"The Secrets We Keep" by iamnothansolo

Plot: 5/10

Characters: 7/10

World: 6/10

Grammar: 7/10

Description: 7/10

Emotional Engagement: 8/10

Intellectual Engagement: 4/10

First Line: 6/10

Would I recommend it?:

It's painfully predictable in a lot of ways at the beginning. Adrian's secret is a nice contrast, but it comes up way more later on and makes me want to stop reading from the beginning. In the adventure genre, there should be a lot of gradual character development, so it probably would've benefitted you to make Neveah not have feelings for Adrian until later, and maybe not make it obvious that Adrian has feelings for Neveah. For chapters in his P.O.V., that's fine (it adds dramatic irony), but his actions in Neveah's chapters are a dead giveaway. It's so predictable at the very beginning, I don't find it engaging enough to recommend it because people who read it will probably get bored right off the bat.

"Rogue in Paris" by SydPanda5

Plot: 8/10

Characters: 9/10

World: 5/10

Grammar: 10/10

Description: 9/10

Emotional Engagement: 8/10

Intellectual Engagement: 8/10

First Line: 7/10

Would I recommend it?:

I would definitely recommend this story because it's well-written, but I do think there are lots of aspects that could be improved upon. For one, I'd love for there to be more description of the I.S.A.I.A. and how it works. What technologies do they have, how did Harper, Amber, and Gus become a part of it (I'm working on a similar story right now, so I feel that it's very important to mention), how are people split up into groups (Bluejays is mentioned, but I want it to be expanded on), etc. You also seem to describe everyone in great detail, whether they're important characters or not. Maybe they'll become important later, but it seems to me that every single character that appears is described in almost as much detail as the main characters, and that shouldn't be the case. That being said, the story is incredibly well-written as far as I've read, and though there are small issues with the world and character descriptions, I'd definitely recommend this story.

"DeVil's in the Name" by Sugar_And_Spice125

Plot: 2/10

Characters: 4/10

World: 2/10

Grammar: 7/10

Description: 6/10

Emotional Engagement: 5/10

Intellectual Engagement: 3/10

First Line: 8/10

Would I recommend it?:

The story from the first few chapters seems to be all over the place, so you kinda lost me. There wasn't enough backstory, really, and a lot of aspects of it were unrealistic or confusing. Cruella and Hex met and immediately got close, people immediately assumed they were together (that one wasn't too unrealistic), and she acted like she was extremely close to him and his family right off the bat. I guess Ector chastised her for it, but when he had that temper tantrum, the entire story got out of control. I didn't even know what was happening by that point and at a lot of other points when you didn't form proper transitions and descriptions of scenes. For that reason, I don't think I would recommend it. The grammar and start are good, so I think you're writing is doing well, you just need to work on planning out the story and putting it to a steady pace.

"Ocean Storm" by VictoriaLachac

Plot: 3/10

Characters: 5/10

World: 8/10

Grammar: 10/10

Description: 4/10

Emotional Engagement: 6/10

Intellectual Engagement: 7/10

First Line: 4/10

Would I recommend it?:

The story is certainly well-written, but there's a lot that could be added. More imagery, more character appearance description, a more definite main conflict, etc. The biggest issue I have is the lacking main conflict. Though maybe there is one, it isn't clear enough to make readers interested. I feel like there definitely should've been more imagery at specific scenes like when Eva's mom is beating her or when Eva's dad is taking them sailing. Your writing is fine, it just needs some work. The events kept be somewhat hooked, but the lacking plot don't convince me to recommend it.

"Echo: The Girl that Time Forgot" by @Queen_of_the_forest1

Plot: 2/10

Characters: 7/10

World: 8/10

Grammar: 4/10

Description: 6/10

Emotional Engagement: 5/10

Intellectual Engagement: 6/10

First Line: 9/10

Would I recommend it?:

The world is good and I think the plot described in the blurb is very interesting, but the contents of the story don't add to it. I think the storyline is very creative and has lots of potential that's being wasted. And since there are frequent grammar mistakes, I wouldn't recommend it. There's lots of work to do on it, that's for sure, but if you keep in line with the plot, it'll be great!

"Bosque's Outlaws" by Zidhi_the_Zebra

Plot: 6/10

Characters: 5/10

World: 8/10

Grammar: 9/10

Description: 9/10

Emotional Engagement: 7/10

Intellectual Engagement: 8/10

First Line: 10/10

Would I recommend it?:

I think this story is going places, that's for sure. It doesn't seem to match perfectly with the blurb with what's written so far, but it's somewhat lining up. Your writing skills and my engagement kept me hooked, so I'm hoping you'll continue writing. For now, I'd make sure you keep a steady pace and keep on track with the main conflict to keep the plot going. Other than that, I think you're writing is great and I would probably recommend it once some more chapters are added.
