CHAPTER 2: WE MET
It was Asim and Maleeha, our cousin's wedding in New York and we were all gathered on their barat function, Mom and dad couldnt come as they were recently shifted to Texas and Dad was hell busy in his new business and with his new business partner who seemed like a very dedicated business man.
“Arrghhh God! Why do people get married?” Hussain snorted making a terrible face.
“People get married because marriage is the second most beautiful relation one can have on earth” I replied all serious, Hussain rolled his eyes while sipping the cola from his bottle.
“Hey! Wait, second? What’s the first?” Umer asked narrowing his eyes and I looked at him putting my empty Sprite bottle on the table.
“The one you have with your child” I replied with a smile and Umer nodded. “But see! That is again because of marriage, you get married start a family….happiness just popped out like a party popper” I added and they smiled..
“Tu kab chalees (40) ka ho gaya merey dost?” Usman asked chuckling and I laughed shaking my head.
“Hoon to athara (18) ka he abhi but wo alag bat hea tum sab mein ziada aqal wala hoon” I flaunted boastfully. “And yes there is no doubt in that, marriage is really beautiful, I have seen the beauty in my parents’ relation” I added proudly, I always admired my parents they were the perfect couple I have ever seen in my entire life.
“Bhai merey! Tu to char he karey ga….intihaa-e-shok check karo bachey ki” Hussain said aloud and gave a high five to Usman laughing.
“I think I should talk to Shaista Khala about finding one for you.” Usman patted my shoulder and I narrowed my eyes.
“Finding what?” I asked.
“A party popper.” Hussain replied before Usman could say anything and everyone burst laughing, while I smacked the back of his head, unable to stop laughing myself.
“But man le Hussain yar! Shadi hai to meetha laddoo.” Umer said smiling and Hussain shook his head making a face as if was disagreeing completely with him. “No seriously, look at them….specially Asim, look how perfectly happy he is” Umer added as he looked at the bride and groom sitting on the beautifully decorated stage on their wedding function talking to each other a perfect smile was plastered on their faces.
“Perfectly happy? huhn!” Hussain made a face. “I will ask Asim, after a couple of years when he will be gathered around a bunch of gandey gandey chotey motey Asim and Maleeha.” he added in a funny tone and everyone laughed aloud.
“Abay o! wo dekh” Usman suddenly looked up and pointed cautiously with his eyes towards a certain direction.
“Oh teriiii! Item hai boss” Umer gawked finding a hot shot girl flaunting her perfect curves in a skin hugging chiffon elegant black saree, laughing, jerking her long black hair back with the back of her hand she looked pretty but itni bhi nai k ye saley zaban nikal ker ghoor rae thy usey.... huhn!
“5” I glanced towards her saying carelessly, the rest of the boys looked at me as if I was out of his right mind.
“5? Seriously? bhai 8 se kam nai hea bachiii” Hussain said still looking at her and I rolled my eyes.
“Yeah! 8 out of 100” I said sarcastically and Usman chuckled shaking his head.
“Muhammad Shehryar Asif! You have seriously no taste for beauty and sense of appreciation. Honestly” Umer said in a matter of fact kind of a tone and I laughed shaking my head.
“Aam si bandi hea yar, kia mar rahe ho tum sab…..” I shook my head disapprovingly.
"yeah! he would find some princess Diana for himself" Usman said sarcastically.
"hayeee Diana bhabi! sunney mein he kitna sweet lagta hea, nai?" Hussain said faking a sweet kind of smile and I chuckled.
"Abey o! koi Diana Shiana nai.... i will find a loving wife for myself who wouldn't be perfect but together we will make life a perfect place. I bet you that" I said winking at the end and the trio wooed a loud making me roll my eyes.
Aunties and uncles kept on going up on the stage doing the rasamein and all that while we just sat their sipping our drinks and gossiping like desi aunties and more over gawking at every pretty girl passing by.... well, excluding me.
“Am bored guys” Stretching my arms wide I yawned and Umer faked a smile looking at me. “To? Nachen hum? Mujra lagaen yahan Mr America k liye?”
“Tu nai saley! Hum nachen ge…tu nacha to sari awaam hall se bahir ho gi” I smiled back and they laughed while Umer stayed quiet making a face.
“Come on Sain! Time to claim the dance floor” I looked at Hussain who was still looking at the girl who was now talking to some random cousin.
