Later that night I cook dinner and set the table. As I set the table I then hear someone say "what smells so good?" I look and see Zach standing there. I say "oh hello Zach, I am cooking dinner" he smiles and says "smells delicious....oh i'm wondering, did you get the Rose this morning?" I smile and say "I did, it was beautiful...tell me Zach, do you ever feel like maybe, just maybe there is someone special out there that gets you?" he opens his mouth but then I hear Damon say "sis can you come here!!" I sigh and say "Ill be right back" he nods and I walk away. I go to the sitting room and say "may I help you Damon?" he then says "yes, you relax and I'll cook" I start argue but he then gets up, kisses my head and walks into the kitchen, as I sit there I then hear Damon say "you like my sister don't you?" I then hear Zach say "yes I do...." Damon then says "well you seem like a good guy but listen, Ember has many things she probably wont tell you due to her being very...unique, so don't push her" I sigh and walk outside. I sit on the porch and say "why did this all have to happen...why couldn't mother and father have let me die..."

Flashback

i'm in the garden playing with Sapphire and Axel, i'm 6 years old. I climb the ancient tree and sit there giggling, all of a sudden i hear someone say "gotcha!!" I laugh and say "awe come on Axel!!!" he laughs and climbs down. I start to climb when all of a sudden i hear Damon yell "Ember!!!" I then fall off. I land on the ground and everything goes black. I stand in the darkness and see a pink and blue light. As I start to walk to the light i then hear voices saying "please stay", "don't leave us". I begin to run and see black claw like hands grab me, I scream and then my hands glow blue. I shoot the demons and stare at my hands terrified, I then get up and run to the light. I open my eyes to see my mom, dad and a witch, I sit up and my father hugs me crying. I then say "D-Daddy, my eyes look weird" he then looks and gasps, my sister holds up her hand mirror and I see that my eyes that were once a beautiful brown color are now blue with a hint of pink. I gasp and start to cry.

End of Flashback

I sit there crying and then I hear "I know, I remember that day too" I look and see Sapphire. I hug her crying and she says "sis don't cry, it's ok..." I then say "how? after that day I was never the same! and then Axel turned evil, and you all were given powers....why didn't Mother and Father just leave it alone and let me die instead of bringing me back along with some demons?" I cry and she holds me. As I cry all of a sudden i hear "because they loved you" I look and see Damon and Zach. Damon hugs me and says "we all remember that day Ember, it's ok..." I then say "no it's not!! if i didn't climb that stupid ancient tree I wouldn't have died and mother and father wouldn't have had to bring me back!! and all of this wouldn't have happened, you and sapphire wouldn't have powers, Axel wouldn't be evil and the whole kingdom would be safe." I cry and Damon says "Ember..." I then feel Zach hug me and say "look Ember, I don't know much about you yet but without you, Seth, Ryan and I would have never met you and the kingdom would be in despair, they brought you back because they love you and so do we, we are here for you and we will help you no matter what" I hug him back and nod.
