The Same Day, Thirty Minutes Ago
Whilst all eyes were focused on the duel that was soon to commence between Jeturk Heavy Machinery, and Neo Zeon Systems who were backing Shin Sei Development Corporation, far away from the eyes of all groups, the Garenceries was hidden in an asteroid field as Zinnerman and the rest of the crew were waiting around for something. Whilst the Captain sat in his chair in silence, he stared up at the monitor ahead as the Garenceries was tracking something. A single mobile suit blip was on the radar and flying at high speeds towards the asteroid field they were hidden in, and the designation for the mobile suit read 'RX-02 Banshee'. Outside of the asteroid field, a shimmer of blue light shined as the Unicorn Banshee could be seen flying towards the asteroid belt and the thrusters powered up for even greater speeds. Inside the the Banshee, Marida sat at the pilot seat with a pressured and somewhat strained face as she tried to keep her senses straight, and in the jump seat next to her, Darren was sat with a performance monitor in front of him as he kept readings on the Banshee's systems.
"Flight systems still in the green. Increase to 75% thrust output." Darren said as Marida was breathing heavy from the stress of piloting the machine.
"R-Roger...!" Marida responded as she pressed the pedals down further.
With one push on the feet pedals, the Banshee's rear thrusters increased in power and they went flying even faster than before, throwing both Marida and Darren into the back of their seats as the strength of the Banshee's flight output was much stronger than anticipated. Even with the modified Normal Suit that was used to pilot the two Unicorn's, the amount of stress and the G-Force the Banshee was pulling proved to be much more of a challenge for Marida. After pulling a few sharp turns, Darren pointed ahead to the upcoming asteroid field with scattered bits of space rock.
"F-Fly like you're going straight into the debris field." Darren said as he held on tight to the screen in front of him as the Banshee's HUD began tracking small bits of debris to avoid.
"Darren..." Marida groaned as she began to feel uncomfortable amounts of pressure pressing against her body.
"W-Wait..." Darren said as they grew closer and closer to the asteroid field ahead, and once they seemed like they were about to collide with small meteor, he gave the next command. "Breakdown 0-6-0!" He said as Marida pulled back on the controls.
The thrusters on the Banshee's thruster pack inverted and pointed up as the black Unicorn dove down under the meteor, and they avoided the asteroid field as Marida made minor adjustments to avoid any debris that was ahead of them. After spinning the suit around the avoid an incoming piece of asteroid, the two of them made it pass the asteroid field and pulled back on the speed as they caught their breath.
"I-Incredible..." Darren said while huffing between breaths.
"How can the Unicorn be under his complete control when it does this much to its pilot...?" Marida said in wonder of your capabilities as her body still felt numb from how many G's she pulled from earlier.
"It's not quite there yet, but our marks aren't far off of what Y/N's average is with Unicorn." Darren said as he placed a hand on Marida's shoulder as he gave her a smile. "Good job, Marida." He said to her.
"Yeah..." Marida said as the two shared this little moment of theirs in silence before a communication alert came in from the Garenceries.
"Marida, time to head back." Zinnerman's voice spoke over the comms as Darren and Marida were snapped out of their moment and returned to their serious expressions.
"Roger. Returning to the ship." Marida said as she was about to take control of the Banshee again, but stopped when a strange rush of pain came to her head. "Aaagh!" Marida groaned in pain and held her head as this surprised Darren.
"Marida? What's wrong?" Darren asked as Marida continued to hold her head in pain.
"M-My head...!" Marida groaned out in pain as she slammed her fist down on the arm rest, trying any way to relieve herself of this insufferable feeling.
"Get out of the pilot seat!" Darren said as he got out of the jump seat and floated over to open the seat as he pulled Marida out. "Hold on, I'll get us back soon." Darren said as he placed her into the jump seat and put himself in the pilot seat.