“Stop eating her with your eyes bakriii!” I smacked Hussain’s head and got up from the table, adjusting my tie knot a little; tucking the button of my lush black velvet coat I approached the stage. Hussain got up and followed me as well while Usman and Umer being the worst dancers remained on their seats….. izzat to sab ko he aziz hoti hea.
Reaching near the stage I and Hussain stopped and looked around everybody was busy in talking, aunties in gossips, kids busy in irritating their parents while screaming their lungs out and men busy staring wives… own or not… doesn’t matter.
We exchanged a glance, “I guess Dhoombros got an awesome idea for their next video naming as “Desi weddings be like” I said sighing and Hussain chuckled nodding his head.
Hussain looked around and almost ran towards the DJ, saying something in jis ear he smiled and handed Hussain a mike, he ran back towards me and the music at once stopped making people look around.
“Hello! Hello! Mike testing… hello! 1 2 3…... 1 2 3. Can you hear me? Hello!” Hussain spoke in the mike as if really testing the sound system and heard people chuckling, laughing at his expressions. I noticed the girl in black saree now coming a little ahead and stood near the dance floor with her arms crossed and head tilted a little to left she was looking at….. Me?. Raising an eyebrow I looked back to Hussain.
“Saley! Aa gai awaz teri… agaye chal ub” Usman yelled a loud and Hussain laughed a little.
“Well, we have a bad news” Hussain’s expressions suddenly went grim and everybody looked at him with dead serious expressions even I looked at his face frowning a little.
“And the news is…. Guys we won’t be having any khana shana here tonight” He announced seriously on the mike and suddenly the hall got filled with whispers and voices, looking at me he winked and I chuckled at once.
“O ji! Chachi ji… fikr ni karo tussi assi kerde aan kuch” I said looking at one of the elderly lady sitting at the front row sofas who looked the most worried, making strange as hell faces.
“Per nachna pe si chachiii jiiii” Hussain said mischievously in the mike and the whispers broke up into chuckles and giggles, understanding his joke. “jado nacho ge to khana mil si” he added with a wink and the aunty literally posed shy.
“Oye tussi nacho putter ji…Sadi te umer ho chali aae. Assi te buzurg ho gaye aan!” An uncle said aloud smiling.
“Uncle ji be careful… you are sitting among ladies who can get really offended on this comment of yours” I raised an eyebrow, saying in the mike and everyone laughed a loud specially the desi aunties.
“je twaadii Dolly aunty jaii nai hen assi putter ji” An aunty remarked making Hussain and I burst out laughing this time.
“te firr nacho naaaaaw” I said smiling, trying to convince them and they got up. Surprised, I and Hussain looked at each other before breaking into a chuckle.
“Music!!!!” Hussain turned and looked at the DJ who showed him thumbs up and within a couple of seconds the hall started thumping with music.
Ho veera chocolate boy boy
Tha kudiyon da joy joy
Mithi bate karke saari kudiya le gaya
The aunties literally danced their hearts out on the floor, few forgetting their husbands behind few their kids… me and Hussain put our feet in total synch, claiming the evening.
Veera vanilla la and mauka jab mila la
Hothon pe deke favour sada chhumi le gaya
Oh bhai teri jawani the end ho gayi
Oh teri sari diwani sadi friend ho gayi
Going up on the stage I grabbed Asim’s and Maleeha’s hand and almost dragged them down over the dance floor.
Oye dj nu boolwado
Bulwaado booldwaado vaado ve
Oh dj noo boolwado
Sade veerey di wedding hai
Botalein khulwado
Sade veerey di wedding hai
Almost everyone was now gathered on or near the dance floor even she, dancing with Maleeha and flaunting, making almost every guy on the dance floor gawk at her. the way they danced looked as if she was quite close to Maleeha… well, never saw her around.
Oye twitter pe hai trending
Twitter pe hai trending
Sade veerey di wedding hai
Long time se pending
Sade veerey di wedding hai
Everybody in the hall was clapping and singing, enjoying with us specially girls who just went crazy on our moves cheering our names as if it wasn’t a wedding function but a Dhoombros concert or something….. But then again they were not to be blamed after all we were The Dhoombros.
