Time to go, but never truly apart.
The Rose Home, {one last time}~|•
"I can't believe we're leaving, we were just beginning senior year and now its over, we have to find our way in the world now." Roman mumbled as he sat in a circle with his friends, they had decided to take a moment to bond before they all separated for a long while to come. "Yeah, it feels like yesterday when I met you at school." Thalia chortled and they all smiled happily, it didn't mean they wouldn't be close even if they were apart, they would be close just not in the same neighborhood or practising magic at Roman's house anymore, though they would miss it.
"So Europe?" Roman questioned Allysa who was blushing. "We are actually going to England, that's where Danton is finishing med school, and I got into the architecture program at a varsity there." Allysa explained and everyone awed. "Are you sure you're not just following the D', he is well endowed." Thalia teased and Allen smacked her arm. "Hey I'm being real." She chortled and they all laughed. "After my horrible streak with bad guys, I need a break, I need to get away from Halkrest and live my life without the memories of death, and coming back to life, crushing on an ancient super evil dude, then having to kill him and his hoard of ghouls, yeah that wasn't pretty times." She explained and they all understood where she was coming from. "Just make sure you aren't running away Allysa, whether we like it or not, this will always be our home." Marc stated and the girl nodded with tears in her eyes. "How can I forget, I'm gonna miss waking up to you naked in the hallway, and my twin brother getting dirty with my mate because of a curse gone wrong." She exclaimed making all of them frown in amusement then they all burst out laughing. "To be honest, those were fun times." Vincent pitched in as he laughed harder with his coven, it was true they had the best memories here, and they would always have them. "I love you guys." Allysa muttered as they all huddled around her. "Its time." Danton mumbled as he stood by the door and they all nodded and got up from where they were sitting. "Keep in touch, and tell me when you get there." Allen sniffled as he hugged his sister, for the first time they would be apart. "Its time to let her go babe—." Marc coaxed and Allen let her go, she had to be her own person. "I love you." Allysa whispered as she let go and walked toward the car. They all knew she would be okay, she had to be.
They all watched Danton and Allysa leave, the twin's dad had already said his goodbye but he was already in Europe waiting to dote on his kids once they were there. "So you're going to France?" Thalia questioned Marc and the now 6'7 hulking mass of man nodded. "Allen got into the fashion school there, I also got into the criminology program there, and they are the best in several countries along with catering to both human and mystic students, so we'll be okay." He explained as Allen came to hug his side, his long raven hair being swept up in the wind gently.
"You'll be a country away from them so you'll be alright." Roman stated and Allen nodded, they would be okay, for him, going away meant starting another chapter in their lives together with his mate, experiencing something new and different, being in Halkrest wasn't bad but there was a whole world out there, and in order to learn and perfect his dream to design, he needed to live, love and thrive, without always having his complete supporting system, it would be him and Marc against the world for a long while. "Don't forget to send me the food, I also want to see the architecture there, its rumoured to hold tales of magnificence." Thalia asserted and Roman nodded in support. "I stand in solidarity of food alone, ratatouille being the first thing I want." The hybrid exclaimed and they all laughed, how they would never get bored of all that was them, just as they calmed down a rune appeared in Allen's palm it flashed for a few seconds until he clenched his fist. "Its evening there right now, we already set up, so we need to rest, so we can have somewhat of a none awkward first day." Allen explained as Marc placed a kiss in his hair. "I can't watch you go, but I have to, promise me you'll visit." Vincent cried and Marc held the boy in his embrace calming him. "You're welcome to visit anytime and we'll visit too little one, you'll never miss us that badly." He soothed the boy until he let go. "I'm gonna miss your soufflé." Roman interjected and they all laughed. "Of course you will." Allen boasted just as a portal opened behind them, Vincent out of all of them couldn't bare see his second set of parents go, but he had to, they needed it and so did he, it didn't mean they didn't love him or they wouldn't be back, they would be back, at the drop of a pin if he commanded it, and because he knew this, he willed himself to let go, he had to. "Bye." He waved as the two witches walked through the portal.
