AN: this chapter spills the tea on amma's parents and the curse!

Amma POV

The funny thing about being away from home is that when you come back you expect to notice the difference, you think you will see new people or a change but then everything is the same, everyone looks the same, feels the same but there's still something that is different and then you realise that what changed is you not your home.

" your parents are on their way, I have arranged clothes for you," Heath says leading me to my room,

I struggled and tried to get away all the way here but I gave up a few minutes into it, I knew that heath was going to take me back to my pack, and  I also knew that Andrés is going to find me, I had no doubt about that.

It's a mate thing, it's like i could feel it in my body that Andrés was going to find me!

I might as well see my parents and Josie again even if it's for a little while, I can't lie though, I am scared that he's going to miss the blood moon. Only 28 hours left.

I have to break the curse, for Andrés, for the night-walkers, and for me.

I knew that I had no chance against Heath and drui- yes, drui is the witch that defeated iris and Korina, she's the witch that is helping Heath. 

Apart of me always knew that she was a witch, I wonder if my dad knows. A witch in a wolf pack?

I was shocked that she was helping Heath, I bet he forced her.  

wait- does she know who Andrés is? i bet she does! she's the one that told us that story! I need to find out what else she knows!

"I want to see my friends, call Ibenez and Josie," I say,  it comes out as an order, I look up at Heath to see him scowling down at me,

...alphas don't like orders.

Heath opens my door and I step in my room for the first time in a while,  the walls are still the deep purple it was, there are two pieces of clothing on the bed, a black short skirt a grey long sleeve turtleneck shirt. I bet Heath picked it out!

I walk towards the frames of pictures and pick the one of my mom and me. As much as I love Andrés I can't deny that I missed my mom so much while I was away, I never really felt it until now.

" anything else you need?" he asks

okay, he was playing some sort of game with me! that's why he is being nice! but I am not falling for it. I never fell for the nice act when I first met him, why would I fall for it now when I am mated?

I cross my arms against my chest "yes,  space"

"as you wish" he nods with a tight-lip smile,

I can't deny the fact that I'm going to have fun messing with him and pushing his buttons.

After he closes the door I walk to the window and slide it open, I look down to see if there are any guards when I can't find any I jump down and make my escape.

Drui cottage was not close to the pack house, she lived far away, away from everyone. Her little cottage took about thirty minutes so I had to stay hidden the whole time, it was a challenge but I did it.

I remember coming here when I was younger with a few other pups, we used to dare each other to knock on her door, I remember that was the scariest thing at that time, how time has changed.

I raise my hand to knock on her door but the door opens "you're late!" drui grumbles walking back.

I follow her confused, she waves her hand and the door closes behind me. she knew I was coming? of course, she knew!

" who knew you would be the one to get mixed in the drama of king lycaon" she chuckles.

we walk into what seems to be her living room, the walls were brick and there were books, pots and candles everywhere, a skull head sat by the window.

there was two black couch facing each other and a small table in the middle, there were cards, and a kettle and two teacups, my eyes stay on the cards.

"what do you mean?" I ask her taking a seat

"would like some tea?" drui asks pouring herself a cup.

"um sure" I shrug

I am still not sure what she meant by getting mixed up in king lycaon drama, he is not here. What does he have anything to do with me?

"do tell me, dear, how is Andrés like?" she asks taking a sip " I've always wondered if he's just like- you know who"

"do you know him?" I ask

"oh no" drui chuckles " I've heard of him, he was very 'famous' in my time"

"are you the only one that knows that he is cessair?" I whisper

drui brows furrow " Andrés is not cessair, who told you that?"

oh, so she doesn't know?... I shake my head and grab my cup of tea " oh um, no one... I think I'm just confused" I lie.

I hope I didn't expose Andrés, I thought she knew seeing she knows about king lycaon.

"I met cessair" drui whispers 

"do you think Cessair and Andrés are the same people amma?" she whispers with a scary smile on her face. 