Koyi good luck toh karwado
Sade veerey di wedding hai
Botalein khulwado
Sade veerey di wedding hai
Hayo mera veera ho veera sadda veera
Spinning around I accidently bumped into someone, looking up I found her looking back at me, her breath heavy and hair wayward, her eyes shining like stars and face all flushed… for a moment I forgot to blink my eyes. She was definitely beautiful maybe Hussain was right…. 5 kuch ziada he kam tha us k liye.
“Sorry!” I heard her saying as she walked passed me and I turned to look at her.
“Starings ho rai hen buhat…khair ho bhai!” Hussain said in my ear while snaking his arm around my neck and I glared at him.
“Shoky bakriii!! chandd na kha leen merey hathon” I shouted a loud eyeing him and he chuckled.
Finally the dinner was announced and we had to stop that racket, we had created on the dance floor, I, Hussain and our cousins got busy in talking on our table as we brought their platters there and settled down on seats.
“Bhai I want kulfiiii” Suddenly a sweet kid came near our table and tucking on Umer’s pent he made a cute puppy dog face.
“Ali yar! Go and ask Mama or ask Minahil api” Umer made a face and Ali pouted.
“oye khotey! Mar jaeen ek din thoos thoos ker” I smacked Umer’s head and got up looking at Ali’s face.
“Come on champ! I will get you a kulfi and we won’t share it with Umer bhai, happy?” I extended my hand towards him who smiled ear to ear looking up at my face and held my hand quickly.
Ali and I strode towards the buffet table, rolling my lower lip between my teeth I looked for the kulfi but I couldn’t find that on any table.
“Sorry champ! No kulfi left I guess” I scooted down on my heels, going on one of my knee I pouted looking at Ali who made a sad face as if was about to cry.
“Oye oye rona nai… rona nai. What about a chocolate muffin?” I hurriedly asked trying to stop him from crying.
“No! I want kulfii… I want kulfiii…” Ali started thumping his feet on the carpeted floor and I sighed a little looking around when suddenly a glass bowl came face to face me and I moved my head back a little.
“Here! Your kulfi” looking up I found the same black saree girl standing there, with the world’s prettiest smile she was bending a little towards Ali who excitedly grabbed the kulfi and smiled warmly.
“Thank you” Ali stuffed his mouth with the dessert and beaming at her he ran off, I was still looking up at her face… while sitting down on my knee.
“You can get up or else people would get a wrong impression…..” the girl said clearing her throat, hiding her amused grin. I looked down absentmindedly, and in a second I realized my stupidity, I was still over my knees right in front of the girl as if I was proposing her or something.
“Oh! Yeah…..” I hurriedly got up and straighten my coat.
“You dance really well” she said with a smile and looking up at her face I realized once again, 5 was definitely an understatement, 8 were okay for her.
“Thanks” I smiled back and for a minute or so we just stood there saying nothing feeling awkward.
“umm okay then…..” feeling awkward I mouthed and she smiled tilting her head a little left then right and got a side, I walked past her slowly.
“By the way am Sara” My feet halted as she spoke and I turned to look at her. “Sara Rehman am Maleeha’s friend.” I cursed myself for being rude…. I should have been saying this… damn it!
“Oh great! Well, am Shehryar Asif… call me Shehry” I said smiling and Sara smiled back. “Am Asim and Maleeha’s cousin” I added.
“Shehry!” she mouthed my name, giving me a strange tickle deep down somewhere. “Nice meeting you” she added.
“Same here” I said and with a smile both of us turned back towards our tables.
“Dance means calories loose which means more intake of food… sad reality guys”.
Reaching near my table I heard Hussain saying, I chuckled at his expressions. Sitting down I looked at my plate of biryani and suddenly my appetite got lost looking at the cold rice.
“yaawr! Thandi biryani” I made a face pushing it aside picked up a slice of radish from the salad’s plater.
“kis ne kaha tha k kulfi bananey beth jaooooo” Umer said with a meaningful smile and I rolled my eyes, definitely in salon se kia chupa reh sakta hea.
“Nai jeena terey bajo
Nai jeena tere bajo… nai jeena … nai jeena
Mein tenu samjhawan ki… na tere bajo lagdaa jiii”
Slow soft music started once again as everybody now got busy in stuffing them self.
“Wah! Kia gana hea yar!” Hussain said admiring the music. “Dedicated to Shehry from our very own sweet si kaali saree wali bhabi… actually honey wali bhabi” Hussain raised his coke bottle up in the air and said aloud making me almost jump up chocking on my morsel of biryani I took from his plate, while the rest of the boys cheered their drinks with Hussain’s.
