NEW BONDS IN ALOLA!

After they spend the night in Professor Kukui's house, the quadruplets decided to explore the Alola region, in Melemele Island alongside Goh and Ash.

"Ash, will you be honored to have a pokemon battle with me?" Charles asked Ash, letting out his Pokéball.

"Of course, I'd love to battle you, Charles." Ash smiled.

"Alright then, I'll be the referee." Azalea stood in front of them.

"Hey Ash, how about we do a 3 on 3 battle? You in mate?" Charles proposed to Ash as he seemed to be delighted and fired up.

'3 on 3 battle?' Thought the rest.

"Sure!" Ash nodded.

"Alright boys, bring out your pokemon!" Azalea announced.

"Arcanine, light us with your power!"

"Pikachu, I choose you!"

Both Ash and Charles had brought up their chosen pokemon. Eclipse and Azalea were surprised to see that Charles had another pokemon up his sleeves. Eclipse used her rotom phone to scan Pikachu.

Pikachu, the mouse pokemon. An electric type. Pikachu have pouches on their cheeks that can store electricity, which they release if threatened. Male and female Pikachu have different shaped tails.

"So Ash's Pikachu is a male." Eclipse said, looking at Pikachu's tail.

She then also scanned Charles pokemon, Arcanine.

Arcanine, a fire type pokemon. The evolved form of Growlithe. Arcanine is known for its bravery and fierce loyalty. Growlithe evolves into Arcanine through its use of a fire stone.

"Battle begin!" Azalea stated.

"You go first, champion." Charles smiled.

"Alright then, you asked for it. Pikachu use quick attack!"

Pikachu immediately use quick attack as the trio were stunned by its speed.

"Arcanine, match Pikachu's speed by using fire fang!"

Both Arcanine and Pikachu charged at one another with their strong moves. Although Pikachu was one second faster, they both simultaneously took damage.

Pikachu then used electroweb, which trapped Arcanine. Taking advantage, Pikachu used thunderbolt and it electrocuted Arcanine but it did not go down, however it did make it paralyzed. Pikachu once again used quick attack, this time, Arcanine wasn't able to counter or dodge it.

"Arcanine is unable to battle." Azalea said as Pikachu and Ash celebrated.

"Thank you Arcanine, take a good rest." Charles genuinely smiled, bringing Arcanine back to his pokeball.

"Alright Ash, let's see how you handle this." Charles chuckled, bringing out another Pokémon.

Braviary took center stage, prompting Goh to check Staraptor on his Rotom phone.

Braviary, the Valiant Pokémon and the evolved form of Rufflet. Because of its devotion to its friends, Braviary will continue battling even after sustaining injury.

Braviary then used his speedy brave bird, too fast for Ash to call a move for Pikachu. This time, it was Pikachu that was unable to battle.

"Pikachu's unable to battle."

"You were amazing out there, buddy. Take a good rest." Ash smiled, picking up his Pokémon.

"Dragonite, come on out!" Ash brought out his second pokemon, Dragonite.

"A dragonite." Eclipse hummed as she scanned it into her pokedex.

Dragonite, the dragon pokemon. Dragonite is said to live in the sea. With its small wings and large body, it can fly faster than the speed of sound.

Throughout the whole day, the others watched as the boys were having a pokemon battle. In the end, both Ash's dragonite and Charles Staraptor have been defeated. The boys let out their final pokemon, Ash's final pokemon was Lucario and Charles final pokemon was Diggersby. Eclipse started to scan their pokemon on the phone.

Lucario, the aura pokemon. A fighting and steel type. Lucario uses a power called aura, which allows it to sense human feelings.

Diggersby, the digging pokemon. A normal and ground type. Diggersby can dig through hard rock walls with the power of a construction excavator.

Although it was a rough but fun battle, the victor who came out on top was Charles.

They were about to head out to the city but they were interrupted by Team Rocket. Everyone brought up their pokemon to attack Team Rocket's pokemon, Solar was about to call move to Mudkip, until he heard a cry somewhere. While they were busy battling, Solar was busy focusing on the mysterious sound. He looked around and felt the sound closer than before.

