Xornoth's Perspective-

Two Weeks Later-

By now, my father and I have gone around to most of the empires and my father has spent some time trying to figure out where this crystal went, none the wiser that it was under my dresser.

"Alright, today I'm going to commune with the other emperors and sort this out. If this demon comes back, we need a plan." My father said and my mother nodded, a worried expression on her face.

I sighed and crept back upstairs.

"Sup cousin." Jaxon smiled at me, standing outside of Scott's room.

I rolled my eyes and ignored him, entering my room.

"What's wrong? Scared of this demon?"

"Leave me alone, Jax."

"I bet you have something to do with this, you attention seeking brat."

I growled and Jaxon smirked.

"Hit me. I know you wanna punch me. Do it. I dare you." He said.

I huffed and slammed my door in his face.

"Stupid fucking idiot." I muttered, hearing Jaxon's laughter on the other side of the door.

I looked out the window and saw carriages approaching the castle.

I sighed and looked at the box under my dresser which now had red corrupted leaves crawling out of the box.

My eyes widened and I grabbed the box, quickly tearing the leaves apart and throwing them out the window.

"Jeez, this is getting worse." I whispered.

I sighed and leaned my head back against the wall.

I just want to be anywhere but here. Please someone help.

Someone knocked on the door and I shoved the box under my dresser before opening the door.

Lumi stood there, smiling.

"Your father wants you to come downstairs to meet the other emperor's children."

"Why? I've already met them."

Lumi sighed, "The emperors are going to be having an important meeting and the kids were just dragged along. Just try and get along with them."

I grumbled and nodded.

"Good, now follow me."

She led me, Jaxon, and Scott downstairs where some of the other princes and princesses were.

I noticed Joey and smiled, walking over.

"Hi." I said, "I didn't think you'd be dragged over here."

"My dad didn't want to bring me along, but I convinced him to." Joey said.

I chuckled, "I'm glad, you're fun to chat with."

Joey smiled and I blushed a bit.

Meanwhile (Scott's Perspective)-

Scott stood in the corner and felt someone bump into him.

"O-oh sorry, I was walking backwards and not paying attention." The guy said, laughing nervously. He had dirty blonde hair and lime and dark green clothes on. There was also slime on his shoulder and cheek.

Scott giggled, "You have slime on your face."

"Do I? Dang it I thought I got it all off." He said, wiping his cheek.

"N-no, the other one." Scott laughed again, "Here, let me."

He gently wiped the guy's cheek and they both blushed.

Scott then leaned back and coughed awkwardly, "Heh, sorry."

"N-no, it's alright." The guy picked up his hat which had fallen on the ground when he ran into Scott.

Scott raised an eyebrow and the guy sighed.

"Yes, I know my hat looks like a fish."

Scott giggled, "It's kinda cute."

"Thanks! I'm Jimmy by the way. You are?"

"Scott."

"That's a nice name, it suits you."

Scott smiled brightly until he felt someone tap his shoulder. He turned around and saw Jaxon.

"Hey Scott, everyone here's a dork so I'm just gonna stick with you."

Scott smiled nervously and Jimmy tilted his head.

"Well, I wouldn't say everyone here is a dork, I mean Lizzie's pretty smart- "

"I didn't ask, nerd." Jaxon interrupted and Jimmy looked down, hurt.

"Jax, why'd you say that?" Scott asked, irritated at his cousin's behavior.

"Scott, I already told you. It's for the greater good."

"You're just being mean! For literally no reason!"

Jaxon rolled his eyes, "You're such a whiner Scott, grow up."

"You know what, I see why Xornoth keeps losing his temper around you. You're just a jerk!"

Jaxon scoffed, "Fine, be that way. I'll go find someone better to hang out with."

"Yeah, good luck with that."

(back to Xornoth's POV)

Xornoth and Joey continued chatting and joking when Xornoth noticed Jaxon walking over.

His face fell and Joey looked confused.

"What? What's wrong?" Joey asked.

"Jaxon." Xornoth muttered and Jaxon smirked.

"Heyyy cous. How're you doing? Who's this cutie you're with?" Jaxon asked, winking at Joey.

"Shut up, Jaxon." Xornoth growled.

"Nah I don't think I will." Jaxon smirked.

"Then leave."

"Why should I? I can try and hook up with someone if I want, can't I?"

Joey shrunk down in the chair and Xornoth huffed, storming off.

I tried to include some Flower Husbands fluff bc I feel like there's a lot of angst happening and going to happen so I tried to lighten it and uhh- I think I failed XD

Sorry I just really like Jaxon's character and I like writing him and having be an absolute bitch to people :D