“kameeno! Abhi ghanta pehley line marne ja rahe us per…or ub bhabi? Han!” I eyed them.
“Hussain has a rule” Hussain raised his hand up in air silencing me. “I never head on a girl who heads on bhai” he winked at the end and I rolled my eyes. “And she was full on heading on you Shehry!” Hussain said whispering this time and my showed him my fork making his eyes popped out.
“wesey you two can make an awesome couple” Usman said mischievously looking at his mobile screen and I frowned.
“oye Dikha dikha!” Umer and Hussain said together and Usman showed them his screen, having the picture of Sara standing with me over my knees in front of her, looking up at her face. Hussain and Umer both wooed aloud and I sighed, rolling my eyes.
“God! Seriously guys?” I tried to hide my grin, as I felt a little heat emitting my cheeks. “Grow up Usman! And delete this picture” I said trying to sound all serious and Usman rolled his eyes keeping his phone back in his coat’s pocket.
“Usman! Bluetooth it to my cell then delete it” Hussain said seriously, then made a kissy face at me ignoring my glares.
“Mujhe bhi” Umer said and I looked up at him, picking up a slice of cucumber from the salad platter I threw it on him who caught it in his hand and ate it up with a wink at me.
***************
“So you actually fell in love with her? Like love at first sight?” Sufiyan asked the moment I stopped saying anything anymore, he narrowed his eyes, as if didn’t believe the fact.
“I don’t know” I simply stated. Yes, it was the fact I didn’t fell in love with her the time I saw her.
“But still you liked her, no?” he asked.
“Yeah! I did, she was pretty really pretty” I said like being in trance.
“Remember what Mom used to say about pretty girls?” Sufiyan asked with a smile on his face and I chuckled at once remembering his Mom, one of my favorite desi aunts I have ever met.
“puter jiiiii, sirf shakal changii hone se, zindagi wich sab changa nai ho jaanda” I said mimicking her tone and Sufiyan laughed hard leaning back in his chair.
“Yeah! Man mothers are always right you see” he winked at me and I chuckled nodding my head.
“Khair meri chorr tu suna apna. Kia scene hea tera?” I asked trying to divert his attention from my pathetic miserable life and he sighed deep.
“mein kia sunaaoon yar bus Alhamdulilah life is good…. Far better than what I expected, Allah has bestowed upon me way more than what I ever deserved” Sufiyan said seriously, a warm smile was there on his face and I felt so good.
At least koi to tha jo khush tha…. satisfied tha.
“So Mr famous marriage counselor when are YOU getting married?” I asked and he chuckled.
“Islam mein chaar jaaiz hen dost, per mera abhi doosri ka koi irada nai” he said with a wink and I literally went speechless.
“You are already married? Seriously? When? How?” I asked in utter shock making him laugh at my expressions, he was the one who was always so reluctant in marriage business and we always had a tight debate on this hot topic where he always stood against getting married early.
“Long story dude!” Sufiyan said sighing and I frowned; he chuckled again shaking his head.
“You? I mean Sufiyan Rasheed, the most boring person on the face of earth fell in love?” I asked in a dramatic way and he laughed.
“teri ye darhii (beard) dekh ker to mein kabhi bhi yaqeen nai ker sakta k tu ye ishq wishq k chaker mein para ho ga Saley!” I added chuckling and he shook his head with a warm smile on his face.
“Ishq?” for a moment he remained quiet and I looked his face searching his expressions I wonder how calm he looked… how serene and peaceful he was.
“Yes! You can call it ishq but it was ishq-e-haqeeqi” he added, that soft calm smile never leaving his face and his eyes sparkling.
“I want details” I said leaning back in my chair and he smiled.
“You want me to get fired from my job?” he chuckled and I shook my head.
“Bro! The court is paying you for the sessions…. Chilax!” I said carelessly and he chuckled.
“So what do you want to know?” he asked and I smiled.
“Everything; how you two met? How u fell in love? That secret of ishq-e-haqeeqi and above all, how on earth you got this daarhii man?” I asked and he laughed at the end.