Taking control of the Banshee, Darren brought the main console up and in put the coordinates back to the Garenceries as pressed the feet pedals down and began to fly back to the ship at more manageable speeds, but fast enough to hopefully get Marida help. While he was focused on flying, Marida had passed out in the jump seat from all the stress and all while this was happening, Darren couldn't help but blame himself for not being the one to pilot the Banshee in the first place. With his strong feelings of regret for what was happening to Marida, outside, the Banshee began to emit a faint gold glow around the edges of its armor as the Garenceries came into view and they made it back to the ship. After stowing the Lion back in a cage, Marida was checked on by Zinnerman as he took her back to her room to see what was wrong, while Darren was floating against the wall outside of the room waiting anxiously. After a few minutes, Zinnerman came back out and Darren peaked inside to see Marida unconscious laying on her bed.
"How is she?" Darren asked in a worried tone as Zinnerman turned off the lights in her room and shut the door.
"She'll be fine. Her body must have just crashed after suddenly coming down from the G-Force the Gundam was pulling. She should be awake soon, and I put an IV for her just to be safe." Zinnerman said as Darren clenched his fists in frustration.
"It should have been me who was piloting the Banshee...Not Marida..." Darren said as Zinnerman turned towards him.
"You aren't as good a pilot as her yet, and she was the one who insisted on being the one to test the Gundam's capabilities. You shouldn't worry about it too much, or else you'll put yourself in a similar situation as hers." Zinnerman said as Darren was surprised to see the Captain wasn't angry at all with him. "Come on, we have to head make it back to the Rewloola in time before it starts." He said while floating down the hall as Darren followed.
"Before what starts?" Darren asked as Zinnerman was confused by this question.
"Hm? Don't tell me you've forgotten..." Zinnerman said as Darren had a clueless look on his face. "Your brother's first duel, and the duel between our company and Jeturk Heavy Machinery." He said Darren finally remembered that it was today, and they rushed to return to the Rewloola.
While they were heading off to return to the main ship, your mother and father were having tea at the officers table as everyone was gathered in the dining hall of the ship, and on the large main screen that was moved to the hall for today's occasion, everyone waited with great excitement.
"Hey, how fast do you think the young master's gonna win?" One of the grunts said as bets were being placed at one of the tables.
"I'd say Jeturk's mobile suit lasts about 3 minutes before the lad takes his head." Another grunt said with a cigarette in his mouth as he was handling all the money that was being bet.
"To think Y/N would be this popular just a few days into his enrollment. What a lucky kid, huh?" Some other grunt spoke while handing over a wad of cash.
"Hey, put me down for $300 that Y/N beats the other kid in less than 2 minutes." Another footman said.
"Slow down! Slow down! I only got two hands to count!" The grunt with the smoke in his mouth said as he began to feel overwhelmed by all the bets and money he was being handed to him as your father watched from the officer's table with a small smile of amusement.
"At least the morale of our men is in high spirits." Char said as Iilya set her cup of tea down on the small plate in her hand.
"Making bets like that while almost all our shares are on the line and we risk going bankrupt, just how unaware are they of our situation?" Iilya sighed in disbelief as she looked to the screen that displayed a picture of you and Jeturk with your mobile suits in the background. "I wonder what Y/N must be feeling right about now..." She said Char turned to the screen also.
"This is his first battle against someone that isn't from our fleet. If I had to guess, he is probably trying to focus all his attention on this duel. Not only is our fate in his hands, but he has friends now that need to depend on him as well. If it were me in that scenario, I'd do whatever it takes to claim victory." Char said as he took a sip of his tea.
"It's not that I'm worried he's going to lose..." Iilya spoke up as Char set his tea down and glanced over to her. "...I'm just worried of what will come after, if he wins." She said as Char turned his gaze down to his cup of tea with a similar facial expression as hers.
"As the adults to our children, no matter what they may go through..." Char's voice spoke in a gentle tone as he gently placed his hand on top of Iilya's and made her look towards him as they stared eye to eye. "...It's our responsibility to support them. That's one of our reasons for being adults." He said as the main screen switched to the battlefield and cheers erupted from all the men in the dining hall as they turned to see both mobile suit crates arrive to the duel site.
