Welcome to the Crystal Writing Awards, a contest for you to shine in!

In this writing contest, we will be hosting both a journey contest and a hunter contest.

In the journey contest, we will be accepting about 20-25 of you to compete in a contest that will last multiple rounds, until we reach the final challenge, (the finals) a write off between two writers who have won their way to their spot. Of course, that's a little further down the line.

 On starting the journey contest, you must be following us, as it helps increase the quality of the contest. You must also take the pledge to follow the winner of the contest that you're entering in. There are no exceptions to this rule. It is what makes this contest so great to win, as the winner would have put a great amount of effort into their entries. Just imagine it, you winning, and then receiving all these followers because of it. Do not break this pledge, we can tell whether you went through with it or not :) When the first Journey contest begins, the 15-20 who have entered will be given your first challenge. This could be writing a short story from the inspiration of a quote, song lyric or saying. It could be writing something based on a blurb, or image.

At the end of each round two people will be eliminated from the contest-but don't worry, you can try again when the next journey contest comes round, but in the meantime you can enter the hunter contests. As the journey contest progresses the challenges will get harder, with prompts needing more skills and depth to write about. Don't worry though, we won't go too hard on you. In the hunter contests, anyone can join at anytime. This contest offers a prize for the winner of each contest (more on prizes further down) and will be offering contests that those who either didn't manage to get into the journey contest on time, have been eliminated from the journey contest, or simply just want to write and possibly earn some prizes for it. The hunter contest is similar to the journey contest, in which you will be presented with the prompt that you will use in your writing. We can't wait to see your works!
