WANDERING COMPANIONS

Even before the sun awoke, they were already done packing their bags and leaving the Arata region and heading to their first destination, the Galar region. Now, Eclipse, Solar and Azalea were on the plane. Zoroark decided to transform into a Zorua and rested on Azalea's lap.

"I am so excited to go to the Galar region! I wonder what kind of pokemon that the region has in store for us." Solar beamed, stretching out his arms.

"Yeah." Azalea nodded as she caressed Zoroark, which transformed into a Zorua.

After the plane finally landed on the ground, the girls went and took the train. When they made it to the train station, they grabbed themselves a ticket for the next train. Suddenly, they heard Solar's stomach growling.

"Hey Azalea, while we wait for the next train, do you know a place where we can eat?" Eclipse asked, as she noticed that her brother was hiding his face from embarrassment.

"Sure, I'll see if there's a place nearby where we can eat." Azalea brought out her rotom phone and checked if there was a nearby shop that sells food.

After looking and looking into her phone, she finally found a place that was quite close to the station. She told the siblings to follow her and they did. After walking around, they stopped at a shop. Immediately, Solar went and checked out the stand. He looked and saw some tasty treats.

"Wow, what are these, Azalea?" Solar eyes were glistened as he felt more hungry.

"A traditional food in the Galar region, scones." Azalea chuckled.

"I want one!" Solar jumped happily and excitedly, wanting a scone so bad.

After Azalea brought some for them and they're pokemon, they've all settled down on a table.

"So gooood!" Solar kept munching down on those scones.

Kip!

"Careful not to choke on them." Eclipse nervously laughed as she took a piece of a scone.

"Woah! Is that a Zoroark?"

Azalea and Zoroark looked behind and saw a boy who looked to be the same age as the women and he seemed to have a Pokémon on his shoulder. Having grey eyes and black hair. He also had spiky headphones on his head.

"Uhh, yes it is. It's my pokemon." Azalea nodded.

He then looked over and saw another unfamiliar pokémon next to Solar.

"And there's even a Mudkip." He glanced at the confused Mudkip, who had a scone in his mouth.

"My name's Charles and this is my pokemon, Braviary. You three don't seem to be around here." The boy smiled.

"I am Eclipse and this is my little brother, Solar. The two of us are from Littleroot town in the Hoenn region." Eclipse introduced herself and Solar.

"Hello there." Solar waved hello.

"My name is Azalea and I am from Tactia city in the Arata region." Azalea introduced herself.

Charles widened his eyes, he could've sworn he had heard of the name Azalea before.

"Ah! You're the winner of the Tacita conference in the Arata region ten years ago." Charles gasped.

"Hehe, guilty." Azalea scratched the back of her head.

"I am from Postwick town in the Galar region." Charles grabbed a chair and sat down with them.

"So, where are you two headed in the Galar region?" Charles asked them as Zoroark, Mudkip and Braviary were playing.

"Well, wherever our next destination takes us." Azalea said.

"I see, I know this region in the back of my head, so I can show you guys all sorts of things." Charles chuckled as he crossed his arms.

"Amazing, we can't-

Mudkip!

The trio looked at where they're Pokémon were screaming at, it was the evil Team that Scarlet led and they captured both Mudkip and they quickly ran away.

"No way, they've followed us here?" Eclipse whispered under her breath.

Suddenly, she saw Azalea running after them with full speed, behind her are Zoroark, Solar and Braviary.

"Ah, Solar wait!" Eclipse exclaimed, her big sister instincts kick in, worried for her little brother.

"Come on, Eclipse! We can't let them get away." Charles said.

"Right!"

After running and chasing after the evil team, Charles and Eclipse couldn't keep up with Azalea's and Solar's speed.

"Man, they have stamina." Charles stopped and took a deep breath.

With Azalea

"Braviary, can you try to break the box?" Azalea asked the bird and it started using any types of moves in order to break it.

Although Braviary tried its best to break the box, it wouldn't work. Azalea didn't know what to do, she didn't want to tire out Braviary but she had to save them or else. She was about to give Zoroark a command, when suddenly, she felt something was coming their way and her hunch was right and it completely destroyed the box. Before Mudkip fell, Braviary caught it.

"What the! What just happened!?" One of the members was confused about what just happened just now.

"Are you alright, Mudkip?" Solar went on his knees to see if his pokemon was okay.

Kip!

"You are a very annoying brat, ya know!" One of the members went down and was very furious.

They've brought a Krookodile and a Haxorus on the field.

"Braviary, use brave bird on Krookodile and Zoroark use dark pulse on Haxorus!" Azalea gave an order to them and they listened to Azalea.

Their moves both hit their opposing opponents, although it hit them, it didn't seem to back down.

"Krookodile use aqua tail on Braviary and Haxorus use dragon claw on Zoroark!"

They were too quick for Azalea to call out a move to Braviary and Zoroark. Azalea quickly stood in front of the little Pokémon, ready to feel the impact.

"Azalea!" Solar exclaimed but Zoroark and Braviary stopped him from going to her, instead, protecting him.

"I won't let you hurt them!" Azalea shouted as she didn't move a muscle.

Azalea closed her eyes, expecting for her to get hurt. But instead, she wasn't. Azalea opened one eye and saw that the pokemons and her were protected. She looked up and to her surprise, Azalea saw a familiar pokemon, Latias!

"It's a Latias!" Solar widened his eyes.

Charles and Eclipse finally caught up to them and they saw that the Pokémon were freed. Eclipse looked farther and saw a pokemon protecting Azaleas from the bandits.

"Woah, it's a legendary pokemon!" Charles said in awe.

Latias uses a dragon pulse against the enemies and they are blown off to the sky.

"Are you guys alright?" Eclipse went into panic mode and went to check on Solar and the little Pokémons.

"We're okay, Eli." Solar reassured her.

"Thank you so much, Latias." Azalea gently hugged Latias and it hugged her back.

And like before, Latias vanished. Leaving the Quartets by themselves.

"I've decided!" Charles screamed, making Solar and Eclipse slightly jump.

"Heinh?" Eclipse hummed.

"I'll travel along with you guys on your journey from now on. How's that sound?" Charles chuckled.

"That sounds great! We still don't know our way around Galar." Eclipse laughed nervously.

"I think it's a great idea as well." Azalea nodded.

"Yay! A new buddy. We're going to have so much fun." Solar jumps in excitement.

The sky was now orange and the quadruplets headed towards the train. After that, they walked to the pokemon center to rest for the night. While the others were sound asleep, Azalea was quietly writing a letter.

Dear Leah, remember I told you that I've met Eclipse and Solar? Well, we are travel companions now! We decided to embark in the Galar region first. The three of us went and grabbed some tasty snacks called scones, I think they're Solar's favourite now. We've met this guy named Charles, the same height as me and probably the same age. He had a Braviary as his Pokémon. While we were chatting, Team Phoenix captured Mudkip. We, of course, chased them down. You wouldn't believe what happened next, Latias, one of the legendary pokemon suddenly showed up and save us. Surprise, right? After they were gone, Charles wanted to join us on our adventure and I couldn't say no. And now, we are now four exploring the Galar region and maybe other regions as well. I have to go to sleep now, I'll tell you what kind of trouble we'll run into tomorrow, hehehe. Love you!