"Yes...That's right." Iilya agreed as she held his hand and they watched as the Unicorn Gundam stepped onto the battlefield.
Sat in your mobile suit, both you and Suletta were extremely nervous despite you showing your poker face while Suletta looked like a nervous racoon. You took a deep breath to calm yourself a little as Elan's voice spoke over both yours and Guel's comms.
"Please recite the duel vow." Elan asked for you to start the vow as you looked at Guel through his screen with a serious look.
"Victory is never decided by mobile suit performance alone..." You started the vow as Suletta gripped onto your seat nervously and braced for the beginning.
"Nor by the skill of the pilot, alone." Guel responded as he prepared to defend his pride and reclaim what was his.
"The result itself is the only truth!" You and Guel spoke in unison as there was one thing left to say.
"Fix release." Elan spoke the final words of the vow as the duel was on.
"Hold on!" You warned Suletta while tightening your grip on your controls and bracing yourself in your seat as she was confused.
"Huh? H-H-H-Hold on?! To wha--HHHYYYAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Suletta's screams echoed through everyone's ear pieces and throughout the broadcast as the Unicorn launched off the cliff and soared high above in the air.
Whilst you were floating through the air, your scanners on the HUD were looking for where Guel was, and after a few seconds they locked onto and zoomed in to reveal he was hiding behind a small hill watching you.
"There he is." You said as you descended to the same ground level as him.
Pushing your right control stick forward, the Unicorn aimed the unknown beam rifle in Guel's direction, but it looked as if you remembered something important as you tapped a screen on the right, and the Unicorn put the large beam weapon away on its back.
"Hm? He's not going to fire?" Guel thought in confusion.
"Why did you put your beam rifle away?" Suletta asked in confusion of this action.
"I can't use that." You said as you tapped a few buttons on your side console and pushed your left stick forward.
With new inputs set, the Unicorn raised its left arm with the shield and pointed the dual Beam-Gatling guns in Guels direction as it unleashed a barrage of small continuous beams towards him. Guel pulled back behind the rock to avoid the initial barrage, and once the beams that were heading for him arrived, they made contact with the rock and shredded a chunk of it to pieces.
"Those shots were just a diversion. He'll probably try and switch to close-range and--Wha!?" Guel couldn't finish his thoughts as his console began beeping before his mobile suit suddenly peaked out and charged towards you.
"He's taking the charge?" You thought in surprise as you couldn't change your sights to track him, making you boost away while you fired your dual gatlings.
Guel's mobile suit glided and hopped all over the different elevations of terrain, avoiding the shots from your beam gatlings as this didn't seem like the movement he previously displayed in in his duels before. The Darilbalde suddenly boosted into the air and raised its javelin above its head before throwing it towards you, and attached to it was one of the mobile suit's arms. Having more time to react to this attack, you raised your shield as the center of it opened and the beam-edge of the javelin was deflected by your shield's I-Field that sent it flying in another direction. What surprised you though was that your warning systems alerted you to another direction, and you turned to see the previously deflected javelin had readjusted itself mid-air and was coming back towards you.
"Shoot! Suletta, brace yourself!" You said as she held on tight and you pulled back on your sticks.
Your thrusters fired and you flew off the cliff you were stood on to avoid the javelin that impaled itself on the spot you previously stood on. Looking back above you, Guel was floating through the air and falling slowly as you took this opportunity to attack and aimed your dual gatlings towards him.
"I'll be hit!" Guel said in shock as you fired both your gatlings, and a burst of your head-mounted vulcan cannons towards him.
With instinctive reactions, Guel turned his right stick and one of the shoulder plates on his mobile suit moved and defended him against the burst of beam fire. You descended and slid across the ground below as you watched in confusion as he descended to the weapon he had discarded as the arm that was lost on the Darilbalde had reattached itself and he picked up the javelin once again.
"This thing..." Guel muttered in frustration over the A.I. that was controlling his mobile suit's actions.
