away but now jess cut it to my shoulders.

" wow, finding your mate really changed you"

I freeze at the voice, it was Josie's! 

see! she and ibenez never knock!

I turn around to find not just Josie and ibenez but my mom also! I couldn't believe it, finally, I was seeing my mom again and I couldn't hold it in anymore!

" mom!!!" I cry running towards her and wrapping her in a hug, my mom's arms is a world of safe, a world of comfort.

"my sweet Amma," my mom coos kissing my head.

her touch was gentle but firm as if she didn't want to let me go and I felt the same, I didn't want her to let me go. I don't know how i survived all this time without her.

"I missed you," I tell her looking into her blue familiar eyes, it was filled with tears, I couldn't tell if it was happy tears or sad tears.

"me too," my mother nods pulling me in for another hug, I sink into her letting her scent of coconut, lavender and other types of amazing smells mixed together back into my system.

"Josie?" I sniffle walking towards my best friend and embracing her in a long hug

"I missed you so much," Josie says crying and laughing at the same time " I can't believe you left me alone with this snooze-fest"

"the snooze fest is standing right next to you" Ibenez replies, crossing his arms with a scowl

Josie rolls her eyes " he made me train with him, it was horrible, you know I don't do anything physical unless I'm running to get food"

"we know" ibenez and I say in unison

"we have a few minutes to chat, your father and Heath are greeting the guests "my mother interrupts our conversation, " ibenez told us about your mate"

my eyes widen,

i was planning on not talking about Andrés to my mom, I didn't want her to think bad about him plus our story is very complicated and I don't want to tell her anything until the curse is broken and I know for sure that Andrés and my mom can meet.

" Amma, don't lie to me, I know you're hiding something and I want you to know you can tell me-us anything" my mom speaks pointing to my small couch.

"tell us about him"

Josie closes the door " starting with why he just let Heath take you?"

oh, goddess, I guess I'm going to have to tell them everything. we take a sit and I look my shaky fingers, I was scared.

I didn't want them to get the wrong impression of Andrés, I know my mom and when she doesn't like something then that's it, there's no way of changing her mind.

Also, rogues weren't creatures that you could easily warm up to.

"my mate is rogue-" I pause to look at their reaction to find that there wasn't any, I look at ibenez to see him give me a small nod, he must have filled them in on that part...

"your scent changed, you smell like a nightwalker" Ibenez smiles fondly 

Josie gaps " the night-walkers are real?"

ibenez nods " our very own Amma is a nightwalker," he tells her

"The alpha of the night-walkers is my mate, he is a powerful alpha.. i think you might have heard of him once or twice.."

it takes me a while to tell them about what I know but once I do I can tell that nothing changed except Josie wants me to introduce her to at least one of them.

I told them everything! about Andrés, the night-walkers, the curse- the only thing I didn't mention is that Andrés is the son of Selene our very own moon goddess, and king lycaon and that he is..or he might be cessair..

I know that if I did that they won't believe me, they'd probably think I've gone crazy.

"so let me get this straight" Josie exhales " your alpha is a witch/lycan and he is also cursed and you are the only one that can break the curse and if you don't do it in a few hours then Andre stays in his wolf form forever?"

I nod " yea, and his name is Andrés"

"the same thing" Josie shrugs

"I can take you back Amma," Ibanez says " we can go right now, we'd probably make it in time"

i would love that more than anything but i can't do that, if we do get caught i know ibenez will get hurt.

Also, something strong inside me told me to stay put that Andrés was coming for me.

"I know he's going to come for me," I tell them

" and you're 100 percent sure?" my mother asks grabbing my hand

" That bite on your neck means that you're an adult now- I know you're only 16 but it's time you started to act like a luna, I was your age when I met your father and straight away I became Luna, and being a luna means putting your pack first and your alpha.. and they need you" she finishes standing up 

I nod "I know mom, the curse affects everyone in the pack"

" Okay then, it's time for the party, remember to smile," my mom tells me

"apparently alpha Remes is here" she adds shrugging "he hasn't been seen in so many years but he decided to make a appearance today for you"

alpha remes? as in alpha Korina?

does that mean Andrés is also here? At the thought I find myself sprinting out of the room, " Amma!" ibenez and my mom yells after me but I ignore them and keep running until I reach the pack's entertainment hall.

it was decorated in flowers and balloons and there was a large banner on the top written in big blocks 'welcome back Amma!' people were everywhere, but I couldn't spot Andrés or Korina.

" Alphas, betas, Lunas and omegas I present you Amma luna of the lux pack" my father's voice booms and everyone turns to me

Lux pack?

it's like a light was shining down on me, I could feel every eye on me as I made my way to the front where Heath and my father and the elders stood.

Andrés isn't here I would know if he was.

"hi dad" I smile

I was now standing face to face with my father, my mom was beside me and I could feel her warmth which made me feel at ease with my dad hard stare on me.

"go stand next your alpha" he whispers

I nod and walk towards Heath who grabs my hand and pulls me to his side, then it happens.

" aww how cute, if only he was her mate"

"who said that?! show yourself!" Heath growls

I roll my eyes at his growling, i knew that voice, it belonged to Korina. She came to take me back!

just as I suspected Korina steps out of the crowd with a smirk on her face " alpha Remes. I would say it's nice to meet you but-"

"you're not alpha Remes" Heath cuts her off "I know you! you're an imposter! guards!"

A few wolves gasps and start to whisper among themselves while four guards run towards Korina in attack mode, she defends herself and they don't even get a punch in, she does all the punching and kicking until they're on the floor.

"I can do this all day or I could just say what I come to say and leave"

" Guards seize her!" my father yells

"wait, Peter let her talk first," my mom says to my father looking at me knowingly, I think she knows that I know Korina.

"listen to the pretty lady," Korina says and winks at my mom.

I give her look because that's my mom she better not be hitting on her. " okay, but tell us who you are first"

with her eyebrows slightly raised she introduces herself "I'm Korina Remes, daughter of alpha Remes and alpha of the Ravenmane pack"

it goes quiet, everyone was probably repeating to themselves what they just heard but then Heath starts to laugh and slowly everyone joins in.

" don't be a fool, you can't be an alpha" my dad laughs along

"Peter, please for once act like an alpha" my mom exhales annoyed 

"SILENCE!" she yells and everyone quiets down " please continue Alpha Korina "

is this is why she hides because wolves will not take her seriously,  why did she just expose herself?

" I know you think it's funny but you won't be laughing when alpha Andrés and his pack invade your pack and kill every single one of you"

that makes my blood run cold, she's not serious she can't be, Andrés is not going to kill my pack no, he can't! He won't!

"is that a threat?" Heath seethes

"it's a warning, prepare for war and Amma, Andrés told you that he'll find you, even if it's the last thing he does" and then she disappears.

"Find her! bring me her head if you have to!" my father yells

this is how I imagined amma's mom to look like. the actress name is Diane Kruger.

I know it's kind of a late update but I had writer block (good excuse! i know!) the next chapter is going to be in andrés POV.

also, this is a long as a chapter, I don't think I've ever written a longer chapter. Word Count: 2,369
