Do you realise what you've done to me?

it was quiet, I couldn't even hear anyone breathing I think everyone was shocked as to what just happened.

Ibenez mate is Dave.

The moon goddess actually paired Ibenez with a rogue? no one hates rogues more then Ibenez! I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

"we're not mates"

ibenez is the first to speak breaking the silence that surrounded the room, everyone mouth was either on the floor or they watching both Ibenez and Dave without blinking like I was.

"yes I am" Dave growls scrunching up his whole face as if saying those words hurt him physically

" how is that possible?" Naois snorts

"I don't know but if it's one thing I've learned is that the moon goddess is full of surprises," I say trying to lessen the tension

"who cares if Ibenez and dave are mates...right?" Cameron speaks

"I care!" both Ibenez and Dave shout in unison

I stand up and help Ibenez up, he dusts himself off and glares at Dave "I rather die than be mates with a rogue" he spits out

" a rogue?" Dave snickers taking slow steps towards Ibenez, his fist was clenched and his eyes were starting to darken.

My eyes widen and i make my way to stand in between them but then Andrés is pulling me back.

my back comes in contact with his chest "hey" I huff when I try to get out of his tight grip on my arm but I fail.

"stay out of it" he whispers in my ear

stay out of it? Dave is much stronger then Ibenez! "he's not going to hurt him, they're mates" Andrés adds reading my mind. I guess he's right.

" sweetheart i am a nightwalker rogue, An alpha rogue" Dave eyes turn red

Ibenez gasps "you're not real, night-walkers are not real," Ibenez says to himself

that's what I thought

" trust me darling I don't want you as a mate," Dave says before he walks away from the beta. 

"okay lock him up!" Andrés sighs

"what? no!" I turn around to face the alpha

" let me go with him"

I understand that he will need to be locked up because he is an intruder but he needs me there with him.

Samael and Teival both grab Ibenez and take him out of the dining room surprisingly he doesn't struggle.

knowing Samael was there made me feel better because the alpha is one of the kindest rogues I've ever met.

"you're not going with him," Andrés says,

I glare at him "why not?

He narrows his eyes at me " because i said so" he grits out

"what do we do now?" Chris speaks and that's when i realise that everyone has been present, that's right iris and Ibenez did visit us during dinner.

"pack meeting, in five" Andrés orders and walks out

i sigh and look towards Iris who was looking back at me with a smirk "what?" i ask

in a blink she's standing beside me and looping her arms with mine " you and my brother seem awfully close" she teases

oh goddess they saw the hug- what was I thinking? " you were thinking you love Andrés" Cameron says looping his arm with my free one

I untangle myself from him "I'm not talking to you" I glare at him

he pouts "why?"

"Oh I don't know?..." I pause and pretend to think about it " does snapping my best friend neck ring a bell?!"

Iris laughs and in retaliation, Cameron pulls a strand of her hair "ouch, you asshole!" she groans and kicks him.

cameron eyes glow and iris goes flying to the wall, they continue to fight each other using their magic. slowly without them noticing i leave.

I need to find Andrés.

i walk to the kitchen to find Naois and Dave speaking quietly with each other whatever they were talking about was about Ibenez because they stop when they see me.

" have you seen Andrés?" I ask

"no"

I nod and make my way upstairs ' search for him using his scent' my wolf says

'oh, I almost forgot you existed thanks for showing up now' i reply sarcastically,

it goes quite, my wolf as usual pretends like she's not there. I close my eyes and inhale. A mixture of scents fills my nostrils.

I find Andrés familiar earthly and rosewood scent lingering around. I smile and open my eyes "where are you hiding?" I whisper following the scent which by the way stops right at a closed door, he is in his room.

I open the door and find Andres standing by the window, the room was dark the moonlight shining down on the alpha.

" the pack will take a vote, every nightwalker votes counts, if they choose no then Ibenez can't stay" he speaks lowly

I lick my lips taking in the information he was telling me, it didn't sound that bad I didn't want ibenez to stay as much as I missed him. He needs to go back to the pack.

" that sounds fair," I say

Andrés turns around "Amma if the pack votes no and I vote no then your friend is going to die"

my stomach drops, why is he telling me this? is he going to vote no?

"what about my vote?" I ask " doesn't being luna count as anything?"

" not really"

what happened to every nightwalker vote counts?

I could scream and shout and cry but that won't solve anything Ibenez life is on the line. I need to be smart. Or at least try to be.

I walk closer to the alpha until we're a few inches apart " then vote to safe him" I exhale "for me"

Andrés moves closer his brown eyes gazing deeply into mine " is that what mates do?" he whispers lowly

" am I going to have to do things for you that makes you happy but makes me angry?"

"No" I shake my head " I don't think that's how it works"

Andrés lifts his hands for I second it looked like he was going to grab my waist but then his hand touches my cheek and my heart starts pace like there's no tomorrow.

" how does it work? tell me how does this soulmate thing work?" he asks caressing my cheeks

I can't help but blush, I don't even know how it works but I do know one thing.

"I believe that soulmates will always end up together no matter what because the universe wants them together, the moon wants them together and when that much power is working on their side everything will be alright in the end, no matter what happens everyone will be with their mate" I say looking down

"Amma"

i look up at sound of his voice, the way he said my name it was as if he wanted to tell me something but he decided against it.

The look on his face was unusual and his emotions were telling me that he wanted some sort of connection, or maybe I needed the connection.

All this mate stuff is super confusing for both us that was for sure.

His brown cold eyes were now soft, i never thought i would see the day. Andrés looked completely different.

The Cursed alpha rogue that stood before me was no longer there instead it was replaced with a kinder - a softer Andrés.

i was drawn to him more then ever, maybe it was his dark kind eyes that made my knees weak or maybe it's because of how close we were but i wanted to kiss him forever.

"do you realise what you've done to me?"

"no?" I slowly say unsure what he means by that.

Andrés takes a step back a small smile on his lips " come on, it's time for the meeting"