"A different mobile suit?" You said in confusion of this machine's abilities.
"Eh? Is it?" Suletta said in surprise as she looked at your HUD that zoomed in on the Darilbalde.
"That just means they're serious. Down lower your guard!" Miorine's voice spoke over your comms as you saw pieces of the Darilbalde detach from itself like drones and it split the javelin into two beam blades.
"Here he comes." You said as you pressed a sequence of buttons on your right stick.
The Unicorn's booster pack unit unfolded a small white device from its back and with the right arm reaching up and over the shoulder, you unleashed a beam saber as you fired more shots from your dual gatlings. The two larger pieces that broke off from the Darilbalde acted as a shield against your beam barrage before the mobile suit closed the distance between itself and the shields separated as he came down with his dual blades. The Unicorn parried both blades with the shield and side stepped to get around to his rear as you were about to go in for the finishing blow, but as your beam saber was about to come down on the Darilbalde's antenna, two smaller shields had come around and blocked the blade, defending the mobile suit's back.
"No way!" Suletta said in disbelief as you pulled back on your sticks to glide across the ground in the opposite direction as you avoided two drones that were armed with beam blades.
While you were on the defensive, Guel was having his own dilemma's in his mobile suit as he let go of the sticks slowly in disbelief as they operated on their own.
"Are you saying...you don't need my will at all?" Guel said as he was in great emotional turmoil, and in his troubled state, his feelings of feeling useless actually managed to reach you as there was a resonance you felt from the machine.
"Guel...?" You muttered in worry before the two large shield drones had forced the Unicorn sliding back a further distance away.
As you came to a stop and there was moment of freedom from the drones, the testing ground's sprinkler systems suddenly kicked on as water was pouring every where like a heavy rain. Raising your shield to aim your beam gatlings, you began fire another barrage, but grew shocked when the beam tracers were suddenly extinguished when they flew out the barrel, not even making it halfway across the field to hit Guel as you and him were both confused.
"It dissipated..." Suletta sad as you looked around at the water that was falling.
"The water's dispersing the beam energy..." You said as you looked to a console on your left and saw that rating for your beam gatlings' efficiency was in the red zone.
"Is it the heat management system?" Shaddiq who was sat with the rest of the dueling committee asked Rouji.
"Yes. With that much water being dispersed...beam weapons will inevitably be degraded." Rouji explained as you tried your head mounted vulcan cannons, only for them to be dispersed as well.
"Even the vulcan cannons are being rendered ineffective. With beams out of play, my only choice is close combat, and beam sabers aren't going to be of much help..." You said as your eyes gazed over to the console that displayed the weapon on your back, and it read out 'Beam Magnum' on its screen. "But..." You muttered with a hesitant voice as the Darilbalde's drone pieces came back to the main unit.
"Too bad for you." Guel's voice was heard as he spoke on his mobile suit's intercom. "Lady Luck is on my side this time!" He said as he came charging forward with his javelin blade that was still online.
The Unicorn raised its beam saber to defend against it as the weakened beam blade barely had enough output to stop the blade. Seeing that his javelin's beam output was higher than yours, the Unicorn raised its shield and pushed him away as you leaped back some distance away. While the committee was watching from their lounge, a communication came through as Miorine's face appeared on their screen.
"Stop the duel immediately! You should only resume after you've corrected the system error!" Miorine demanded as Elan was on her small screen that she was watching from.
"Duels are never held on equal terms" Elan responded in a monotone voice as this confused and angered Miorine.
"What are you saying?" Miorine asked in frustration.
"It's up to students' patrons which mobile suits and which support staff they can access." Elan said as the Unicorn was dodging strikes from the Darilbalde's javelin, and you were still hesitant about something. "Even if this accident were set up on purpose, that would still be part of his strength." Elan said as Miorine had a plan of her own now.
"In that case, you'll allow me to be part of Y/N's strength, won't you?" Miorine said before switching back over to her line with you and Suletta. "Y/N, can you hear me?" She asked as you were pulling back.
