The Truth
Warning: blood, stabby stab tool stabbing someone :D
Scott's Perspective-
"You must've broken it! It couldn't've just happened!"
Xornoth growled and shouted, his eyes turning into a venomous red. Corruption grew in a circle around him and poison surrounded Scott.
Scott gasped and stumbled back.
Xornoth huffed and took a deep breath, calming down.
Scott opened the door and ran out.
Xornoth realized Scott was going to tell their parents what had happened, and he quickly snapped out of it, trying to untangle his ankles from the corrupted plants.
"Scott- wait!" Xornoth shouted, his voice cracking.
Scott ran into his parents' bedroom, and they both looked over at him.
Scott was breathing hard, and he looked terrified.
"Scott? Sweetie, what's wrong?" Scott's mother, Allison, asked, kneeling down to his level.
Scott took a shaky breath, trying to gather his thoughts.
"I- Xornoth- he's- "
Scott got cut off as a guard came rushing in.
Wallis looked up at the guard.
"Sir, it's Prince Xornoth. He's turned into the demon!" The guard exclaimed, and Wallis looked shocked.
Xornoth's Perspective-
"Seems like you're in quite the pickle." The demon said, smirking as he saw Xornoth breaking down.
"What do you want?" Xornoth cried, not even bothering to try and escape the corrupted world this time.
"Control. Power. Heck, you don't even need to do anything besides sit there pitifully."
"Scott's probably telling mom and dad now. I'm such a failure."
"Blah blah, I don't wanna hear your sob story."
"What did you do with Joey and Jaxon anyway?"
"I did as you asked." The demon shrugged, smiling.
"Joey's like a completely different person now!"
"Boo hoo, better clarify what you want next time then."
"You said you'd help me get with Joey."
"And I did!"
"You- you were like mind controlling him!"
"Like I said, you never clarified how you wanted me to do what you asked."
Xornoth sighed, tears falling.
"You're such a pathetic mess." The demon scoffed, walking up to Xornoth and glaring at him.
"Fine, just leave me to die then."
"Your choice." The demon shrugged, reaching out a hand, "Just let me take over and this'll all be over."
Xornoth hesitated but felt as though this was the right decision and shook the demon's hand.
Wallis' Perspective-
Wallis ran up to Xornoth's bedroom, where the door was shut.
The guard was about to help open it when Wallis slammed his body into it, determined to help his son.
Scott and Allison stood behind a couple of other guards as Wallis banged into the door.
It finally gave way and opened, revealing a venomous demon.
"Why hello there!" The demon said, speaking in Xornoth's voice.
Scott's eyes widened and he stepped back.
The demon flew over to Scott and smiled sickly.
"You must be the little guy who Xornoth talks about so much! Well besides that pathetic jungle prince." The demon said, rolling his eyes.
A guard stood in front of Scott, protecting him.
"Where's my son?" Wallis asked, his voice stern and strong.
"Oh I remember you! You're the little fella who put me in that crystal!" The demon said in a fake cheerful voice.
Wallis glared at the demon, who was controlling his eldest son.
"Give Xornoth back, he doesn't deserve this."
"Actually, he asked for this. So in a way, he did! How funny!!" The demon laughed chaotically.
"I would be willing to fight you again to put you back where you belong."
"Aw, now do you really think that's fair? I barely had any time out of isolation! Besides, I doubt you can really fight me. Let alone fight your son."
"I would do it in order to free him."
"Mhm..sure bud. You see, over the years, I've been able to get stronger. I just had to wait for the right person to show up. And guess what? Little Xornoth showed up right at my doorstep and he was strong enough to break the ice. Now there's just one little thing that's holding me back from full power. Once that's gone," The demon snapped and smiled sickly, "There's no stopping me. And it's easy to take over Xornoth since he just gives up control!"
"Xornoth wouldn't do that! He would fight!" Scott shouted and the demon laughed.
"Yeah, sure he would. Listen kiddo, your brother's gone."
Wallis snuck up on the demon when it was distracted with Scott, and he seared his sword down the demon's back, causing blood and poison to spread on the carpet and floor.
The demon fell to the ground, coughing up black goo, before fainting.
Scott stepped back and Wallis frowned grimly.
"D-dad?"
Wallis looked up at his youngest son, who looked terrified.
"Is Xornoth going to be okay?" He whispered.
...
"I don't know, son."