' Amma, we need to go' my wolf speaks

'in a minute' i reply

"they are the same person" I tell her "I think over time-"

"what? Do you think your mate changed his name? come on, you're smarter then that, you know that cessair is a completely different person"

to say I was confused is an understatement, Andrés and cessair are the same people, iris confirmed it! when I told her that I knew about Andrés and Cessair being the same why didn't she correct me?

it's her brother she knows him better than anyone, I've heard rumours about Andrés before I met him and I kind of believed them, I am not doing that now. I know him better than drui does besides she's working with Heath, why should i trust her?

"why are you helping Heath?" I say

"who said I am with heath?" drui gasps

I put the cup down and look at the old women in front of me, there's something wrong here " didn't you help Heath kidnap me?" I ask her.

Drui nods " I had to, I saw a terrible vision. I have to do everything I can to make sure that vision doesn't come true"

"wh-what vision?" I ask her, even though I was afraid of what she was about to say,

Drui leans in, " The blood moon, child! it doesn't just break the curse it awakens king lycaon and he  will awaken Cessair"

king lycaon? as in Andrés father? that doesn't make sense! the curse on the night-walkers has nothing to do with king lycaon.

"this was written before you were born, the universe tried to find a loophole for  a darkness, you and  Andrés are the loophole" drui whispers

I shake my head trying to clear of the lies drui was feeding me "I don't b- believe you" I tell her

"your mother told you of how you died when you were born, do you know why?" Drui frowns

I shake my head "that's because the moon goddess killed you- she knew that you and Andrés would bring darkness and bring the world to an end" Drui answers

" I was practically forced to bring you back to life but I couldn't without the promise that you and Andrés will never meet so your father  promised me that as soon as you're of age you would mate with alpha Heath.

obviously, that didn't happen and you and Andrés found each other" Drui pauses " do you love each other"

 i was not ready to find out that the moon goddess wanted me dead. I mean how are you supposed to react to that? Cry? yes!

"answer me, do you love each other?!" drui wails

" i love him," i answer her " i'm sure he loves me too!"

Drui chuckles " he doesn't love you, trust me"

"you don't know anything" i grit out and stand up

"I know the Velazquez, they're not capable of love" Drui chuckles "it's okay, I also once gave my heart, my everything to a man only to get nothing in return"

i know that Andrés and I haven't confessed our feelings but I know that he cares about me, even if he doesn't love me.

" i'm leaving"

" the curse will eventually kill Andrés and you!" Drui shouts

i freeze because the last thing i want is for Andrés to get hurt, " what do you mean?" I ask

"king Lycoan wants to end the werewolves, starting with Cessair and Andrés. Long ago he was set on bringing down every single werewolf- He even built an army of witches, werewolves, hunters.

  but before he could start the war to end all wars,  a powerful coven of witches from Massachusetts casted a spell that put him sleep forever"

" how does breaking the curse that was cast on the night-walkers awaken lycaon?" i ask

" if you break the curse, you are giving Andrés the power to- well be Andrés. Andrés will gain his pack of alphas rogues and he will kill and torture the innocent like before which gives power to king lycaon. 

The more the blood shed the weaker the spell on king lycaon grows" drui walks towards me " do you understand now?"

I do, and I'm still breaking that curse even if it kills me! " I have to go," I tell drui " thanks for the talk"

I walk out of her house and look back to see if she's going to follow me when her door remains closed I take the path that leads to the woods.

" you can find your way back to the castle right?" i ask my wolf.

I was going to wait for Andrés to get me but i can't wait, i need to get out of here now!

'i do know the way but you're being followed' my wolf says and I freeze 'it's just Heath, we can't lead him to the castle. Think smart Amma'

i turn around with a smile " Heath, thank god you found me, I think I'm lost" I murmur looking around for the alpha,

the alpha figure comes from behind a tree "how did you know i was here? I masked my scent" Heath says with raised brows

I remain from rolling my eyes " well, i could feel you- it's a mate thing"

" a mate thing?" Heath smirks and then extends his hand " come on, the pack is waiting for you"