"What is it?" You asked as you blocked and parried Guel's blade with your shield.
"I'll stop the squall!" Miorine said as she boarded a maintenance machine and was about to head out.
"No!" You said which surprised both Suletta and Miorine.
"Huh?" Miorine said in confusion as you bashed Guel away and got some distance again.
"I promised you both that I'd win. I have to admit...I was already sure that victory was mine, and didn't anticipate something like this. I was also holding back for Guel's sake, but...it's time I show you both something." You said as they were left confused.
"What?" Suletta asked as she peered around the cockpit seat to look at you as you reached over and tapped the picture on the side console as the Beam Magnum came online.
"Some of our true strength...Me and the Unicorn's power." You said as the Unicorn's eye-unit shined brighter.

"Beam output, raise to seventy percent." You said as Suletta watched the side console as it showed beam output levels of all weapons reset to seventy percent. "Let's go, Unicorn!" You said as you pushed your sticks forward and pushed down on the feet pedals.
The thrusters kicked to life as you charged ahead and on the right arm that wielded the Beam Magnum, a beam saber unfolded and activated with no problem, shocking all viewers, especially Vim Jeturk who organized this sabotage against you. After closing the distance, you swiped across and sliced off the arm units that the Darilbalde held the javelin with, and in an ditch effort, the arm unit stumps were launched at you. Pressing a button on your right stick, the headmounted vulcan cannons fired and and destroyed the pieces that were flying towards the Unicorn, and aiming with your beam gatlings, you unleashed a continuous barrage that made the machine have to defend itself with all its shields.
"Why? Why are his beam weapons still effective even with the heat management system?!" Vim said in confusion and anger as he watched his machine be pushed back.
While the Darilbalde was on the retreat, the Unicorn gave chase through the rain as it suddenly threw its shield in another direction. The White mobile suit grabbed onto the beam saber on its right wrist and pulled it into its left as it dual-wielded weapons, and you continued fire with your Vulcan, leading the burst as it made the A.I. on the Darilbalde stop.
"Hey! You idiot! Don't stop here!" Guel yelled at the A.I. to no avail as he was shocked by what he saw behind him.
Turning in his seat, Guel couldn't believe when he saw the shield you discarded had flown around and gotten behind him as it fire the beam gatlings, forcing one of the shield drones behind him as it was blasted with ease from this barrage. Another shield drone flew in front of the Darilbalde to defend against the vulcan fire, but it too was destroyed in a matter of seconds from the superior fire power. Guel's machine fell on its rear end as the Unicorn came to a stop and you waited to see what came next.
"C'mon, Guel...That's not you, is it?" You muttered under your breath as you and Suletta stared intensely at the downed mobile suit ahead.
"No way you'd be tricked by a decoy that cheap!" Guel said in frustration of his situation before a voice spoke over his communication line.
"Guel!" The young ace was confused when he saw his father appear on his center console with an angered face. "What are you doing?! Finish them off!" He demanded from his son.
"Dad? How did you..." Guel said in confusion of him being at the academy before realizing something. "Was that heat management thing your doing? Dad! Why won't you believe in me?" He asked in a turmoil driven tone as the two beam blades on Darilbalde's shoulder flew off and attached to the missing arm docks on Guel's machine.
"If you want me to believe, then crush that White Devil!" Vim gave his son an ultimatum as Guel was even more despaired by this situation.
"Do you think I can't win if I play fair?" Guel asked his father as you began to approach him.
"That's the child in you talking. The result is all that matters!" Vim said as the two were butting heads.
"Brother, just focus on the battle for now!" Guel's brother, Lauda, spoke to try and refocus Guel's attention but Guel was beyond conflicted and angered at everything that was happening to him as he was breathing heavy and his body was tense.
"You're only saying that for Dad's sake!" Guel slammed his fist down in frustration as the shield you threw returned to the Unicorn's left arm and you put it back on the right wrist as it remained online and pointed outward.
"Why don't you understand this duel is bigger than just you? Children should do as their parents say!" Vim said as this was the breaking point for Guel.