He went through the bushes and saw an injured pokemon on the ground. Solar slowly walked towards it, careful not to make it run away. He opened his backpack and brought out a potion and a bandage. While Solar was treating it, the pokemon was staring weakly at Solar.

After the others were done battling Team Rocket, Eclipse felt Mudkip nudging her. She looked behind and saw that Solar was gone.

"Solar's gone!" Eclipse looked everywhere but didn't see him.

She was about to go look for him, until Solar came out from the bushes. Eclipse and Azalea sighed in relief that he wasn't missing.

"Solar..is that what I think it is?" Charles gasped, taking a closer eye on the Pokémon that he had in his arms.

"Yup, an injured pokemon." Solar nodded.

"Solar, that's an Eevee. That pokemon has so many evolutions to pick from. Eight of them to be at least." Azalea crossed her arms, surprised that he didn't know what Pokémon he had.

"Woah." Solar eyes sparkled as he was stunned. "But let's not focus on that. We must bring Eevee to a pokemon center." Solar shook his head as he started to get worried for Eevee

"Right." Goh nodded.

Everyone left the forest and tried to find the closest pokemon center. The faster they get into a pokemon center, the faster Eevee could be healed. While they were waiting for Nurse Joy to finish treating Eevee, the gang wondered where they're gonna head out now.

"Goh and I will continue catching some pokemons. What are you guys going to do?" Ash said as he looked at the trio.

"Hmm, I don't know. The main reason we went to the Alola region was to compete in the pancake race but now that it is over.." Eclipse hummed, putting her finger under her chin.

"Maybe look around in the Alola region? After all, we did come here, it'll be a waste if we just leave without looking around." Azalea crossed her arms as she winked at Eclipse.

"Yeah, there are some Pokémon I see in the Alola that I never see in the Galar region." Charles nodded, agreeing with Azalea.

"Wait, you guys came from the Galar region?" Goh widened his eyes.

"Charles is but Eclipse and I were not originally from the Galar region." Azalea shook her head.

"Eclipse and Solar are from Hoenn, where are you from, Azalea?" Ash asked her.

"Tacita city, located in the Arata region." Azalea scratched the back of her head.

"The Arata region!?" Both Ash and Goh said simultaneously.

"Yup." Azalea nodded. "Something the matter?" Azalea tilted her head.

"It's just that, the Arata region-

The door opened and everyone looked back. Chansey brought the stretcher and it seems Eevee is in full health.

"Thank you for waiting, the pokemon you've brought has fully been healed." Nurse joy smiled.

"What a relief." Solar sighed in relief. "Next time, try to be more careful around your surroundings, alright?" Solar softly padded its head.

Eevei!

(Okay!)

"Come on, let's go." Solar turned back to his friends. "Hope to see you again one day, Eevee." Solar looked back at Eevee for the last time.

Eevei?

(Huh?)

"Hey hold on a second, Solar I think it wants to come with you." Azalea said as she looked at Eevee.

"Huh?" Solar hummed.

"Of course, you did take care of it while it was injured." Charles nodded.

"I am sure Eevee would love to stay with you after what you did to help it." Eclipse smiled as she looked at her brother.

"Eevee.. You really want to stay with me?" Solar looked back, staring at Eevee.

Eevee!

(Yes!)

"I think that's a yes." Nurse joy giggled.

"Alright then." Solar brought out a pokeball. "Go pokeball." Solar slightly touched Eevee with his pokeball.

After one wiggle, two and three. Solar was able to catch Eevee.

"Yay! I just caught..an Eevee!" Solar raised his pokeball high as he was really happy.

"Good for you, little bro." Eclipse patted his head as she was proud of him.

"Thank you big sis." Solar chuckled.

Solar opened his pokéball and now, Eevee was out.

"Eevee, this is Mudkip. I hope the two of you will get along." Solar grabbed Mudkip and put him closer to him.

Mud!

Eevei!

"Would you look at that? They're friends already." Ash laughed.

After that, the quadruplets said goodbye to Ash and Goh before they went to their destinations. Who knows, maybe one day, they will cross paths once more.