“I got admission in PU in Lahore, she was my senior in psychology department, I got famous in quite short span as one of the most wanted bachelor of the batch” he stated in mock boasting way winking at me and I chuckled shaking my head. “And she… well she was the most reserve, sophisticated, well behaved and above all hell religious girl” his eyes wide and his expressions showed the love and respect he had for that girl.
He took a shot pause while I picked up my coffee mug from the table and started sipping.
“So cut the long story short, one day we, the juniors were gathered in the cafeteria and over a bet with a few senior boys I agreed upon framing her, you know, that famous Shahrukh’s line chey (6) din lerkii inn” he winked again and I laughed aloud.
“Then? Did you frame her or you got framed in the frame of her love?” I asked dramatically and he chuckled.
“Actually something really strange happened Shehry! Meeting her, knowing her made me ponder over my own life…. my life style, the way I used to spend my days and nights. I realized how fake my life was…. How shaky my views were about everything” Sufiyan’s expressions went grim slowly and I put my mug back on the table.
“She made me realize the importance of my deen…. My Lord, she made me shuffle my priorities Shehry!” he took a pause, I remained quiet…. Someone somewhere in me was shaken badly by hearing all this but I remained quiet…..
“She was so… so composed yar, that I used to wonder if such kind of a strong character girl even exists in today’s world” his tone was full of wonder.
“Her ideas and values were so firm that I started feeling guilty, I felt I was doing wrong with her and then one day I went straight to her and told her everything… I told her I was framing her and all that” I looked closely at his face though he wasn’t looking at me.
“What happened then?” I asked and he looked up.
“What do you think?” he asked.
“Chaperr khaai ho gi tu ne Saley!” I said seriously and he remained quiet.
“nahi?” I asked as he spoke nothing just smiled.
“Naheen” he shook his head a little. “She listen everything and then without saying a word she left. For many days I kept on trying to talk to her… just talk to her with no bad intention but she avoided me.” he said. “Then one day I was searching for a book in the library when suddenly I felt her at my back, without even turning Shehry somehow I knew it was her….” Sufiyan said looking down at the table.
“What did she say then?” I asked.
“She forgave me, she said it was her fault she trusted me….. She said that… that all men are animals grazing in the meadows of girls and it was her responsibility to guard her dignity, she said she shouldn’t have trusted me…. she shouldn’t have trusted an animal” I felt his tone was low and eye fixed on the mug, where his finger was making circles.
“I couldn’t say a single word Shehry!” I felt the embarrassment in his words.
“She left me standing there all speechless and then….” Sufiyan sighed deep. “Then I don’t remember exactly for how many days I couldn’t attend university, I remained at home…… growing beard” he said touching his beard and both of us laughed.
“For many days I just pondered over what I did and what she said, in that process of realization I came closer to Him, Shehry! You won’t believe I started praying five times a day wo bhi masjid mein” he winked and I smiled warmly at him.
“uff! seriously I can’t believe it man” I said in awe.
“I just wanted forgiveness… I knew I hurt her a lot and I just wanted her to forgive me us k bager sakoon he nai tha kaheen” he said.
“What happened then?” I asked as he remained quiet.
“Then I got the news… that she has left the University, I knew somehow somewhere she felt the same for me as I had started feeling for her and just to avoid the contact she left the university…. Being such a bright student, doing her final year she left the studies because me. I started feeling even more guilt ridden” Sufiyan stated in a grim tone.
“Uncle Aunty to pareshan ho gaye hon ge tujhe aesey dekh ker” I said thinking about them, I still remember his parents were the most concerned parents I have ever seen. They used to get worried about the minutest things in Sufiyan’s life.
“Yeah Mom specially, and then I told her all that happened and I told her that I want to marry that girl” Sufiyan said.
“And you two got married?” I asked raising my eyebrow.
“Not that easy it was but yeah! in short we got married, Alhamdulilah. I just thank Him for letting her come in my life and for making it so much better and making me so much happier” I smiled looking at his face, deep down someone inside me was envy of him.
“Rahima and I are not perfect people we are full of vices and loopholes but yeah! We are perfect for each other, Allah has made us perfect for each other” Sufiyan said I could feel satisfaction in his tone and deep down I cursed myself for not listening to Mom…. For not listening to Hussain and for doing whatever I wanted to do with my life.
