The Secret Passageway
Scott's Perspective-
Scott continued through the narrow passage, and he saw a light on the other end.
He gasped and started running, desperate to make it out again.
"Finally, I can go back home- "
Scott cut himself off as he saw himself in another cave, but this time it was much bigger and lush with moss and plants.
There were gold blocks scattered around and dimly lit candles lighting up the room.
"Where...am I?" Scott whispered, walking around slowly.
He saw an exit and flew up, peeking out. His eyes widened as he saw a blizzard outside.
"I am far from home." He said in a quiet, nervous tone. He narrowed his eyes as he saw something in the distance. It looked like giant mountains surrounding something.
A huge gust of snowy wind blew in Scott's face. He shivered and flew back down, sitting down on the grassy floor.
He looked around, confused at how this was here.
I wonder if Gem found this.
He continued exploring and he saw a portrait behind a bunch of vines. Scott tilted his head, and he carefully froze the vines before pulling them down.
There was a portrait of two giant stags, one with golden antlers and the other with red corrupted ones.
"Woah..." Scott whispered.
He looked down and saw a book hidden in a nook under the portrait. Scott pulled it out and opened it, seeing that some pages were ripped, and it was all in the Elven language.
"Looks like I'm going to have a long night." Scott sighed, glancing back outside to see the blizzard still going strong.
The Next Day (Gem's Perspective)-
"It's been two days, where is he?" Wallis asked, full of stress and worry.
"I'm sorry, I have no idea what could've happened." Gem said, "I tried to door again and nothing worked, it's sealed tight."
Wallis paced around worriedly.
"Do you have any idea where he could've gone?" Wallis asked.
"I have no idea. The entrance is the only way in and out."
Wallis sighed and Allison hugged him.
Gem frowned and she left. She checked back at the cave and tried to enter again.
She knocked her staff on the door, but it didn't open. She tried a couple spells, but nothing opened.
She sighed and shouted Scott's name, but there was no response.
"Please be okay." She whispered, "I don't know what I'd do if I have to tell Jimmy you went missing..."