"SHUT UP!!!" Guel yelled as he smashed his student handbook that was attached to his center console as his communication lines were cut and the Decision Making Extension A.I. was turned off, disabling the mobile suit.
"An error?" Suletta said in confusion before both you and her noticed the water had shut off, making you stop in place.
"Y/N! Suletta!" You two heard Miorine's voice as you looked down on your console to see her in some other place, and pieces of glass were floating around her. "All that's left now is for you to win." She said with a reassuring tone.
"I'm sorry, Guel..." You said as you pushed ahead and readied the beam saber on the Unicorn's right wrist.
Just as you were about to deliver the final blow, the main system of the Darilbalde kicked back online as it unleashed two beam sabers from its arm stumps and blocked the downward strike coming towards its antenna. You were surprised by this as Guel's voice spoke up from his intercom.
"This is my fight!" Guel said as he was pushing himself to the limit and managing to push the Unicorn back a little. "It's mine. Only mine!" He yelled as his thrusters came online at full power and he began pushing you across the field as you smiled.
"That's right...That's exactly right, Guel!" You yelled back at him through your intercom.
Now that you knew he was back in control and piloting the mobile suit his own way, you used the greater strength of your beam saber and slowly maneuvered it to slice off on of his beam arms before spinning around and slamming the shield into the Darilbalde's back, sending it flying. Before you could plot your next move though, something surprising happened when you looked to Guel's mobile suit, and the feet suddenly changed shape and fired at you, becoming anchors that were attached to wires. Guel yelled in his cockpit as the Darilbalde's thrusters fired once more and he dragged you and the Unicorn across the muddy ground as you cut one wire off, but couldn't cut yourself free of the other anchor as it sent you flying through the air.
"This guy is strong..." Suletta said while holding onto the frame of your seat.
"Yeah...He is strong. But..." You trailed off as the thrusters of the Unicorn fired and stopped the machine mid air as you stared down at him.
"Guel Jeturk cannot lose!" Guel yelled at you while unleashing his final beam saber as the last weapon in his arsenal.
"I'm sorry, Guel, but the difference between your Darilbalde and my Unicorn..." You said as you pushed the right stick on your cockpit, and the Unicorn aimed the Beam Magnum towards him. "...Is too great to overcome." You said as the targeting system locked onto a large rock behind Darilbalde before finally pressing the button next to your thumb.
With everyone's eyes glued to the scene before them, all their jaws nearly fell off when they saw the Unicorn fire one shot from the Beam Magnum. That single shot was larger than any beam rifle shot anyone had ever seen before as the blast flew through the air went flying above Guel's mobile suit. The power and force that was carried along with the shot made Guel hold onto his seat tightly as the energy and heat it output was so great, it melted the antenna on his mobile suit. After traveling for another millisecond, the single shot from your Beam Magnum collided into the rock you aimed at and a massive explosion erupted that sent a shockwave through the entire testing field, blowing down all the trees in the test site, knocking down Guel's mobile suit, and creating a massive crater that reached the metal foundation of the academy that was underneath the rocky ground of the battlefield. Not a single word was uttered among any who were watching as they watched the Unicorn slowly descend to the ground and land in front of the defeated Darilbalde as your name appeared overhead, claiming your first victory as a pilot in this school. While you had the Unicorn put the Beam Magnum away and took off your helmet, Suletta was struggling to comprehend what you just did.
"Damn it...I forgot to lower the output back down once the water stopped. I'll definitely get into trouble..." You said in a scared tone over what you just did as you powered off the main engine and the center console to your seat came down for you to exit the pilot's seat.
"E-Eh...?" Suletta managed to make a noise before all her bearings returned to her. "EHHHHHH!??!?!" She gasped in shock of the firepower you unleashed.
"EEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH????!?!?!?!?!?!" Shocked voices erupted from the Earth House as Nika, ChuChu, Martin, and their other friends were flabbergasted by the power behind the Unicorn.
