Aunt Nancy - Sam, get down here this instant (Points the rolling pin at her son as he steps downstairs)

Sam (takes his coat) - I was coming, point that thing away.

Aunt Nancy - And where do you think youre going? Your Father is coming home after 2 months!

Sam (Looks at her) - Mom?! I know that! Im going downtown to get a new charger for my phone, you accidently soaked it along with my coat remember?

Aunt Nancy - Good thing I did, or youll be stuck on it all day long.

Sam - Good one. Yeah no I barely use it these days because of these stupid examinations!

Aunt Nancy - Get back here Before 4:00 pm!

Sam - Yes Mom Ill be here!

{Opens the door and meets up with Rachel, his next door neighbor}

Sam - What are you doing here? (Walks pasts her)

Rachel - Came to pass on the strawberry jam my mom made.

Sam - (Raises one of his eyebrows) Theres nothing in your hands though

Rachel - Huh I mustve forgotten it back home (scratched her forehead) Where are you headin of to?

Sam - None of your concern (Looks at his watch)

{A car stops in front of them, and a girl steps out}

Girl - Thanks, Mom, Ill be fine here!

Rachel - Oof, her again?

Chelsea - Yes me, came to pay a visit!

Sam - Hey Chigio!

Chelsea - Hey Simba!

Sam - Dont call me that (Shakes head)

Chelsea - You liked it when you were young! Anyway, where are you going? Is Uncle Jace home yet?

Sam - Not yet! Hell be here in an hour or two (Steps down the stairs) Im heading downtown to get a new charger!

Rachel - Whatre you doing here? (Nudges Chelsea and glares at her)

Chelsea - Oof, You spoiled brat! I have no intention of having you as my cousin-in-law, so save it.

Sam - Arent you guys coming? [Havent heard or noticed anything]

Rachel - Uh, yes-lets go! (Walks ahead of Chelsea)

Chelsea - Sheesh, whats up with her?

{Rachel looks at the house standing opposite of Sams}

Rachel - MOM! ILL BE HOME IN A WHILE! IM GOING OUT WITH MY FRIENDS.

Chelsea - Dude! Who you calling friends?

Rachel - My friend and his cousin (Rolls eyes at Chelsea)

Aunt Maddie (Looks out the window) - You were going to get me fruits for the jam! Where you off to?

Rachel [Hopes Sam didnt hear her] - Downtown, Ill be sure to get you the fruits then.

Sam - Lets be quick [Didnt pay attention] Chigio? Rachel?

Chelsea - (Stops glaring at Rachel)Yes, lets go!

Three of them, walks towards the un, conversing along the way.

Aunt Maddie (shakes head) - Kids these days!

Aunt Nancy {joins in} - I know right! Shame! In our days, we used to work hard like anything!

Aunt Maddie - Times change I suppose (Walks over to nancys yard) You have a mess of a niece!

Aunt Nancy - (Looks at her and smiles) And you have quite the daughter right there! I wonder if the whole neighbourhood heard her!

Aunt Nancy and Aunt Maddie - Honest since old days! (And laughs)

After 3 hours -

Chelsea - Welcome back, Uncle! Sorry were late, Sam took long (Shakes hand with her uncle)

Uncle Jace - Hope youve been practicing! This time, youll be learning about outlining and colour!

Chelsea - Cant wait Sam! Hes here!

Sam - Hey, Dad! (Does a special handshake and hugs him)

Uncle Jace - You look the same!

Sam - Course I do! Its only been 2 months.

Uncle Jace - Your mom told me youve been stuck on your phone the whole time---

Sam {Breaks in} - But---

Uncle Jace - But, your grades are perfectly acceptable!

Sam - Yes! I know! (Pulls out a thumbs up)

Rachel (Stands up) - Hello Uncle, Im Rachel, I moved next door a month ago!

Uncle Jace - Call me, Mr Jace! Or Jace!

Rachel (Nods head) - Of course!

Chelsea - Wow (Acts surprised) You have a really kind side inside that façade of yours.

Aunt Nancy - Chigio! Dont be snooty!

[Aunt Maddison enters with a box}

Aunt Mads - PIZZA!

Rachel - Again?! Uh Mom?

Chelsea - Yeah, I dont like pizza much! I hope it doesnt have olives.

Sam - I kinda agree.

Aunt Maddie, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jace {Together} - GO TO THE LOBBY YOU UNGRATEFUL BRATS!

Chelsea - Sheesh, whats up with them? (climbs the stairs)

Sam - I guess we were kinda unreasonable! Right?

Rachel - Yeah, I guess!

Chelsea - I suppose so

Chigio, Sam and Rachel watched the sunset from up the porch, the adults talk about the generation changes, and the cat lazily rolls over the carpet.
