So tonight me and Max are watching a movie in my apartment. We haven't had a date in forever, not since Natalie left for college.

But right now I can't focus on that, because we still have work.

"Mel, I need the paper with the editing placement." Max told me.

I took off my headphones and grabbed the paper folded next to my post-it reminders.

"Here, sorry about that." I said to him as I handed him the paper.

He grabbed the paper and kissed me on the head. "It's fine. Mel, you've been kind of off lately. Is anything wrong... Are you on your, you know."

"Max! No, I'm not! And also, I've just been a little tired lately, you know, with Ginger back, she's been barking in the middle of the night. I haven't been getting enough sleep." I said.

He nodded. "I see."

Just an FYI, Ginger is my dog I had back when I had a family. She was the best but when the fire came, she ran out safely and my neighbor has been taking care of her.

And to show how amazing my boyfriend is, he got in touch with my neighbor, and she flew over here to visit some family, but brought Ginger with.

It was my birthday and his birthday present to me was Ginger.

He's so cute!

But since I've been working all day for the past few days, she's been acting up in the middle of the night, so I got a dog sitter.

This is how the scenario went down.

I closed the door behind me and opened the door for Ginger to hop out of the car. She wagged her tail in anticipation to see where we were headed. I smiled. "We're right here, girly."

I walked down the cobblestone path, holding Ginger, her leash on her. I rang the doorbell to the house. Ding-dong.

The door opened. Jess appeared from the doorway.

"Hey, Je-"

"OH MY GOD! PUPPIE!" Jess yelled.

She hugged Ginger and she licked her face (Ginger licked Jess's face, not the other way around.... Jess isn't that weird.)

After that, Jess agreed to take care of her anytime I had to work a lot.

I stood up from my chair and walked out of the office, Max following. I walked to the kitchen and headed for the coffee pot, my phone next to it.

Max leaned against the doorway. "Making coffee?"

I looked at him and smiled. "Pfft." I pressed a few icons on my phone then put it to my ear.

"Hello, Starbucks, how can I help you?"

"Hi, can I have a vanilla bean frappé?"

Max laughed. I put down my phone and opened the fridge. I pulled out milk and went to the shelf to pull out gummy worms, Oreos, chocolate pudding, and a bowl with a spoon.

Max looked at me with big eyes. "Okay, now I seriously think you're on your-"

"Oh my god, Max! This is for my snacking video!"

Since my channel grew a lot, I made new series, one of them being, Snacking with Mel.

It's a type of cooking show where I make different how-to snack videos every Tuesday.

Max chuckled. "Oh, I forgot."

I smiled and shook my head. I left the kitchen and went to the film station, dropping off the items in my hands, then went to the box room. Max followed the entire time.

I finally looked behind me. "Max, you don't have to follow me everywhere I go. It's not like I'm gonna get karate chopped whenever I enter a room." I said with a smile.

He smiled and grabbed my hands. "Well, I like protecting you and being around you in general."

"I like being around you too, but sometimes I need personal space." I said, still smiling.

He wrapped his arms around my waist. "Still need more space?"

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I guess this will do."

He smiled and kissed me passionately. I kissed him back. As we slowly started to make out, guess who, at this very moment, decided to show up, with a vlog camera.

"Ew! Get a room!"

"Adam!"

You guessed it!

"What? This is cute, in a more throwing uppie, gagging way." Adam said pointing the camera in my face.

Max let go of me and stared at Adam. Adam got the signal and took off, Max chasing him. Adam dropped the camera, so I picked it up. I pointed the lens at me.

"Hi, Sky Army. Sorry you had to see that." I glanced at Adam and Max's chase and saw Adam coming back this way.

I quickly looked back at the lens.

"Malody for the win!" I said then turned off the camera.

But it was true. No one could have a stronger love than ours. And no one can break that love.

Well, not now at least.

Ohhh man! What's gonna happen? Is someone gonna try to break the love between Max and Melody? Or is their relationship going to come to an end?

Sorry, about the slow update. A lot of things came up.

Now, I now a lot of you heard of the happening of Max and Ross leaving he offices. It took me a long time to process this but I soon accepted it. No, I won't be changing the plot of The Couple Years or Peachy Love because of this. I like how the stories are going and maybe I'll change it in the future. But for now that's not happening.
