"ADAM!"

I threw my purse on the couch. Adam came in the room looking at his phone.

Before I came back, I texted Max that I was getting something because of an emergency. I couldn't tell him about Red.

"What?" Adam said.

"I need to talk to you."

"Sure." He didn't look up from his phone.

I waited there for a minute. He still didn't look at me.

"Oh my god!" I said.

I yanked him by his ear and pulled him in the box room.

"OWW!" he yelled.

I closed the door behind me and pushed him onto the pile of boxes.

"Adam! I have an emergency!" I said to him.

"Can you tell me without breaking my ribs?" he said, rubbing his side.

"Sorry. But I bought tickets to a concert for Red's birthday a couple days and I got a all saying that there was a problem in the system so they couldn't give me my tickets and I demanded for the tickets by Saturday and they said the only way I could get them would be by driving to Seattle and getting them there but it has to be by 8:30 tonight! Help me?"

"Um wow. Anyways, Melody, we have to shoot your video and others and get some editing done. You can't leave." he said.

"I promise I will stay later, it doesn't matter. I just need your help. I can leave if you come with me." I said.

He looked at his phone then at me.

"Ugh, you're lucky I love you."

"Yay! Okay, we'll be back in an hour if we leave now." I said and hurried out of the room.

We left the room before I turned to face him.

"Also, no one can know what we're doing, I didn't even tell Max." I whispered.

"Fine. Let's just go." he said and we left without being seen.

We jumped in my car. I turned on the ignition quickly and looked at my watch. 5:15

"Alright, let's go." I said to Adam then I pulled out of the parking lot.

Five minutes into the trip
"So how long is it from here to Seattle?" Adam asked while on his phone, again.

"I don't know. About twenty minutes? You should know, you've been there before." I said, keeping my eyes on the road.

"Okay." he said and leaned back in his chair.

Eight minutes into the trip
"I need to use the bathroom." Adam said.

"Bruh! You just used before we left." I said to him.

"Yeah, but I have the bladder of a five-year-old. Pleeeeeeeease pull over!" he said, jumping up and down.

"No! You're gonna have to hold it, Calliou."

Eleven minutes into the trip
A ring came from my dashboard. The low gas signal flashed.

"F**k." I muttered.

"Okay, Adam. I have to get gas so you can use the bathroom now." I said to him.

"Yes!" he said excitedly.

I pulled over to a local gas station. Once I parked my car in front of a gas slot, Adam jumped out and ran inside the store.

Five minutes later, I was done getting gas. Adam still hadn't come back.

"Ugh. Where is he?"

I walked inside the store looking for Adam. There were about three people in the store, but none of them I saw, were Adam.

I scanned the store, looking around. Then, I saw Adam's hair behind a rack of chips.

I marched over to him.

"Adam, we - You've got to be kidding me."

He was holding six bags of family size chips and looked at me like I was gonna take them.

"Aye! I'm hungry!" he said as he walked over to the counter to pay.

I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes. "Ugh, fine! But hurry up!"

He paid quickly and walked out door and I followed.

Twenty-five minutes into the trip
"Okay we're here."

Adam and I got out of the car and walked into the TicketMaster building.

We walked up to the counter.

"Hello, how may I help you?" the lady at the counter said.

Much nicer than the other one.

"Hi. I have tickets on hold for Melody Firestone." I said.

I exchanged my other information and before I knew it, I had the tickets in my hand.

"Thank you. Have a good day." I said to the lady.

"You too."

Adam and I walked out of the building. I smiled at the tickets. We jumped in my car and headed back home.

"Wow, that was simple." Adam said.

I nodded. "Yeah, thanks for coming with me."

"You're welcome-" Adam kept on staring at the envelope that held the tickets.

"Hey, that's not just two tickets is it?"

I looked at him and smiled.

"Adam, you and everyone in the offices, is going to a concert!"
