This chapter is probably the most confusing out of the entire story so try and stay with me here.

Bold – the demon's thoughts

Bold & italicized – what the demon says or does (he's speaking like in Xornoth's body)

Italicized – what Xornoth says or does

And finally words that have nothing are what Joey does or says.

And when it says 'Xornoth' in like normal letters that aren't bolded or anything special, know that it's just what Joey sees. Like he thinks it's Xornoth.

I- I tried to rewrite this chapter so many times and it's just- this is probably the best way it can be so, enjoy!

Xornoth's Perspective-

The demon whistled as it teleported to The Lost Empire. He put down a picnic basket, which was filled with food it stole from the Rivendell Palace's kitchen. The demon unfolded a blanket and placed it neatly on the ground before walking towards Joey's sun temple.

Joey was sitting on the steps, still wearing his crown.

The demon smirked.

Perfect. It's all going according to plan.

"Don't hurt him! Please." Xornoth begged, but he was too weak to take back control from the demon. He cried quietly.

Joey smiled as he saw 'Xornoth' and ran up to him. "Hey Xor-Xor!"

The demon cringed but kept a smile on his face. "Why hello there, love." He winked and kissed Joey's hand.

Joey flushed red and he smiled.

Xornoth watched in fear.

"Ready for our date?" The demon asked, smiling.

Joey nodded, walking next to 'Xornoth'.

The demon sat down on the picnic blanket, smiling as Joey gasped.

"You planned this for me?" Joey asked, smiling as he sat down.

"Just for you." The demon said, tracing his finger on Joey's chin.

A shiver was sent down Joey's spine and he fell deeper in love.

"STOP! You're mind controlling him! Let him go! Please!" Xornoth begged, not being able to handle the fact that Joey was falling in love with the demon.

"Joey, there's something I need to ask you to do for me." The demon said, leaning in close, teasing Joey by gently brushing his lips against Joey's.

Joey gasped and blushed, nodding. "What is it?" He asked, "I'll do anything."

"Anything?" The demon hummed.

Joey nodded again.

"Well...I need you to kill the dragon for me."

Joey blinked, "The- the dragon?"

"Mhm. That's the only thing holding us back from being together. Forever. Just you and me." The demon booped Joey's nose.

Joey smiled, "I- I'll do it."

"NO! Stop!" Xornoth shouted, "He doesn't deserve this!! He did nothing wrong!! LET HIM GO!"

"Perfect. Thanks love." The demon kissed Joey.

Xornoth felt tears form in his eyes as he felt helpless.

Xornoth opened his eyes and saw he was in the corrupted world.

The demon was sitting on a little thrown, humming a tune.

"Can I leave?" Xornoth asked in a bit of a whiny tone.

"Fine, go." The demon waved him off.

Xornoth got up and walked towards a lava pool.

"Hope you enjoy the last couple days of your whiny life."

Xornoth froze.

The demon smirked, "Aww, did little Xornoth finally realize that his life is over? That there's nothing he can do to stop me? That everything is falling into place for me? Well, have fun dealing with that. Nice meeting you, but I'm gonna be stealing the show."

The demon pushed Xornoth into the lava, smirking.

Xornoth gasped as he shot up. He looked around and saw he was sitting at his desk in his room.

He took a shaky breath and stared out his window, thinking of everything that had just happened.

It's...over. Everything that's here, everyone that I love...is going to be...gone. And it'll all be my fault.

Xornoth felt everything start to weigh down on him and he cried.

He heard footsteps and he quickly tried to calm down. He wiped his eyes and tried to catch his breath when Scott walked in.

"Xornoth, you won't believe the day I had." Soctt gushed, "Me and Jimmy went out to the- ...are you alright?" Scott looked concerned as he saw his brother.

"Hm? M-me? Yeah! Yeah, I'm fine." Xornoth lied, putting on a smile.

Scott narrowed his eyes. He saw the tears on Xornoth's cheek, and he took notice of how he was shaking.

"What happened?" Scott asked quietly.

"N-nothing, I'm fine."

"Xornoth- "

"Everything is FINE!" Xornoth shouted before crying again.

Scott, who had no idea what happened, did his best to try and calm Xornoth down.

"Hey, it's okay." Scott said in a quiet voice, and he hugged his brother.

Xornoth cried.

"It's not." He sobbed in a quiet voice, "It's not going to be okay. It's all my fault."

"What do you mean? What happened?" Scott asked, concerned.

Xornoth leaned back and he wiped his eyes.

"Scott...the end of the world is about to arrive."