“And the cherry on the top is Riyaan, our son” Sufiyan smiled and turning a frame towards me he showed me a picture of his son, for a moment I just held the frame in my hand gawking at the cuteness…. He had definitely his father’s smile and eyes all sparkling emitting shine spreading all around me. I felt my eyes getting watery and I put it back on the table.
“MashaAllah he is adorable, saley! Tujh per nai para…. Bhabi must be really pretty” I winked at him and he smiled nodding his head a little.
“Shehry! You must ponder over what you are doing, it’s the biggest decision and could be the worst at the same time” I remained silent as he spoke.
“Soch samajh ker faisla ker yar” Sufiyan got up from his chair and came to my side, dragging a chair he sat next to me. “Tu janta hea talaaq wo amal hai jo jaaiz bhi hea or Rab ko napasand bhi” he added softly, I felt the concern in his voice and looked up.
“Per mein us k sath zindagi nai guzaar sakta Sufiyan! Ek qatil k sath zindagi nai guzar sakta mein” I said slowly and he looked down, his hand resting over my shoulder.
“She killed my child, I wonder how on earth a mother can do this” I said, still wondering. “She preferred her work, her profession her trip to Paris over my child… our child” I added looking down in my lap and felt his hand pressed a little over my shoulder.
“Shehry! aurat bari ajeeb cheez hea yar, ye samajh mein akser der se aati hea, you should have given her time man, before giving her divorce” Sufiyan tried to convince me.
“I have told you Sufiyan! I have given her divorce bus ye teen maheene poorey ho jaen so I could finally free her from all the chains and shekels of this relation so that she would be free for doing whatever she wants to in her life” I said in a firm tone. “kha makha mein shadi ker k zindagi jahannum bana di us ki” I added almost to myself and herd him sighing.
“Acha saley! To merey paas muft mein betha hea tu? khudi faisla ker liya” Sufiyan said in mock anger and I smiled.
“tujhe kahani sunni thi to suna di…. Ub faisla to mein ker chukka hoon, wo nai badalney wala” I said and stood up from the chair, he followed suit. “usey mera bacha qubool nai to mein bhi qubool nai hona chaiye” I felt pain on my own words.
“She is coming in the evening” Sufiyan said as I picked up my phone putting it in my jacket’s pocket I looked at him. “I mean, you should come I think you two should be discussing things togeth……
“I-don’t-want-to-discuss-anything-with-her” I cut him in the middle gritting my teeth and he rolled his eyes. “There is no room for discussion left Sufiyan” I added turning towards the door.
“or ub tu ghar chaker laga kisi din, ub terey office nai aaoon ga kahaniyan sunaney, or wesey bhi sirf hamarey jhagron k kissey reh gaye hen, wo mein tujhe sunaney wala hoon nai” I turned to look at him and he smiled shaking his head. “so do come at my place along with bhabi and Riyaan, Mom and Hussain are here, they would be really happy meeting you after a long time” I smiled and he extended his hand.
“Sure man” we shook hands and I stepped out of his room, with a heavy aching heart I sat inside my car and shutting the door I rested my head on the backrest. For uncountable moments I sat there with my eyes shut and heart bleeding…. So many days, so many night uncountable memories roam in my mind making my eyes pooled up with yesterday’s sorrows and today’s regrets.
Tum ne acha nai kiya Sara! Tum ne acha nai kiya, kia nai kiya mein ne tumharey liye. Sab kuch chor diya; apna shok, apna passion apna ghar… apna bhai wo bhai jo jan se piyara tha, Maa ki nai sunni tumharey aagey…. Shaid isi ki saza di hea mujhe merey Rab ne” tears started rolling down as I opened my eyes, my vision was blur, raising hand I wiped my eyes with the back of my sleeves. New tears pooled up and rolled down blurring my vision once again.
“sahee kaha Sufiyan ne, hamara her amal Rab k liye hona chaiye, hamari muhabat, hamari nafrat… her her amal bus rab k liye ho to zindagi mein koi gham na ho…. koi nadamat na ho” I had never thought in my life that only after one year of my married life I would be divorcing my wife, it even sounded like a nightmare and today this had become a reality, the bitterest reality of my life.
I don’t know what came in my mind; wiping the tears once again I pressed the button and drove my car out of the parking lot.
My heart started racing as I sped up towards Sara’s place… for one last time before the final verdict I wanted to have my answers, I wanted to know what did I do to deserve such cruelty from her side… I wanted to calm my heart.
