Leah POV
it's been a week since I moved in with fang and things have gotten less awkward. I still don't fully trust him and demand that I cook all the meals in case he tries something funny. Today we're going to the shopping district cause we both need new clothes. "Hey Leah, you ready to go" I hear fang call. "Yeah, I'm ready." I had decided to wear a yellow sundress and hat since it was rather calm today. When we got to the mall, Fang stopped. "Look" he said "I'm gonna go buy some new clothes and parts. You should be safe shopping here in the monsters only district of town." With that we went off in separate directions, me happy that I could be rid of him for a little while.
Fang POV
As I made my way through the invention store(just role with it) I began to think about Leah. It's been a week and she still acts as though I'm a monster 'although that's not new' I quickly finished my shopping and went to go meet up with Leah at the entrance of monster town.
Leah POV
I saw Fang near the entrance and decided that I would truly test if he was a pervert. While his back was turned, I rushed up and pressed my boobs against his back and draped my arms over his shoulders.
"Hey loverboy, miss me?" I said jokingly "L-Leah what are you doing?" He said blushing "just hugging you." I say pressing harder "now let's go home for some fun" suddenly he pushed me off blushing. "What are you doing! You can't just flirt with me like that. If you get caught you'll be departed and I'll be thrown in jail." My eyes start to water as he said this "We-Well fine I'll just leave." I yell as I run off toward home to pack my stuff. "Wait Leah" fang called after me, but I ignored him. Suddenly I was pulled into an alley and slammed into a wall. I saw 3 men standing near me. All 3 of them reeked of alcohol and smoke.
Goon 1: "hey baby how bout I show you a nice time."
I tried to fight, but the other two held me down. The man reach out to me but before he could touch me I heard a shout
Fang POV
I tracked Leah to a nearby alley when I saw she was being assaulted. "Hey jackass!" I yelled at the goon " What the hell are you doing" I popped a cigarette into my mouth lighting it. The man looked at me before laughing " She's just a monster so why do you care and what the hell is a shrimp like you gonna do about it? Common give me your bes" that was as far as I let him get before slamming his head into the concrete. The other two guys let go of Leah and pulled out their weapons, a switchblade and a gun. I signed before unwrapping the bandages around my arm, revealing my cybernetic arm

"Now it's a fair fight" I say. The idiot with the knife lunged toward me, but I side stepped, pitting my cigarette out in his eye before slamming him to the ground(if you get this you will get an automatic follow). The other guy was a bit smarter. He raised his gun toward me. I activated my eye(see media) which glowed green. The man fired 5 shots but with the help of my eye, I easily dodged. I then rushed the man, delivering a low blow so hard I'm sure he now counts as a woman. As the thugs lay groaning. "Listen you punks. I don't care if Leah is a Minotaur, she's still a girl and so long as she stays under my roof, I will protect her." I made my way over to a Leah who was crying. I helped her up and we slowly made our way home

Leah POV
As I lay in bed trying to sleep, I kept thinking about Fang. He was so kind and brave back there despite me being the one who caused it all. Suddenly my heart beat fast and my face flush red. 'What is this? Could this be what mama called a crush?' I imagined fang in full battle form, fighting for my sake. 'Yes it is' I thought ' and I will make him my loverboy'
