We have always been enemies, or so the gods said. But was that actually the truth? Oh, of course not. It is truly hard to say that even gods that are supposed to know everything were mistaken, but that's how it is. In fact, us, Onyx, the species that were created to serve the gods were always jealous of those who served humans, but it wasn't hatred; not at all! If we could become allies and cooperate, the heavens would be such a wonderful place! Gods don't need servants, for they themselves are capable of doing anything they want. They never needed us. It was their selfishness that betrayed us and corrupted their minds. Oh, everything could have been so much different if Kail wanted to cooperate. But their hearts are filled with darkness, just like ours are filled with purity. But there is no light without darkness and vice versa. Therefore, pure darkness nor pure light can't possibly win, not without balance. Our pure hearts had a chance of winning that war, only if we filled it with few drops of darkness..
But we didn't, and so we got punished. Do the gods even know what justice is?