"You're gonna be okay kiddo, you're gonna be here to protect everyone, and thats a big job, we've taught you all that we could, sheltered you from the world, but now, its time you learn to do it on your own, when you need us we'll be here, I promise, you just need say the word, and we'll come." Thalia assured Vincent as he cried. "I know Yas." He whispered as Zach showed up with Lex in his discovery. "You're gonna have to assemble a new outcast coven, be badass, and also implement that plan, all the next leaders that are here promised to help in any way they could, but if they don't, just call me and I will sort them out." Roman stated as he too smothered the kid in hugs and affection. "I know, thank you for letting me be part of this family, for teaching me how to love, how to live and how to never give up even when I feel like I can't go on." Vincent exclaimed, his gratitude to Roman dripping in each word he said.
"You and I are so alike, so when you needed me, I was there, and when you still need me, I will be there, you know where I'm going even if its almost a country away, you're a portal away, and you can visit any time even you miss Cape of good hope." The witch asserted and Thalia jumped into the hug. "I don't know who I would be right now if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be the person I am today and I know that, its why out of everyone, being separated from you hurts, you took me in, taught me magic beyond imagination and helped me earn my name, you've done so much that everyday I thank the Goddess I met you." Thalia cried as she hugged the witch and they all cried until alpha Hashad tugged them off Roman, they all wondered when he showed up.
"If you do that, he won't go." He reprimanded and it was true, Roman didn't want to leave if it was this painful. "No, he has to go, he has to live his life, out of all of us, he's experienced and has had to deal with more of everything thrown at us each time, its time something goes easy for him, even if it means he has to leave." Vincent argued and Roman looked at him in tears. "Oh I love you kid." He cried as they hugged for one last time till they met again. "Wise words." Marie called out with flushed cheeks and red eyes. "I'm alright love, I just wish goodbyes didn't suck." She confessed and Roman understood, goodbyes really did suck.
"So your parents are already in Greenway Bay?" The Luna asked and Roman nodded. "They already set up everything, I just needed to say goodbye." Roman explained as Lex hugged him from behind. "They have always been suckers at letting their last born go." Alpha Hashad joked as they all laughed. "That reminds me, this is yours kid." Lex asserted as he handed the keys to the car, and greenhouse to Vincent. "No way— you're— giving me the car." He was flabbergasted. "Yeap, happy early birthday." Lex replied as Vincent cheered with Zach twirling him around. "Thanks uncle Lex." He cheered as he hugged Lex and Roman. "You're welcome, my parents are waiting, they need to be back here for game night with the Thornes so we have to go." Roman finally stated and they all huddled around him and Lex. "When I'm back from the Western Cape I will be visiting you first." Thalia announced and Roman loved it, he was going to Greenway Bay with Lex, they would be living there for however long, Roman needed the fresh start and work on himself and his relationship with Lex, because he hadn't told the alpha yet, but they were about to be parents.
So as everyone finally let go, he opened a portal to his new home and waved them goodbye, for a little while. "So Thalia, you staying for another couple of days?" Marie asked and she frowed sadly. "No I'm not, Amon has been nagging me since this morning about when I'm coming, so unfortunately this is goodbye." She replied and they all smiled toward her. "We understand dear, your parents are proud of you, remember that." Marie asserted and Thalia knew that, but her parents were also clingy, its why they were with Amon in the western cape already, they would portal or fly back and forth until they were satisfied, or never stop for that matter just to be with her it was endearing, its why she wasn't saying goodbye to them, they didn't believe in goodbyes. "I know, and as for you Vinny, take care of everyone and yourself, along with that beautiful mate of yours." She stated as light shimmered in her palm. "We all agreed that you should have this, in case anything happens to us or you, we each have one and they all have a piece of the six of us, if we ever need each other, or need you, this is the tool to use." Thalia explained as she gave the life force disk to Vincent, each colourful crystal representing them, grey, blue, black, orange, purple and lastly canary yellow for him. Vincent accepted the disk as he hugged Thalia now more than ever, he felt that they were never apart, he had a piece of them with him.
"Goodbye everyone, I'm off to learn meteorology and explore the world with my mate, don't miss me too much." Thalia called out as she shot up into the sky and in a flash of blinding grey light she was gone. "Of course she would study meteorology, she's the freaking witch of storms." Vincent jabbed and they all laughed, they weren't sad anymore but rather happy that the outcasts were going out in the world and finally living their lives, Vincent knew he had to live his own life, even with the responsibility of taking care of the lost witches he encountered, he would always find balance like Allen taught him, and love like they all gave him, it wasn't the end, just a new beginning.
