The Cure Pt 2.
Everything seemed so different as I walked down the cracked streets of Seoul, brighter more saturated in colour. Colour I had forgotten, the way the sky seemed to glow with life I believed to be gone. The cure had finally worked, my life had been returned to me, no longer consumed by a selfish drug. My body had been bombarded with pain and agony but I had never given up.
Jin had brought the cure to Jackson's crew, although it means the end of the itch I do believe that Jessica means more to Jackson than power. He truly loves her, through all difficulties in life he will always love her, And she will always hold his heart above her own.
JB had finally managed to let go, Eve had died a few hours ago and he now looked towards a future he believed he had lost. A future in medicine, helping those who couldn't help themselves. He is so bright and with his determination he will make it far in life. Maybe even save a few lost souls.
Namjoon had finally succeeded in his goal, his dream and now he seeks further knowledge. A brilliant mind like his has no limit, no bonds. He will never stop as long as he has something to solve, a new mystery to occupy his thoughts. He has felt pride and success and now he wants to spread his dreams to those who lost the ability to see past their nightmares, lost the ability to see the future beyond the pain.
Jhope has finally smiled again, his smile seemed to light up the whole room. It was so pure, so perfect. He has promised to never give up and spread hope and joy to all those he meets. Suga has finally seen the world as something other than negativity, he finally sees joy and peace. He has found himself lost in the possibilities the world has to offer.
While Jin has decided to always stay with Namjoon, take care of him. Tend to his brilliant mind and prevent his downfall. He truly believes that Namjoon has more to offer this lonely world, more solutions to impossible problems. He had always taken care of the boys of bighit. He tended to their wounds and kept them on their feet.
Saying goodbye took everything I had, they had become great friends, no they were my family. I had to fly, I had to find my true purpose in life. But as I wished them well in their futures I felt as if I walked away from all I knew, leaving some of the most important people i would ever meet behind.
In my hand I carried a single dose of 'The Cure' that we had fashioned. It's purpose was simple, it was for Mark. Although he had died, he had always drove me forward. He never let me surrender, he pushed me to survived. Rain had begun to fall, the water quickly forming puddles in the flawed pavement. The rain managed to mask the tears that lined my cheeks. The streetlights seemed to glow abnormally bright and the small droplets of water sparkles beautifully. That's when I saw him.
He seemed to emit light, a soft welcoming glow. Warmth, love. His hair golden, his eyes so bright, so full of life. His smile so jovial, untouched by the pain of the real world. An angel, a being of purity and peace. His arms open, welcoming, so close yet so untouchable. He was gone but his embrace felt so real, so familiar, so comforting. The light at the end of the dark tunnel of life, the light that pulled you forward. Drove you through the pain, suffrage, and agony of life, the reward after a long day. So beautiful yet so unreachable.
I walked away from his grip, his warmth. As I walked his presence followed, always by my side pushing me on. His heart had become mine, his soul seemed to flow with my own, as one. My heart beat for the man I had lost. Although I walked alone his presence kept me company, kept me alive. I never had walk alone for he was always there in my heart.
As the sun rose above the horizon its rays pierced the rain, and warmed the earth. This was the first sunrise where I was finally free. I was finally able to see my future, see past the next dose. Dream. Plan. Create. Survive.
Thank you all for sticking with this story, I sure hope you enjoyed it and I hope this ending didn't disappoint. Never forget to dream.