"Hoohh?" Char let out an amused hum from his smiling lips as the men in the dining hall of the Rewloola were cheering and throwing around their betting money in victory.
"That's why I strongly advised against him bringing that thing to the school..." Iilya said with her hand raised to her forehead in slight frustration as she knew some form of consequence would come her way after this.
While you were catching your breath and brought Suletta's jump seat closer to the side of your seat, both yours and Suletta's student handbooks erupted with notifications and messages. You two began panicking as the line between you two and Miorine was still connected.
"W-W-What's going on?!" You said while looking at your student handbook with worry.
"Huh? Huweh?! Ms. Miorine! M-My screen is filled with words too! So many words! So many words, many words!" Suletta asked the white haired princess as Miorine sighed in annoyance.
"Why did you release all messages? I said, only from registered contacts." Miorine spoke to someone as the messages all receded and only a default notification from Elan, saying 'CONGRATULATIONS!' was displayed on your handbooks as you both calmed down. "You won. We won." Miorine said as you and Suletta looked at each other.
"I promised you two I'd win. I never intended to disappoint." You said to her as she was on your center console, and you two looked to Miorine who seemed pleased with a smile on her face.
"Now Suletta won't be expelled, and your company won't end up bankrupt!" Miorine said while pointing to you both through the screen.
"Then Aerial and you are both...safe?" Suletta asked with over-animated arm movements as you couldn't help but laugh at her silliness.
"That's right! Take that, you louse of a father! Ahahaha!" This was the first time either of you heard Miorine so happy as Suletta thought this was the right time to try something.
"G-G-G-Good news, right, Mio-Mio?" Suletta said with a happy smile on her face as she tried to call her a nickname.
"HUH!?" Miorine got up close to the camera with an irritated look as you both panicked.
"I'm sorry!" Suletta yelped in nervousness as she latched onto you in fear.
"What the heck is 'Mio-Mio'?" Miorine asked in confusion.
"Calling a friend by a nickname was near the top of my list, so...It's cute, isn't it?" Suletta asked with a hopeful smile on her face.
"Rejected. It's super lame." Miorine instantly shot down the offer as Suletta's smile turned to a frown, but your HUD picked up motion, and outside you saw Guel crawl out of the cockpit of his mobile suit.
"T-Then how about--!" Suletta's next suggestion was cut off as you undid the belts that held you in your seat.
"Rejected!" Miorine shot down the offer again.
"I didn't even say it yet!" Suletta complained before her attention was drawn else where when you tapped her shoulder and pointed to Guel who was stood outside.
Opening the hatch to the Unicorn, the right arm came up for you and Suletta to step out on as you set the arm to bring you two down to the ground as Guel watched you both come towards him. You stepped and hopped onto the ground first as you held out your hand for Suletta and helped her down before you both turned and walked up to Guel in an awkward situation as he remained silent and averted eye contact as Suletta felt like the silence needed to be broken.
"E-Excuse me...Um, uh...." Suletta was struggling to find the words to say before she defaulted to something else. "I-I'm sorry!" She said as this got some twitch out of Guel who remained silent. "I underestimated you. We both did..." She said as Guel finally turned towards her as you two boys stared at this stuttering Mercurian girl. "Well, you were, you know, really strong." She said as she found the courage to step forward and offer a handshake, as the daylight lights from above shined down like the calm after the storm as this left Guel stunned and awed at the girl he was staring at.
You smiled in agreement to what Suletta said, but that smile turned to a look of surprise and confusion when Guel suddenly grabbed hold of Suletta's hand with both of his own, making you and her yelp from the sudden action.
"Suletta Mercury..." Guel trailed off as you and Suletta stared in confusion and stood in awkward stances as he got down on one knee and stared up at her with a bright look in his eyes as the light shined down on his face. "Will you..." He started before slightly tightening his grasp of her hand as the next words that came out of his mouth left you both stunned. "...marry me?" He asked as you and Suletta were now the ones with your jaws almost falling off as this duel came to a mind boggling and confusing ending.
"What?"
