Elves of Rivendelle
Amongst the shrubs of gold
Petals of silver so bold
Swayed beings, devine
And beauty yet again redefine
Elegance of other worldly
My eyes, are they truly worthy?
The burn of the sun
Honey glow on their skin, like webs spun
Rustle of silky phenomenal hair
A sight so marvelous, so rare
Finger, long and thin
Complexion white as snow, ebony and honey, therein
Eyes of pure silver
Their stare bore through, sending down a shiver
Their smile bright
Urge to control the blush, a losing fight
Noble veins seen everywhere
Head held high, nothing wavering would dare
Oh how confident do they seem
Of holy light they deem
Glories hidden
Underneath their vast knowledge, I bidden
Power shining through
Their body of flesh eternal, they pursue
Oh to be with creature so devine
Is truly a pleasure but not benign
Their pride so big
As high as a brig
Unseen, blind truth
Still to know beauty routh
Men, don't thee compare
To a race so fair
Like ever so glorious bell
The Elves of Rivendelle
